Don't get fooled by a beautiful picture. She's not worth it. The buffet food is average. The reception staff is completely unaware of the norms of communication. Construction has been going on on the street since early morning. To the question "when will it end?", the answer is "tomorrow it will start at 9." The hotel probably gives 5 stars to the hotel itself. The rooms... only the view is cool. There is no change in the bar and the reaction is such that you decide for yourself, instead of contacting other points in the hotel in order to get a change. Change the management of the hotel, it is a pity that such architecture is in such hands. 1 star only for nature, but I will not come specifically to this hotel and will not advise anyone.

The most wonderful sanatorium in Abkhazia.. local Abkhazians (who have money for this holiday) have a rest here with pleasure. Abkhazia was very pleased and surprised. The level of the hotel is really high. Very clean, beautiful green area, private beach, towels and sun beds are included in the price. Indoor swimming pool, gym. The rooms are equipped with a safe, a TV with 31 channels, slippers, bathrobes, a hairdryer, toothbrushes, in short, everything is there. The food is normal, you won't stay hungry. WI-FI. Responsive staff. Relax, not for hanging out- if anyone is interested, it's quiet and peaceful.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days in early March 2022. The hotel is magnificent. The room in the main building deserves the highest praise. The food is wonderful, very tasty and varied (I only had breakfast). Beautiful well-maintained territory. There was live music in the restaurant by the sea every evening - the singer sings to a musical soundtrack. So the music is "half-alive".

We rest from May 1st to 11th. The hotel is wonderful! It is very beautiful and cozy. The food is excellent. We have breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We are vacationing with a child of 6 years old. There is always something for the child to take. Everything is very tasty and varied. A large selection of dishes. The staff is very polite and friendly. We used to rest in Croatia, Spain, Greece, Israel, and Cyprus, we always took 4-star hotels. The food, the territory, the hotel are definitely better here. There are flaws in the cleaning, but the staff is very friendly and it is easy to negotiate. We really want to come here in September.

One of the best hotels in Gagra. It is better to take the main building. Located on the 1st line. A wonderful park with cypresses, mimosa and lots of other plants. There is a swimming pool, although in a separate building, the sauna must be booked in advance. Very atmospheric hotel, everything is at a good level. The restaurant is right on the beach with a terrace. And what sunsets are a sight to behold. I've been here twice already, I'll come again!

A cool place in Abkhazia, one of the centers for a stopover from 3 days to a week, at least. I really liked the monumental atmosphere of the hotel, woven into the tropical climate on the coast. Excellent food, a cool large indoor pool, where the company spent 2-3 hours. A nice well-maintained clean beach. There are decent restaurants with a history near the hotel that are worth visiting 😉

The service is in Abkhazian. Expensive. The sea is dirty. But it's a very very beautiful area. Meals for 4. I recommend going out of season. Gagra itself is in ruins. In general, an amateur vacation. By the way, the spa is an Abkhazian paid sauna and massages. Only the bleach pool is included in the price. Well, in the summer, do not forget about rotavirus. Take medicines with you.

The hotel is beautiful, the place is atmospheric, but the impression was very spoiled by the security staff, who behaved just obscenely for no reason, it's a pity.
I was also surprised by the lack of a normal iron, for such a large hotel there are only 2 rooms with 2 irons, one of which is burned and dirtying clothes.

We are currently staying at the hotel (from 22.04 to 25.04), the hotel is in preparation for the "hot season", outright disregard for guests staying at the hotel "out of season" - a card (room key) is issued one per room (in January it was issued according to the number of guests). There is no round seal in the "book of reviews and suggestions", that is, the document is an unverified notebook (the organization indicated in the book is a certain LLC "Morskoy Bereg", photo attached), the employee at the reception desk cannot explain anything clearly about this, referring to a certain mythical administrator (who does not exist He has been in place for 2 days), assures that this is how it should be in Abkhazia.
A separate fat minus of the hotel is the Pier restaurant. When the hall was full (attended about 9 pm on 04/23), no more than 30%, the order was accepted for a long time, the courses of dishes were not followed - the hot was served with the salad, 25 minutes after the order. Among other things, there was a salad in the order, which is designated in the menu as "eggplant and suluguni salad", while the served dish of eggplants contained 20% of the total weight (photo attached), the rest were mediocre cucumbers and dull plastic tomatoes (suddenly). When asked to demonstrate the technological map according to which this "masterpiece" was made, the waiter invited a certain young lady (it is not known how it relates to this food, since she did not introduce herself), who first went to get a technological map, then returned, saying that the technological map was "glued to the chef" (yes, yes, that's right, this is a quote), and clarified whether the photo of the card would suit. It would suit us)) but then the girl returned with the message that she would not provide the card even in the form of a photo, which was actually expected, since it is obvious that the salad, which is stated on the menu with the dominant ingredient "eggplant", could not correspond to the actual serving, where cucumbers "steered". In general, the attempts of the hotel to claim the "best hotel in Abkhazia" are illusory, in fact, the prices are high with the bottom service, which may be the ceiling for Abkhazia

Excellent hotel, the best in Gagra. In 2021, I was lucky enough to visit
twice in June (it was the purest sea, but still cool) and I was swimming and sunbathing. And in August. The hotel has its own beach (small pebbles), the beach is large, both in length and width, comfortable sun beds and umbrellas, always clean.
Very varied and delicious food "Swede", at lunch there are always jugs of white and red dry wine, a variety of fruits. The staff is very friendly.

Beautiful architecture and park. The food is disgusting, I was sick only from the smell after a few days. Wine is a swill.
The beds are terrible, the pillows are lumpy, the linen is synthetic. Noise insulation-zero. Any request requires three repetitions, but it's still not a fact that they will be fulfilled. The price tag is horse, there is no comfort. Although this can be said about Abkhazia in general. But beautiful.

The former sanatorium named after the 17th Congress of the CPSU...
For the 53rd year it was a palace, only employees of the Central Committee's affairs department could get and be treated in it.
And now pay and admire the excellent architecture, magnificent views, the sea and the spacious beach.
The renovation in 2018 is good, but the rooms are cramped by current standards.
The pebbles on the beach are too big, there is at least no pier to enter the water.
The pool is good, although it is indoor.
There is a good hammam and sauna (by appointment).
The fitness room has poor ventilation, it stinks of rubber so that it is difficult to stay there.
The buffet is rather poor and tasteless, but it is located in a luxurious hall with huge windows overlooking the sea and mountains.

An excellent hotel, we stayed in the second building, it is cheaper than the main one, but no worse.It's quieter and quieter there.The only drawback is the very small rooms, purely for overnight stays.The food is excellent, the breakfasts are varied, the products are fresh.In my opinion, this is the best hotel in Abkhazia. The PIER restaurant is a separate story, only for its sake it is worth visiting Abkhazia, enjoying the atmosphere, tasting delicious pizza and seeing incredible sunsets.According to my recommendations, colleagues also rested, everyone is delighted!

I was unpleasantly surprised by the price-quality ratio.
The hotel is not bad. A beautiful large area, the hotel itself looks spectacular.
BUT the furniture is not new, the silicone seal was coming off the shower stall. Of the cosmetics, there were only shower gel and shampoo of dubious quality, which, in my opinion, is hardly suitable for a SPA hotel. The price per day is 11 thousand rubles. And this is for the beginning of December.

A gorgeous swimming pool with sea and mountain views. Clean, neat. They represent towels. We walked around the territory, clean and beautiful. Private beach at the hotel, cafes. It's a protected area, you can't just walk in.

We were at Amr in July 2021. The first impression of the main Stalinist building: luxurious! The renovation was done superbly, the two-room room on the 2nd floor was beautiful. We were delighted and decided that we would come here for NG... Then the most interesting thing: food... The buffet is not too varied, but you can eat - it seemed so to us!... On the 5th day, we heard a heartbreaking story at the next table that people were sick here: terrible diarrhea, vomiting, fever. We thought, it can't be: if it's as expensive as in Spain three years ago, probably the owners can't allow people to get poisoned?! They can! After dinner, I felt sick, pain, diarrhea, weakness: running to the toilet all night, morning and afternoon! The record for my whole life has been broken: 19 times in a day! Others were even worse: diarrhea and vomiting at the same time! The medicines taken from Moscow did not help. It became easier after taking medications from the nitrofuran group, in particular, entofuril, which clearly indicates the bacterial nature of the infection. The rest is ruined: they did not go further than the beach, they were afraid to go far from the toilet. Excursions to the beauties of Abzasia did not take place. We tried to talk about poisoning with the administration at the reception, and the answers followed: it was you who got drunk in the sea of water, you licked the stones (? !), it's your body that is frail, weakened, and others are fine ... (Yes? And I was pulling 100 kg in your gym there). It's your own fault, in general. And we are to blame for believing that our rest and health are not indifferent to the owners of the hotel, which is also positioned as the most expensive and fashionable in Abkhazia. Having paid for Spain, we got this vacation in the color of the substance that came out of us...

I would have stayed here for another week, but the staff are magical and amazing. I continue to write honest reviews... I evaluate the business from the position of the owner or top manager: the hotel staff caused damage of more than 50,000 rubles, neglecting the comfort of the guests. I was told that I'm not the only one here! Strangely, I came to Abkhazia to choose a comfortable place for a large-scale Mafia Festival, but instead I met with a certain level of rudeness and unwillingness to meet halfway. The staff is excellent and I want to shake hands with the guys and girls. Both words and actions are important. It is strange that when I was offered cooperation and that I wanted to organize Tours to Abkhazia for 10 to 100 people, the manager Svetlana suggested that I call the booking department. From this I conclude that the Amra Hotel does not need money. It's strange, then, for whom such cool guys as Eric, Nart, Camilla, Victoria, Alina and many other great guys are trying, to whom I am sincerely grateful for their participation and support! Svetlana Nikolaevna, you can't downgrade your hotel this way!
