Doya Almaty is a great place to spend time outside. The ticket price is not expensive. There are significantly fewer animals, namely monkeys and parrots, compared to the period five years ago. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: if you were going to the zoo on a day off, leave the car at home. Take a taxi. There is a huge problem with parking.

With small children, it is better to take transport (stroller or bicycle). As far as I know, the toilet is only at the entrance to the zoo, and there is usually a long queue. There are several mother and child rooms on the territory, as well as gazebos.

I liked the area , landscaping, fountains. All this is due to the long history of the zoo. I didn't like the lack of signs on many enclosures, or their inconvenient location. If the enclosure is large, then you need to go around it to finally find the sign. The zoo's inhabitants are in good condition, the coat and appearance are neat. There are places for visitors to relax, the toilet leaves much to be desired. In general, everything is good, I recommend you to visit.

Everything is very cool. They fed the elephant with their hands. We were in winter, so not everyone could be seen. But in principle, many animals have access. One disadvantage is that the giraffe was not hit because of the strong smell. But in principle, this cannot be avoided. But mostly we were satisfied. We walked until closing time and didn't have enough time to go around everything. There are toilets on site.

At the beginning it seemed very boring - all Predatory animals are hibernating, or we came after lunch... But the impression improved after visiting the marine life complex - it is very beautiful and "sticky". I also liked the wide variety of fauna. I was upset by the condition of the tracks - they stained shoes and clothes in the mud while walking... It would not hurt to indicate the optimal direction of movement around the zoo, so as not to wander...
