We stayed for 5 nights, we really liked everything. In terms of price/quality ratio, it is an excellent accommodation option. The rooms are small, but clean and cozy, the location of the hotel is convenient: public transport stops (metro, tram) are within walking distance, shops, cafes, canteens are around. The breakfasts were monotonous, but delicious, we always ate too much, and we were pleased with the availability of hot dishes. The staff is polite, helpful, and friendly.

Nice, clean, cozy hotel! The staff is very friendly) breakfasts are from 8 to 10.30, quite tolerable, you will not stay hungry for sure. As we wrote earlier, a very good location, we did not even expect it ourselves, we chose it for the price in the first place. Cleaning is daily. The only disadvantage for us from the hotel is the incredible audibility, the windows are closed and open the same way (You can hear everything from seagulls to garbage collectors in the early morning. Right in front of the entrance to the hotel there is a Migros store and a bunch of food outlets, we went to one, I attach a photo. Excellent service, there are always free extras for the order, affordable prices, I highly recommend

I really liked the hotel. The room is small, but everything is clean. Towels were changed every day, shampoo gel was always replenished, bed linen was changed every three days. The breakfast buffet is excellent for a small hotel, you will not go hungry, everything is delicious, several hot dishes, snacks, salads, cereals, fruits, pastries, cheeses, sausages. There are friendly managers at the reception, there is a Russian-speaking Tufan, (if you wrote it correctly) a very good person. Thanks to all the staff of the hotel!
It is easier to climb up the hill to the tram stop, back. Everything is nearby: shops, cafes, attractions, the embankment.
We are happy with the hotel. I recommend.

Nice, cozy hotel near the historical center. Friendly staff, cleaning service every day. For breakfast, everything is very basic and very tasty and satisfying. The rooms are small, but everything is comfortable and convenient for the "overnight stay" mode. There is heating! It's not cold. The only negative was the smell of dampness and sewage. Overall, everything is fine.

Having lived in Istanbul for 9 days in three different hotels, I can say that Alphonse is the best of all for breakfast. They are more diverse here - salads, hot pastries, sliced cheese and sausages, eggs, breakfast cereals, cookies. There is no coffee, the coffee machine pours water slightly brown, and you can drink tea, it is delicious. The rooms with large windows facing the street are a little chilly in November. The staff is normal, the location is good, the food is wonderful, the room is clean, but a little tired. The room has a refrigerator, kettle, TV, safe. Oh yes! There is a mosque very close by and at 6:30 a muezzin reads a prayer through a mouthpiece. On the third day, we no longer paid attention to him.

We stayed for a week in a double room in December 2024. The staff is friendly and speaks good English. We paid in euros and charged the same amount as indicated on the website when booking. The room is small, but clean and in good condition, cleaning was done every day. The breakfasts are delicious, mostly a standard set of snacks and spreads, the hot stuff changes every day, there are cereals, toppings, dessert - in general, you can eat half a day ahead.
The ideal location is a 15-minute walk to the center, close to shops, currency exchanges, restaurants, and 5-10 minutes to get to the nearest metro or tram station. The only drawback is very good audibility from the street, even with the windows closed: constant car horns and prayers at 5 a.m. (near the mosque). But earplugs have completely solved this problem, if you have a good night's sleep, then it doesn't hurt at all.
In general, we are very grateful that we chose this particular hotel!

I really liked the hotel. The room was clean, cozy, although small, cleaning and changing of linen and towels every day. Hygiene supplies were also added every day. There is a kettle and a mini fridge in the room. The location of the hotel is such that services in mosques are not heard, for some it is important. Very good breakfasts, varied. There are friendly managers at the reception, some understand a little Russian and speak a little, you can ask them for tea or Turkish coffee at any time of the day, this is included in the price, sit down at a table on a comfortable armchair and have a drink before going out on your business or in the evening upon return.

A good hotel with its pros and cons. Sultanahmet district is 1.5 km away, 15-20 minutes on foot. There is no transport interchange near the hotel (metro, bus and tram). I had to walk to get away with something. The location of the hotel is on a very, very noisy street, keep this in mind, during the day everyone honks, yells, makes noise until late in the evening, at 21:30 a garbage truck arrives and the noise is like this… The hotel itself is compact but clean. I don't know about the daily cleaning, but the towels were changed every day. Good staff, especially the manager, the guy at the reception (unfortunately, I don't know his name). Good breakfasts: mini buffet, everything is delicious and homemade. The standard rooms are very, very small, I got # 104, it's certainly difficult to turn around there. The distance from the new Istanbul airport is 40 minutes. the ride. There are souvenir shops, mini hotels, a Migros Jet supermarket opposite, but we went to Shock nearby. There is an embankment nearby. The food is different, but in this district where it was possible to eat normally, we did not find any eateries, shawarma, we wanted a normal homemade meal. In general, the hotel is normal.

I rented this hotel two days before arrival, upon check-in I found out that I urgently need to return to Russia. I explained to the hotel staff, to which they replied that it was the season and they would not refund the money. As a result, we agreed to return half of the cost after showing the ticket. I cannot and will not advise this hotel, since the hotel staff turned out to be greedy and left nothing but disappointment, well, thank you for returning at least half, on the condition that I lived for 1 day, and booked for 2 weeks, two days before arrival, they have the same season)
The second disadvantage is the price, the rooms are very small, they will not turn around, provided that you paid 80,000 rubles in two weeks, my verdict is that it is not worth the money, unless of course you have lived your whole life in slavery, then yes, it will be a mansion for you.
Also, the cleanliness of the room leaves much to be desired, the room is dirty, I found someone else's hair on the bed when checking in, the drain almost does not work, apparently the cleaner cannot turn around with a big, big mop in a small, small room. The bathroom is a maximum of one and a half square meters. I chose the hotel based on reviews, as it was necessary to check in urgently, as a result, I can say with confidence that this is the first true review about the hotel, be careful. I also attached the response of the organization from whom I booked the room, at that time I had previously arranged for eviction with the hotel administration and left for the flight while I was driving in a taxi, I received such a response about a refund

A good hotel for its price.
A confident smile. The room was small, but with good ergonomics, places for things and a wardrobe. Floor-to-ceiling windows. Everything you needed was: towels, slippers, bath sets, hair dryer, safe. Cleanliness is at 4. Everything seems to be clean, but due to the fact that the room is already shabby with life, it seemed that it was not very clean.
The location is good. The area is commercial, dirty, but in the flavor of Istanbul. Nearby you can buy inexpensive food and groceries, as well as go to local eateries.
The main tourist center with mosques, trams and metro are 10-15 minutes away. I liked.
The staff is good, everyone speaks a little Russian.
Breakfasts: very tasty. Despite the fact that there was not so much choice for the hot, but everything was more than compensated by salads, olives, sliced, etc. Very tasty tea and coffee, as well as bread and pastries.

Istanbul, Alphonse Hotel, was very pleasantly received.
We confirmed the reservation, forgot to order a transfer, the Isa manager contacted us, arranged the transfer and dropped off where they would meet.
They took me to the hotel, settled in quickly, told me about the exchanger, a cafe where it is tastier, cheaper and where you can walk.
Excellent and courteous staff,

Towels were changed every day,
Bed linen every day or every other day,
The rooms and the hotel are very clean and comfortable.

We were in Istanbul for the first time, the rooms are small, the renovation is not the first freshness, although the cleaning does not leave a feeling of dustiness, etc. the whole area is absolutely specific beyond words, the market is intertwined with the production of consumer goods with an African lifestyle. It is better to rent in a good area, even further and more expensive from the center of the historical center. You can walk around this area, but not live. This is my opinion.
The breakfast is good. The staff is responsive and friendly. The hotel is 2 stars no more.

The location is not super convenient, but nevertheless OK: to the Grand Bazaar stop, go uphill across the street with shops in the basements of which produce what is sold in these very shops (from here it is very dirty and stinks). Hagia Sophia is 15-20 minutes on foot.
The hotel itself is normal, the staff is friendly.
The breakfasts are good, you can eat enough, there is some variety.
The room requires cosmetic repairs, but it is clean. Towels were changed every day.
The price/quality is consistent.
