We had a rest with friends in August 2024 at the Alsar hotel. I liked everything very much. The rooms are spacious, cozy and very clean. There is a spacious kitchen for meals on the territory of the hotel. For later arrivals, there is a huge, lighted recreation area in the backyard, where you can walk without disturbing other vacationers.There is also a barbecue area. The owners of the hotel are very hospitable, all guests are treated like family. Special thanks to Armen, who picked us up on his transfer from the airport and comfortably took us to the hotel. He also took us on all the excursions and showed us many beautiful places.
The sea is 10 minutes away. walking. There are a lot of shops and cozy cafes along the way.The sea is clean, warm, and the beach is wide. We rested in Alakhadze for the first time and fell in love with this hotel.We recommend it to everyone.Next year, we will definitely come back again. We rested for 5 nights on July 24! I liked everything. Everything in the room is working, clean and cozy. We lived on the third floor. On the first night, the seagulls staged a riot at 3 a.m. I thought it would be every night, but that night was exceptional, the rest were quiet.
The sea is about a 15-minute walk past a bunch of cafes. Next to the hotel there is a shop with normal prices, convenient!
There is a bus stop near the beach with a bus schedule to Pitsunda, Athos and Gagra.
If you want to go to Abkhazia, then it's a good option, I recommend it.
The sea is great, although I liked the beach in Pitsunda more. It is quiet and peaceful here in Alakhadze, even very calm...

We had a rest in Alsara in August 2024. I really liked it, I advise everyone. The hotel is good, everything is new in the rooms, everything is clean, air conditioning, shower, toilet. We stayed at the Alsar hotel this summer (July). We thank the hosts for the warm welcome! The apartments are located in a quiet area, new, cozy, clean, air-conditioned rooms. The territory is always clean, quiet in the evening, there is no loud music (of course we did not have enough dancing) there is a barbecue area in the backyard. The kitchen is equipped, there is everything. It is 10 minutes to the sea, on the way to it, on both sides there are various grocery stores, canteens and souvenirs, everywhere you can pay with a card. The village itself is quite lively, there are quite a few people on the beach, the coastline is wide, the sea is clean.
We were satisfied with the hotel, we will definitely return next year.

A great hotel, we are having a family vacation for the second time and hopefully not the last. . Everything is accessible, convenient, and comfortable. I came to Abkhazia for the first time, choosing this hotel. I liked everything very much! Transfer from the railway station and to the hotel with comfort, the hosts are very friendly, they showed everything, prompted. The room is comfortable, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, shower, toilet - everything looks decent! I recommend to relax with a child, there are many canteens within walking distance, which is good if you don't want to cook. Definitely, if you go back, then only to Alsar! First of all, many thanks to the hosts. They are accepted as relatives. We had a rest in Troy. Everything you need for a normal stay is there: air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, lockers, bedside tables. And the most important thing in each room is san.a node with a shower. It's not far to the sea. The beach is simple!!! Gorgeous!!! wide. There are absolutely no problems with choosing a place by the sea. There are a lot of shops and cafes on the way to the sea. We have been vacationing for the second year in a row and recommend it as a place for a normal human holiday. Thanks again.

We had a rest in June 2023. I liked everything! The rooms are decent, there are 4 or 5 dining rooms to choose from on this street, the sea is clean! Once even dolphins swam!!!
Everything is calm and safe!
There are vacationers who go to this city every year, and we met them there. There is no need for any travel agencies, the hotel owner himself takes you on excursions abroad.

Good afternoon! We had a family vacation in August 2022 at this hotel. The Alsar Hotel left a pleasant impression. We were warmly welcomed by the host, they placed us quickly and promptly. The rooms have everything you need. There is a large kitchen on site, fully equipped with everything you need, it is very convenient, especially when you are relaxing with children. We were provided with a transfer from the train station to the hotel, which is also very convenient. The hotel is located near the sea, about 800 meters (walking distance) it is a 10-minute walk along the street where there are cafes, markets where you can buy groceries. There are also shops right in front of the hotel. We were in Abkhazia for the first time struck by nature, took an excursion at the hotel as well and of course the amazing sea, clear and blue. The beach is wide, you can comfortably accommodate. We were satisfied, we will definitely come back, we recommend the hotel)

We lived from 07/29.24 to 08/03.24. We were promptly settled into room 18 on the 2nd floor.
The rooms are clean, spacious, there is no musty smell, the bathroom is also clean, there is no dampness and mold, the bathtub is well ventilated. The refrigerator, air conditioning, TV and boiler are working properly.
The bed linen and towels are fresh, but already a little tired, the pillows are feather.
After 11 pm it is not noisy, there are no drunken parties. The house is clean. The guests are mostly families or couples.
In the courtyard of the house there is a large communal kitchen with refrigerators, which can also work from a generator (electricity is sometimes turned off in Abkhazia). There is Wi-Fi, Parking for guests and a large barbecue area on the other side of the house.
The host Armen is very hospitable, also provides transfer services and takes you on excursions for an additional fee. He responds to any questions and requests, responds, and treats the guests very friendly.
There are disadvantages that do not apply to this hotel - in Abkhazia, many people burn garbage, and because of this, in the evening it happened that it stank very much from another courtyard, they had to bring a clothes dryer inside the room.
It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the sea at a calm pace.

We had a rest in August of this year. The room fund consists of 40 rooms on 3 floors. All 40 rooms have only three refrigerators (barely breathing) in the dining room on the 1st floor. The 4th refrigerator was told not to touch it - it is for the owners. And imagine what happens to these refrigerators when they are regularly opened and closed back and forth. The refrigerators just couldn't do their job, they didn't even have to dream about taking something cool out of the refrigerator, they prayed that the food wouldn't go missing, which as a result was gone anyway. And this is not surprising, among other things, the lights are regularly turned off in the village. At the same time, the hotel administrators, having a gas generator available, were in no hurry to turn it on - arguing that vacationers would complain. And the rest of the vacationers, who in the morning just can't wash and go to the toilet (because the water swings from the pump, and the pump, respectively, from electricity), don't give a damn!!! The rooms have mini-refrigerators, in which even a watermelon will not fit, let alone something more. The description of the hotel stated free Wi-Fi. But it turned out that he only catches on the ground floor and then in certain places. And such a load is imposed on this place from all over the hotel that the Internet constantly freezes. Well, you would write in the description of the hotel that you have the Internet on a certain bench. For example, we would look for another hotel. The rooms here are not economy class, so the service should be appropriate. A lot of people who lived in the neighborhood were unhappy, and I don't think they will want to return to this hotel anymore. I won't say anything bad about the administrators, polite, friendly people - it's not their fault in all of the above. I assume that my negative review will be blocked, but there is hope that the owners of the hotel will read, think about it and fix something. Putting Wi-Fi routers on each side of the hotel and solving the issue of refrigerators is not such a costly issue. And it spoils the impression of the hotel pretty much.

I lived with my family from 8.09.23 to 12.09.23. I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel. Everything is available for a comfortable stay, The room has air conditioning, toilet, sink, shower. There is a place to wash and iron. There is a large kitchen area with everything you need. I was also very pleased with the presence of a children's room. It is next to the kitchen area, which allows you to keep an eye on the child. The problem was solved in 5 minutes (really, in 5 minutes). Which is very fast. Special thanks to Armen from the bottom of my heart! The round-trip transfer was organized perfectly! I helped with the suitcases and waited when it was needed. Everything is sincere and human! There is something to compare it with. We took both at the hotel and "on the street". Now we will only take excursions through the owners of the hotel.
We came to rest twice. Recommended to friends.
The rooms are equipped with everything you need. The bathrooms are clean. The view from the windows is relaxing. The sound insulation is very good.
You can always cook your own food in the huge kitchen. We made coffee in the morning, and had lunch in a cafe, because we still came to rest))
Large refrigerators, sinks, stoves. Lots of dishes. Lots of tables. There is enough space for everyone.
And about the owners. The approach to the guests is felt from the moment of booking the room. They will tell you everything, explain it, recommend it. The transfer was waiting for us at the border. Everything is clear. The hotel accepted, answered all the stupid questions. We said goodbye to the owners as if they were relatives. Thank them very much.
Well, the sea. The sea is clean and warm. The sunsets are magical. The beach is huge.
Once again we are going to fly to rest!!! I advise everyone!!!
P.s.:For those who love the all-inclusive service, look for other options. Those who can relax themselves rest here, and do not expect to be relaxed by other people.

We stayed at the Alsar hotel by chance and did not regret it. Clean, cozy rooms, friendly and welcoming hosts of the hotel. A large kitchen with refrigerators, all necessary utensils. Of the minor disadvantages, the distance of the hotel from the sea is 600 meters. It's not very convenient with a small child. But the owner of the hotel provided a stroller for the baby and the problem was solved. On the way to the sea there are several canteens where you can have a delicious breakfast and lunch, the dishes are varied and fresh. The sea is a separate conversation! How clean, transparent, blue and warm it is! The rest in Alakhadze at the Alsar hotel was enjoyed by our whole large and friendly company! We will definitely return there next year! We have already started to recommend the Alsar hotel to all our friends and acquaintances who are going on vacation to Abkhazia.

We stayed at the Alsar hotel on the recommendation and did not regret a bit. We ordered a transfer from the border, and the owner of the hotel, Armen, met us - a very responsive and friendly person. The rooms are clean, with access to a shared balcony and a magnificent view of the mountains. The rooms are equipped with a TV, a small refrigerator and air conditioning. There is a large kitchen with all necessary utensils on site. The sea is clean, it is not very far from the hotel, walking distance of 10 minutes, along the way there are many cafes where you can have a snack.
We were satisfied with the trip, we will recommend the Alsar hotel to our friends.

The convenient location of the guest house, there are shops and canteens on the street, which is very important.
