A normal hotel.
1. Located next to the train station and close to everything.
2. A little pompous and small, but sufficient rooms (without condee)
3. There is Wi-Fi
4. Breakfast is not a buffet: porridge and yogurt will be brought to everyone, and the second course is to choose from. I had pancakes with ham and cheese - delicious. But vegans have nothing to do at this breakfast. Tea or coffee and bread will also be brought.
A standard, in general, hotel, open, obviously, in a former hostel. There is no elevator - we lived on the 3rd floor and couldn't climb there with a big suitcase.
Parking behind the hotel is huge, but paid. But there is enough space to park the car at the curb.
An excellent hotel for the price is not very expensive. Everything is there. Conveniently located in the center. A wide bed and a medium-sized bathroom. The breakfasts are standard. You can have a lunch menu without frills, but almost everything is classic. Then only the skill of the cook and how demanding we are. In short, it often happens that it is difficult to find available rooms in the city at all if you happen to visit, there will be no strong disappointment. You will be satisfied.
For this money, it's probably fine.
Of the advantages:
1) Convenient location. In the center next to the train station.
2) Good staff. They are trying to help with questions.
Of the cons
1) The room is standard in size. There is a TV, a refrigerator. But there is no sound insulation at all, you can hear them snoring (not even snoring) in the next room. There is no need to talk about trains passing nearby. Humidity was felt in the room, which was solved by ventilation. Well, the burgundy design is for an amateur.
2) Breakfast is oatmeal and fried eggs with sausages. I.e. you will not go hungry, but you will not get pleasure from breakfast either.
3) There is no elevator. It's not critical for me. But if your luggage or legs hurt, then it may be a problem.
In general, it's probably fine for this money. But in principle, you can look for something better.
A cozy hotel near the railway station. The room is clean, the bed and linen are good. Breakfast was included in the price, there is no choice, I ate something. A big minus is parking, located behind the hotel and you have to go around to the main entrance, they refused to open the back doors, had to drag suitcases around, there is no elevator. While I dragged myself to the room on the third floor, I got tired. And this is normal. I recommend.
The hotel is within walking distance from the railway station. The price for the room is simply gorgeous. The room itself is simple, but there are no complaints. Everything is clean and tidy. The beds are very comfortable. The room has everything you need (TV, refrigerator, air conditioning). There are no kettles in the room, but you can ask at the reception.
The only big disadvantage of the rooms is the sound insulation. She doesn't have a number between them at all. At 11 p.m., we had to listen to a neighbor's conversation on the phone for half an hour, and it would be fine if she screamed, but she spoke in an ordinary voice, but it was audible as if we were sitting next to her.
Also, the breakfast leaves much to be desired. For the very picky. There was a plate of oatmeal, an omelette, boiled sausages, several pieces of cheese and a loaf of butter, tea/coffee. At the same time, I had to wait for breakfast, because at 9 o'clock in the morning, it turned out that the cafe was on "special service". At the bar, the young man seemed to be doing us a favor, talking to us, told us to come in 30 minutes, an hour. It is advisable to talk about such "special service" at the reception in advance when registering at check-in.
Great hotel! Clean and tidy. A simple but hearty breakfast for a very affordable price. There is no elevator, but the building is not a high-rise either. I am amazed by the reviews about the lack of a Swede and the small area of the rooms. Have you guys seen the prices?!? For its price, the hotel is simply wonderful! Thanks to all the staff!
Very nice hotel, clean, cozy. The audibility is not the greatest. In the city center, next to the train station. We stayed for 2 nights, took rooms with breakfast. The breakfast was the same: sausages, porridge, omelette, cupcake, tea/coffee. But at the same time, on the first day it was very tasty, and on the second day there was another change of chefs and waiters and the impression was a little spoiled. Like dishes that are difficult to spoil, but they almost succeeded. Nevertheless, overall, the impressions of the hotel are very positive.
I've been there a long time, but I remember the main thing. Everything was fine, as for a great hotel, there are even inscriptions on the stairs about how useful it is to walk up the stairs. I lived on the second floor, so I didn't feel any particular problems, but there is no elevator, even though the hotel is 5-6 storeys high. It was also written that high-speed Internet was available, but I had terrible Internet on Xiaomi. But it is very close to the train station and close to local attractions.
For its price, fine. The location is convenient, there is everything you need. If you take it with breakfast, it's a great option for business travelers. It corresponds to its category, I was more than satisfied
Nice hotel. The location is great. We stayed for a few days with a cat (not all hotels are allowed with animals, and even more so with cats). Not a euro renovation, but everywhere is clean and without leaky sheets, etc. They were settled quickly, the girls at the reception are friendly and ready to tell everything.
BUT there is a huge disadvantage: there is electricity in the room if a card is inserted. There is a refrigerator in the room. If you are not in the room, then the refrigerator does not work and everything in it will die.
It's a great option for your money. The room is small and clean. Everything is neat. There are all the toiletries. The breakfast is modest, the products are of high quality (and here we do not forget about the price). Definitely the best value for money.
Nice hotel! The staff is polite and competent! For a small surcharge, you can take pets, we have a chihuahua. There is a cafe where it is delicious and not expensive! In general, we liked it, we are frequent guests in Belarus and now only in Amaks!!!
I stopped a second time. I am satisfied with the location. There is a train station nearby and almost all transport stops at the station.
Good administrators, attentive. There is everything for relaxation. Well, the price is fine.
Nice hotel near the railway station. The room is clean, spacious, and has a refrigerator. There is a shower stall in the bathroom. Slippers, hygiene kit - can be purchased at the reception for a fee. Minus - there is no air conditioner, plus - there is at least a fan. In the heat, especially in the rooms on the sunny side, like in a sauna. Breakfast is available from 2 menus, ordered in advance. Everything is delicious.
Perhaps the hotel is worth the money, but there are simple things that are missing here.
There was no tea or disposable slippers in the studio. And the mattress on the double bed was joined from two!? All night I rolled into the hollow between the mattresses ((
The refrigerator works like a locomotive in the silence of the night! At first I thought it was the sounds from the railway, then I got up and unplugged the refrigerator from the mains. The ordinary key and the card for electrics in the room are strangely combined. Or change the locks or turn off the lights.
Breakfast is very meager and without a choice (( The coffee machine barely works, and you can strictly take 1 cup of coffee or tea!?
In general, it's clean, but the interiors ((I felt like I was in a Soviet dorm in the 80s…
We were in transit at the hotel right on New Year's Eve. We booked at night, not hoping for anything.
The hotel turned out to be very good. Cozy, clean, warm, I would say that it is much better than the Jubilee hotel in Minsk, for example.
The cost of the room is 106 rubles and it includes breakfast!!!!! Wonderful. We are very satisfied.
The hotel is very cozy and comfortable. The staff is polite and attentive to everyone. The rooms are clean and tidy. There are enough hygiene products provided. The food in the cafe is very tasty.
The price corresponds to the quality. The furniture is new, the linen is clean, the contents of the rooms - there are all the necessary little things. A big minus: if there are people in the next room, then consider that you live in the same room. I spent most of the night listening to the conversations of the neighbors, who spoke in an ordinary voice. I recommend replacing the chefs, dinner and breakfast are tasteless.
In terms of price and quality, the hotel is excellent. I liked the bed linen, normal water pressure (even hot), close to the train station, despite the proximity of the railway - the room is quiet, there is air conditioning and a small refrigerator, even 👍🏻 breakfasts are like everywhere in simple Belarusian hotels - without a choice. They give porridge, an omelet, 2 sausages, coffee or tea to choose from. Everything is simple and tastes normal. If I'm still in Gomel, I'll stop again.
One minus, but an important one is the Internet. If you stop using the device for a couple of minutes (for example, you pause a movie), then it crashes from the hotel connection, and then it does not always find it. This is very inconvenient and annoying.
First of all, it is worth voicing a couple of points that may be controversial for tourists. First, the hotel is located in close proximity to the railway station, that is, sometimes you will have to fall asleep to the sound of train wheels. It's up to you to decide whether it's good or bad. The second point is that the hotel building is a completely converted five-story college dormitory - just look at the neighboring building nearby. And here a nuance arises - You will hear the neighbors behind the wall quite well (but we were lucky: most likely, we lived almost alone on the floor, but on the day of departure there was a check-in in the next room - you could hear what the neighbors were talking about without much effort behind the wall). The third point is that you better take your own slippers, because on the ground floor, for a fee, you will be offered a very distant resemblance of slippers (a weak cloth resembling a napkin, with a weak connection to the sole; of course, it will do for a couple of days, but they will not withstand prolonged wear). There is no elevator.
But the rest of the hotel can be praised - the room is generally well done, the cleaning was quite thorough; there is a hairdryer, floor fan, mini fridge, small TV. WiFi is also available, but with a rather weak signal. In the room, electricity was connected using a key card (although the question arose about the use of the refrigerator - on the one hand, it seems to work independently of this "system" (as we were told), but when checking in personally, our refrigerator was suspiciously warm. Therefore, we were given another key card so that the refrigerator would work constantly during our absence and in a couple of days it had already been "developed"). In short, the hotel is fully working out its 3 stars.
A small hotel. The staff is polite. Breakfast is on request. There is a parking lot. One of the disadvantages is the lack of an elevator. In general, I can recommend it, especially for those who are on a business trip or passing through.
For a short stop, the option is acceptable. The rooms are clean, good textiles (for whom it is important), there is a cooler in the corridor, vending machines at the reception - coffee, water, snacks. Even alcoholic beverages. Of the disadvantages, there is no elevator, and signs with reminders of the benefits of climbing on foot look like a mockery when you have to drag a suitcase up the stairs with you. There is practically nothing on the menu in the cafe. But what we managed to order is quite edible.
If you forgot your slippers, toothbrush, you can buy everything at the reception.
Friendly and helpful administrators, always ready to help solve customer issues! The rooms are not new... Mattresses that have probably lived for decades... Shower stalls with falling doors and some problems with draining... Plumbing is not new... Slow Wi-Fi... The audibility in the rooms is excellent. There is a water cooler on the floor. Curtains are black out. Basically clean. For the non-picky, it's great.
We liked everything. The room is clean and cozy. Cooler with hot and cold water on the floor. With the windows closed (double-glazed windows), you can't hear any noise from the street. There is an air conditioner in the room for cooling (or heating). The mattress with a mattress and pillow is comfortable. All that was missing were disposable slippers and a toothbrush with toothpaste in the hygiene kit. When we arrive in Gomel, we will be happy to stay at this hotel again!
The location is good-near the railway and bus stations, you can go in any direction (city). The staff is polite and caring. The rooms are clean.
Of the cons: high audibility, especially when the neighboring rooms and the corridor are vacuumed in the morning. There is also a special card on the key that is inserted into the disconnector in order for electricity to appear in the room. Accordingly, if you are not in the room, then there is no electricity. And finally, there is a large bed in the room, but there are 2 small mattresses on it, and personally I fall into this hole in the middle.
Personally, I concluded that it's not worth the money.
It's a terrible hotel. The administration and reception are not friendly, they don't care about anything. The rooms are average, no noise insulation. There was a children's team on 3 floors, but it felt like an inadequate herd that ran all over the hotel and screamed. The administration didn't care. I went to solve the problem myself. Breakfast pasta with 2 sausages. Parking is very small, along the road.
The hotel is located in the city center, there are both paid and free parking, viewed from all sides by surveillance cameras.
The room is very cozy, shower, hairdryer, towels, mini fridge,TV-everything for a comfortable and comfortable stay.
The cafe is on the 1st floor, the food is very tasty, cooked at home and with a soul. There is also a coffee machine near the reception.
The staff is very polite and friendly.
The hotel is very clean.
I really liked it!
Who will be passing through, I recommend this Hotel!
The room (studio) has poor plumbing. The toilet is wobbly, the faucet in the bathtub would not hurt to change, switches to the shower very badly and not the first time. The kettle is tired, it's time to change it, there's a plaque inside. There are no slippers. The air conditioner is more for the interior. There is no elevator, walk up the stairs to the 4th floor. Near the railway station, bus stops. Dionysus store with a large selection of ready meals and products.

A group of 50 students stayed there. Thank you so much for the hospitality, nice friendly receptionists. Very prompt check-in. The rooms are compact but cozy. A decent hotel in Gomel. Thank you very much!!!
Nice hotel. There is drinking water, towels are clean, the bed is soft. Delicious breakfast (no frills, simple and delicious). The staff is friendly. Of the disadvantages, there is a railway nearby. But with the window closed, it's still quiet.
Everything is very good. Friendly staff. A nuisance happened in the team, everything was solved quickly and efficiently. I recommend this place to everyone.
I liked the hotel. The room has everything. You can ask the maid for a kettle. Very clean!!! The food in the cafe is delicious. The cost is pleasant. Large parking lot behind the hotel. The bed linen is at a height. The maid is polite. If you need something, you can contact, solve all questions regarding the number. There is a large market within a five-minute walk.
A nice (homely) hotel, small but everything is there.
There are not enough staff, which affects the quality and speed of service.
It is very conveniently located.
The food is very simple, but you won't have to starve.
I wish you to develop and improve.
Thank you for the warm welcome.
Quite a good place in Gomel to spend the night) comfortable, calm. There was a nice young man at the reception, told about the city and gave recommendations. The room is clean!
Positive:
-located near the railway station
- the refrigerator is clean, I also found no dust on the surfaces, stains on the fabrics.
-for someone, there is a TV for ~ 30 channels, including Belarus 1, etc., music channels, entertainment STS, etc., as well as Amax Info. I only watched the last channel, because all the others destroyed the atmosphere of novelty..
-attention is paid to the little things: there is a shoe brush, a clothes brush, a shoe spoon, 2 rolls of toilet paper, shower gel, 2 extra microfiber cloths, 2 body towels and 1 foot towel.
- cozy
Minuses:
- I thought that the hot water was turned off in the hotel, but the reception replied that it would appear after a five-minute cold drain. In this case, fats come to them with crazy amounts and it is inconvenient for the guests.
- this leads to another problem: the heated towel rail does not heat and therefore you can dry things only in the living room on the pipe.
- the glasses are poorly washed
-the shakiness of the wall sconces, some hangers, the hose with the shower head are poorly twisted together, but it was possible to fix it yourself
- tasteless coffee despite the fact that his car makes it
Overall impression: I want to come back.
We came to Gomel for one day, the Amaks hotel was chosen over the Internet, as it is located next to the railway station. The place is quiet, which is important for a restful sleep. I really liked the staff, the girls at the reception, polite and good-natured, checked into the room very quickly. There is everything you need in the room, a bed, snow-white towels, hangers in the closet, a clothes brush, a spoon for shoes. Breakfast is included in the price. We liked everything, if we are in Gomel, then we will go back to Amaks.

The hotel is no frills (instead of an air conditioner, a fan, an old buzzing Biruss refrigerator) but everything basic for a short stay is available.Convenient location near the railway station, there is a cafe.Free non-gourmet breakfasts (oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausages, cucumber, bread and tea). But hunger can be comforted. There is no elevator in the hotel.
Not an expensive, but quite a cozy hotel. Breakfast is quite satisfying. A small TV and a small refrigerator For me was a minus, there was no corkscrew and free slippers in the room. I had to go down to the reception and buy separately. I'm already used to having them in the rooms. In the spring we plan to stay at this institution again.
Gomel welcomed us with warmth and festive decorations in honor of Victory Day! The comfort of the hotel and the attention of the staff added a positive mood from visiting this glorious Belarusian city! Thanks!
Quite a decent hotel. The staff is polite and friendly. The room is clean and tidy. I haven't lived to see breakfast yet, but I've already chosen one of the two options.
