You can write a whole poem about the 6 days we spent in this unforgettable place. Atmospheric, very cozy, the cleanliness and decoration of the space is amazing, such an atmosphere has been created that you feel calm and really relax your body and soul, wonderful doctors and medical workers at the spa, food, you know, when you eat and feel that the person who cooked this food did it just for you With love and care, it's great, and in return I want to thank you endlessly for the beautiful pool, hammam. All my life I had a dream like in the movie...Yakin is taking me to Gagra! And finally it came true, it is this hotel that meets all the needs. A historic building renovated to meet today's requirements! Location, botanical garden..terraces..fountains...modern swimming pool..your own beach..30 meters to the sea..beauty at any time of the year..Pier restaurant..I recommend it to everyone according to its stars and price. Who has parking on the car, but needs local insurance and check their license..the laws of the Russian Federation on the extension of rights do not apply here!

A stunning hotel , a sanatorium of the former elite of the party , it's fine to eat, you won't stay hungry, but you shouldn't expect a good five-star rating from this hotel , but it's better than in neighboring restaurants in any case , this is the best that Abkhazia can offer in terms of comfort ! We have been vacationing in Abkhazia for five years and this is the best hotel we have ever visited. A beautiful palace-type building, this is a former sanatorium of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the benefit of the owner during the restoration preserved the elements of decoration from Soviet times. The Standard rooms are small - only 12 sq.m., but it was not an inconvenience for us, it turned out that this was quite enough for comfortable accommodation, especially since not much time was spent in the room. A beautiful territory, a wide beach, on the territory of a wonderful restaurant "Pier" in which they simply cook divinely, there is a hookah. We were very satisfied with the rest and will definitely come back again.

Excellent hotel, courteous staff, varied and delicious food. We were in our own car, the parking lot is comfortable and spacious.
A warm and spacious swimming pool, well-maintained territory.
The only thing that upset me this time on a trip to Abkhazia was the local traffic police inspectors, who brought out new deadlines for the preservation of alcohol in the human body - two days, at least....
Otherwise everything is fine, the local population is friendly and always ready to help, the weather was excellent.

You don't have to leave the hotel at all, everything is fine here. The Soviet sanatorium of the party and the government, brought to the state of good 4 stars. And you can eat in local restaurants without fear of poisoning. I recommend checking out the manu of treatments at the local spa and balneological complex. Every day they take you to a clinic nearby to lie in hydrogen sulfide baths, this is included in the room rate. A cosmetologist and very decent doctors - no kidding.

A family of 2 adults and a child of 9 years old vacationed at the end of August. The weather turned out to be quite hot, we expected a lower temperature. The sea is amazing, 27 degrees, clean, the bottom is visible even at the level of restrictive buoys. Coincidentally, on the dates of the stay at the hotel, the child had a doctor. I would like to mention the gorgeous animator Margot, who proposed the idea of holding a holiday and spent it fun, fervently, creatively and impressively!!!! Besides, Margot is a cheerful enthusiast!!!!He always approaches the matter with fiction. The kids love her. As for nutrition, it's a stretch to put 4 stars (But the most important minus is the epidemic of enterovirus, which mowed down everyone in a row from small to large, so a total of 4 points!

I'll start with the main thing, 5* differ from Turkish ones.
There is a huge park and a beach.
The SPA, pool and gym are great! You won't find them in every top five (even in Turkey).
The buffet will probably be simpler than in Turkey. At the same time, you can eat quite a variety. Combined with the lack of need to experiment with catering outside the hotel, this is a real bonus, well worth the money.

We have been to this hotel before and came back in July 2024. we were very sorry, the price does not match the quality, we lived in the 1st building.A night's stay in a 2-bed room cost almost 27,000, meals like in a working canteen, boiled sausage, sausages for breakfast.For lunch, not even chicken wings, but parts.Drinks, wine should be drunk with caution.No one removes large stones on the beach, it has been thrown over the winter.Excellent restaurant by the sea, Pier ,music,very tasty dishes on the grill.But for some reason there are no people at all.They are afraid that the food is the same as in the hotel.But the neighbors in the restaurant "Nart" are full of people.A good view from the window, the mattresses are not very comfortable., you fall through.Like that.There was not a pleasant aftertaste.

I had a vacation in August 2023! The hotel is amazing, the location, the park, the style, the food! There is a very pleasant animation / Lilia and Margot - for aqua aerobics 5 +, they lived in building 2, now building 3 is being built nearby and some of the windows overlook the construction site, but it didn't bother us much, it's a pity that there is no water cooler in the hotel, there was still not enough music in the pool and on the territory

My family visited quite a lot of countries and have long dreamed of going to Abkhazia. And so it was decided "Let's go!". When choosing a hotel, an important criterion was the availability of 5 stars, as well as three meals a day. After reviewing the admiring reviews, of which there were quite a lot and the rating of the hotel, the choice fell on Amra Park-hotel & SPA 5*. There were, of course, bad reviews, but they thought it was the machinations of competitors. But it would be better to listen to negative reviews. Since then, we realized that everything written was really true. Everything is very, very bad in this hotel. And let someone, after reading the review, say that this is not so, we can say one thing, so you have not rested in 5* hotels, where the service, food, cleanliness of the rooms of the hotel itself are the same 5*. Amra is a beautiful facade and only (only if you do not look closely at the facade of the building). Check-in takes place in the main building. The girls at the reception with stone faces, "no hello, no goodbye." Everyone who reads, keep in mind that payment is only in cash (!!!). Apparently this is how the owners of the hotel avoid paying taxes. Our arrival at the hotel took place in the evening (around 19:00), in the same 2nd building, in a family two-room suite! Lux! The photo on the website does not correspond to what the number actually is. We were not taken to the room, and also did not help with luggage. It's evening, it's dark outside, the area is rather poorly lit, and it's also raining. The only person who "showed" the way is the security guard, who said to go along the fence and turn left near the garbage truck, and then you will figure it out (and then you would already think that this is a very strange presentation of information to hotel guests). But following the hint, we found the 2nd building and found that there was no one at the reception anymore. Therefore, we started searching for our number on our own.
Suite room.
Having entered the "suite" itself from the threshold, I wanted to cry. We write these words seriously. If they had seen the number before they gave the money, they would have spat on the prepayment and left right away. Dirt!!!! The room is just dirty!!! Despite the fact that it is two-room, it is very small. We chose a family suite. The door of the second room, when partially opened, rested against the bed of the main room. Everything is kept on snot. The bathroom is dirty, the light at the mirror does not work, the socket falls out altogether. The shower stall is a separate story, just a horror and a nightmare, solid black mold both inside and outside. The water pressure in the shower and in the sink is simply absent. The Abkhazian mountain river flows faster than the water in the room of this hotel. And God forbid, press the drain in the toilet, you will have to wait until there are enough cans to continue taking a shower or washing. And we stopped by for 6 nights, paying 120,000 thousand rubles out of season. And so the number is terrible!
Meal. Morning came and we went to breakfast. Everything is cold and breezy, and we came in the middle of breakfast, not at the end. The so-called "dishes" themselves are simply tasteless. We don't understand how you can cook so disgusting. Spoils the food so that they don't eat it later.
Swimming pool. After breakfast we decided to go to the indoor pool. The idea of such a pool on the territory of the hotel is good, but the implementation is lame. Bleach hurts the eyes. Apparently for this reason, there is no lifeguard there. Although for safety reasons, it must be because the pool is quite deep. Disappointed, we did not visit him again. And you can't swim in the sea, it's cold, it's not the season. Thank God we were in the car, which made it possible not to sit in the hotel. I didn't want to be either in the room or in the hotel itself, from the word at all (!), as there are those dishes that they serve.
Massage. Since this is a Hotel & SPA, we wanted to go for a massage. We signed up, but I was confused by the moment that payment is made before the procedure begins. The evening before, after reading reviews about how they do "massage", that the masseuse has long nails with which she scratches the body, they decided to cancel the recording. "First the money, then the chairs" decided not to risk their health.
Let's summarize. And so, we stayed at the hotel for 5 nights instead of 6 nights. They were supposed to leave on Saturday, but they couldn't stand it and moved out on Friday. During our stay, our room was cleaned once. If of course it can be called cleaning, the floor was wiped, and then in the center of one room. The bed was never changed during the stay. Towels were left in the bathroom on the floor, which means that they need to be replaced, so the towels were not even lifted, and accordingly the floor was not washed under them, etc. Requests for a change of towels were perceived with a negative, the girl came and gave towels into her hands with a favor and dissatisfaction that she was disturbed. Toilet paper needs to be begged, they did not replenish themselves. You know, Amra is most likely 2 stars or even not, it's a hostel. At the time of eviction, they didn't even ask what was wrong, why were you leaving a day earlier? This is apparently in the order of things for this institution, because the accommodation is paid in full. I do not understand those who go to Abkhazia and are completely delighted, it is unclear only from what, probably, from the poverty of the country, destroyed houses, dirt, homeless pedigreed dogs. This was the first and last trip to Abkhazia, as well as to the Amra Park-hotel & SPA. Don't even want to imagine what kind of service in hotels with fewer stars. If we could assume this, we would immediately go to the coast of Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana.
P.S. I advise the hotel management, go to the Asian five, and you will find out what service, customer orientation, cleanliness and delicious food are.
It is worth checking hotels for genuine information and the "stardom" that the hotel assigns to itself.

The hotel is nice, although very expensive. A large territory, its own hospital, nature, the beach - wonderful. They feed on a C plus. If they had cleaned the dishes in their cafes on time, they would have given the same glasses, they would not have had a price. It is better not to go outside the territory and on excursions too, there is nothing to do. And God forbid to eat somewhere outside the hotel, the risks of poisoning are very high. Abkhazia!

We had our first vacation in Amr in 2006.
Since then, we have been visiting Amra almost every year, and sometimes twice a year. From this we can conclude that for my family Amra is the best sanatorium in the USSR.
Architecture, the beach, the arboretum, the attentiveness of the administration, responsive to all your wishes (a broken refrigerator was replaced in an hour) - all this pays for a fairly high cost of living, but such comfort and such a level of boarding house cannot be cheap. And special thanks to the maid Maya, who kept our room in perfect condition and fully equipped.

The place is wonderful, historical. The rooms are spacious, everything is there. Daily maintenance and cleaning. There were problems with the air conditioners (early August, it was very hot), due to the voltage in the general network, they were periodically disconnected. The buffet service also leaves much to be desired. From time to time, cutlery, plates and cups were taken out at the wrong time, and we had to wait. Sometimes we had to remind the staff that we needed appliances or dishes, it seemed that the manager did not control this issue. Due to the large number of visitors, the tables were not cleaned on time, again we had to wait at the table with dirty dishes. Otherwise, there are no complaints, the impressions were pleasant.

What you need to know right away when choosing a hotel is that it's not about food! The food barely reaches 3*, but everything is fresh. But for aesthetics, peace, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the most wonderful coffee on the royal verandas - just here! From the first steps you get into the elitist past, the designers have tried to combine modernity with the Stalinist Empire so much that it captures you and does not let you go until the moment of departure. A special charm is added by old trinkets, in the form of dishes or furniture, which are perfectly inscribed. What was especially surprising, especially after reading the reviews, was the excellent wi-fi, which worked throughout the vast territory of the hotel. And cleanliness… In the pool, in the halls, in the bar and in the rooms. For which I am immensely grateful to the fairies of purity, and especially to the senior maid Maya, who surrounded me with care and attention. The hotel does not seem to be small, but it is so cozy in every corner of it that we felt comfortable at home. What is worth working on is creating festive atmospheres (we were on March 8) and, of course, on the Swedish line.

Abkhazia is always hospitable, and the SPA HOTEL in Gagra was pleasantly surprised. We visited Gagra at the end of February. We came to change the picture. Long snowy Moscow and warm sunny Abkhazia. The hotel is located in a beautiful and picturesque place. The mimosa blossomed. The fragrance is heard everywhere. Cozy room, clean. Everything is there and bathrobes and a towel for the pool. The price includes breakfast and access to the spa pool. The breakfast is very varied and everyone can choose their favorite dish. The buffet. You can visit the procedures. They are paid. The prices are affordable. We were accommodated in a room with floor-to-ceiling windows. We lived for two days and moved to another one. The problem is with cold water. A beautiful park, a cafe with live music on the shore. Artists come on weekends. The pool is clean, you can swim. There is a paid billiards, a gym. There is a cafe close to the hotel. You can order fish and beer. The mutton is excellent. Upon departure from Gagra, there is a small market with fresh fish. Take a herring. It's very tasty. Cut it up, add a little salt for a day and you can eat. The unforgettable taste of herring. There are also local fruits. The border was passed quickly without complications. Have a great trip!

Cleaning, cleanliness, service - everything is at a very good level. The breakfasts are excellent, the lunch is good, but I didn't like the dinner at all. There is a private spa nearby, so there is something to do in the off-season. We lived in the first building. The rooms are not small, high ceilings and a large balcony.
In general, I liked everything, but this is the price of the off-season. In summer, I think it is much more expensive.

General massage at Larisa Ivanovna's is just a fairy tale.. take a walk around the hotel, go to the observation towers - the view is like in history textbooks. Swing on the veranda on the suspended rocking chairs, listen to the sea. I definitely recommend the hotel.

The territory of the Park Hotel is fantastic, as is the location on the first line.Clean, cozy rooms with a large balcony.The food is made from local products, quite varied. We are very satisfied with the equipment and cleanliness on the beach (only slippers for pebble beaches should be taken with you in advance) Of course, the staff is slow in Abkhazian, but everyone is trying very hard. There are two restaurants on site. On the pier, you can hang out in diene forever, admiring the Sea, and if you turn the other way, then the mountains.. BUT: there was no imported alcohol, only local. That's why I share a life hack: order a car from the airport to the hotel so that you don't have to walk with your suitcases.And those who love prosecco and brut, take them with you from Adler or to Dutifrey
