Excellent friendly hosts, a large garden behind the house, not far from the sea, and the beach in this area is not busy, the sea is clean. There is a transfer service. The prices are reasonable. The rooms are quite comfortable for that kind of money. We rested 2 times in a row, I really liked it. There are individual excursions, the guide is just super, tells interesting stories, shows good locations for photos. I recommend it!

We rested here in September 2024.
The accommodation was booked in advance, prepayment per day. Arthur met me at the airport, brought me to the place, told me everything, showed me. A large kitchen equipped with everything you need, a spacious courtyard, barbecue, tables. The room is clean and cozy. There is a tap with clean drinking water from a well in the yard. We did not buy water in the store and recommend it to everyone - excellent water. It takes 15-20 minutes to get to the sea slowly, there is a cafe "Leon" on the way, you can have breakfast right there. There is also a market and a dolphinarium nearby. Many thanks to Larisa, Stella and Mikhail for a great vacation. Special thanks to Arthur for the exciting excursions !!!
It's a pity that the vacation ended so quickly.We hope to return to the Amigo Guest house more than once!

Good day to everyone. I want to tell you about a new place for me in the city of Gagra, the Amigo guest house is a cozy and lovely nest. Special attention should be paid to a large Courtyard surrounded by a garden overlooking the mountains - it is unrealistically beautiful!
the rooms are all spacious, bright, all equipped with their own bathroom + shower. Linen is changed on demand, room cleaning on demand, a very large kitchen where you can cook yourself a meal at any time of the day and not bother anyone, since this is a detached building. The courtyard is tiled, which is also very convenient, clean and beautiful. There are also tables in the courtyard where you can eat and admire the beautiful mountains. There is a barbecue area, you can fry a barbecue (thanks a lot to Arthur, it was very tasty!). To the sea 10 min. walking distance. Also within walking distance of cafes, shops, canteen, market, Ferris wheel, dolphinarium.....
The owners of this cozy nest are very kind and helpful people, Larisa, Mikhail, Arthur, Stella, Thank you very much for the service, comfort and warmth, thanks to which we felt at home. You are the best!!!! Thanks!!!!!!

We had a rest with our daughter in July 2023 at the Amigo guest house, the owners of the house are very hospitable and sincere people, they will answer all questions. The rooms are cozy, clean, have air conditioning, TV, bathroom. A detached kitchen with everything you need for cooking. The yard is large, well-maintained, you can spend the evening not in the room watching TV, but in the courtyard with a friendly company. The hosts arrange a feast with their guests, with an accordion player and songs. Shops and cafes are within walking distance. To the sea at a calm pace, along an asphalt road, no more than 10 minutes. The beach is pebbly, clean, you can always find a place. And what interesting, exciting excursions Arthur conducts!!! You will not be disappointed for sure! And you'll leave with a bunch of beautiful photos. What a beautiful nature here, you fall in love at first sight waterfalls, mountains, sea. I don't know who writes bad reviews, but apparently they were in another place! My husband and I vacationed in the first half of July 2024. We were greeted very well, even though we arrived a day later than I booked the room. Larisa made a discount and did not count the overdue day! Arthur and Stella are very nice people, helpful and hospitable. The rooms are clean and cozy, there is a TV, air conditioning, toilet with shower! The room is cleaned immediately after the departure of the guests! Arthur conducts interesting excursions, even went up to Lake Malaya Ritsa with us! And this is almost three kilometers uphill! I have never heard any swearing or reprimands to the guests. There are rules and they must be followed, we are still visiting. For example, you can not hang underwear and swimsuits on public display, but not all of these rules are followed. And then no one made a remark to such guests! It takes about 15 minutes to the sea at a calm pace, past cafe Leon, where we loved to have breakfast, lunch and of course dinner! In general, we really liked Arthur and Stella's, next year only for them! Maybe we'll tear off for the New Year, we want mandarins and see the snowy peaks of the mountains! Thanks to Arthur and Stella for a wonderful stay at your house!

We were here in the summer of 2023. Very friendly hosts, clean, spacious courtyard, barbecue, kitchen, shuttle service and excursions, tables on the street, there is a place for playing with children. There are many trees on the territory, each room has its own shower and toilet, 5-7 minutes walk from the sea along an asphalt road. We really enjoyed our stay. Let's get back to you again 👍👍👍

Hello! We rested at the Amigo Guest house in 2023 from August 26 to September 19. We were very satisfied 👍The room is large and bright enough, which is not often found in Abkhazia. Bed linen set and in excellent condition 💯% Large bathroom (without foreign odors) A large clean yard (clean because it is regularly washed) An orchard is also quite large. The owners of the house are very attentive and hospitable people , we really felt like we were on vacation with close relatives, because we did not come for a week, the suitcase was full and we did not take bath towels , Larisa ( the hostess of the house) gave us towels) Stella and Arthur are very responsive people , they also did not ignore any requests))) I read Vicky's review and it seems to me that she was vacationing somewhere else, I completely disagree with her review. My friend with a four-year-old child reached the sea in ten minutes along an asphalt and illuminated path. It is completely unclear where you went to Vika (The lights are turned off in Abkhazia always and everywhere and it is not fair to say that the problem is only in Amigo. In general, if you are kind-hearted, then the people around you are the same))) I thank the owners of the guest house for the fact that our stay was wonderful 🙏Prosperity to you and look forward to visiting again 🤗

It's not the first time we've been to Amigo. The place is not located in the very center of Gagra, but you can walk to the cent leisurely for 30 minutes, or you can call a taxi for 200 rubles. Friendly Abkhazians will take you home and tell you a lot of interesting things. An asphalt flat road has been paved to the sea, along which you can go to the store for a cold beer and on the way sunbathe in a cafe where delicious chebureks are prepared. The beach is clean, not crowded, sewage does not drain into the sea, as it is in the center of Gagra. We are greeted by the hospitable hosts at the Amigo Guest House. We are already coming there as to our relatives. We have a wonderful huge kitchen at our disposal, with necessary utensils, an ironing board, an iron. There are several tables with benches in the courtyard, as well as a barbecue. A beautiful garden with subtropical plantings and beautiful, well-groomed flower beds. The owner of the house always has excellent wine and medicine for the disease "chacha" in stock.The hosts can conduct wonderful, unforgettable excursions.The hotel is not a five-star hotel, so it's silly to expect snow-white starched linen... Everything in this guest house is homely. The Internet is working. There is a TV in the room, as well as a toilet and a shower. For those who like a quiet, family vacation, this is the most wonderful place. Misha, Lara, Stella, Arthur, thank you very much for your hospitality and your hard work! We love you very much!!!

I didn't like it as much as possible! Upon arrival, the toilet under the lid is dirty, the shower curtain is rusty, slimy, there was paper garbage under the bed, the floors are dusty, TV and air conditioning barely work. The bed linen is washed to indecency. Constant power outages. There is no washing machine and dryers for residents! The laundry is hung on public display in the yard on a common rope. Paid Internet, which does not work at all! The mother and wife of the owner of this institution are quarrelsome, inhospitable women, constantly find fault with the tenants, allow themselves to immodestly (in Russian) discuss visitors in an unacceptable form. If you make a remark to these women, it's a huge scandal! The owner of the establishment, for one reason or another, can afford to go into the room, saying that "he was videotaping the process."
Another unpleasant moment turned out to be that it was at least 30 minutes on foot to the sea, through a deserted backwater. And the house itself is located in the outback, where the houses are destroyed in one.
Besides us, three families turned out to be dissatisfied upon arrival. I don't understand why there are so many enthusiastic reviews! Despite the fact that this is a fairly budget option (1100 per person), it should be a shame to rent such careless housing.
