A very nice hotel, small, cozy, with a crazy view from the restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner, due to its size, the territory is tiny, the pool is one and small, I am not particularly pretentious about the kitchen and everyday life, but there are a lot of comments, a very unpleasant attitude of the staff at the reception, brightens up only Ruslan! The main building is very tired, the windows on the sea are still tolerable, but on the road and the mosque it's tin! Moreover, all you need to do is put normal at least two-chamber windows, for noise insulation! Also, the staff at the beach cooking is very frustrating, who just doesn't notice you and ordering pasta there, for example, is a whole story, but I love Egypt terribly!

The hotel is located in the bay of Sharm el Maya, the beach and the entrance to the sea are sand. The territory is well maintained, green. The rooms are outdated, but there are also after renovation. The rooms are cleaned every day (of high quality), the staff is friendly and courteous. There are a lot of them for any occasion. The hotel is suitable for a relaxing family holiday.

Having a rest(!!!) From 08/04/22 to 08/15/2018 with a child of 3.5 years old.It was taken out for the first time.If you understand why we eat to relax (sea + comfort), a solid 4 is only for the old renovation, but this makes the hotel affordable.We have something to compare it with , we were at 5 and 5+ .For those with children, I think it's perfect, moms can be calm about food, there will always be something that the child will eat and will not stay hungry!!!!
The second huge + is the sea and entering it (sand).Ice cream on the beach and by the pool and no slides!!!We were taking them to the SEA , not to a chlorinated pool ....Therefore, we do not climb out of the sea and it is deep enough .The staff are friendly and unobtrusive.

Feedback
So, let's start with the fact that all the bad reviews that you will read here are true! We do not know who writes these admiring reviews, but this is complete nonsense and does not correspond to reality.
The rating of the hotel is overestimated, its maximum rating is 5 out of 10, and then only for the beautiful view and good location: within walking distance of the Old Town, mango market and restaurants with delicious seafood. We recommend visiting, since the food at the hotel is monotonous and tasteless, for a week we got only one more or less delicious dinner, for which at least a few salads were prepared, before that you will find a maximum of separately chopped tomatoes, cucumbers and cabbage.
The rooms are terrible, old, shabby plumbing, a split toilet and a small shower tray over which they hang a curtain (they hung it for us only after two requests, initially there was no one). This curtain does not help, the whole bathroom is flooded with water.
Cleaning is superficial. Even leaving a tip, the most you'll get is a made-up bed and a water refresh. The floors were obviously washed reluctantly, the dirt on the floor remained after cleaning.
Animation - consider it missing. However, after talking, we seem to understand the problem: the hotel is full of pensioners who are always asking to turn off the music. Therefore, the point in the description that "the hotel is suitable for young people" - forget it! There are no young people there, in the evenings after 21:30 the hotel simply dies out and there is nothing to do there.
Staff - this is the first time we have encountered such rudeness and indifference in all-inclusive hotels. The bartenders look at you as if they are doing you a huge favor, obviously trying only for those who immediately lured them with money, mainly for foreigners. You will literally have to beg the staff in the dining room to put you more meat or fish than the small pieces that they put with a grin at the beginning.
The hotel does not have a beach reef at all. The only way to enjoy the red sea is to go to the wild beach next to the hotel. But you will have to go through a garbage dump and a path of cobblestones.
Bottom line - we strongly advise against choosing this hotel for a holiday in Charm! We bought into a lot of positive reviews when choosing and regretted it very much!

We rested for a week in the middle of August. The hotel is a decent 4*. The food is good, chicken, turkey, beef, quail, goose, there were squid and shrimp. Desserts are worse than before. They ate too much melon and local dates from fruits. A variety of side dishes and vegetables. Various drinks to choose from, alcoholic cocktails, wine, beer in abundance. The animation is good. Wi-Fi in the room and on the territory, does not catch on the beach. You can go down to the beach by 146 steps or by elevator. The beach is excellent, there is a smooth entrance and sand, there are rocks where there are more reefs. The fish are visible to the naked eye. There are enough sun beds, beach towels are free. The sea is warm and clean. There is a bar on the beach. They give ice cream from 13 to 15.00. The rooms are outdated, the plumbing leaves much to be desired, but we didn't pay attention, that's not why we came. Towels are cleaned and changed every day. But the bed linen and towels are old, washed with stains. The staff is polite, almost everyone speaks Russian, and the service is good. The sun is very active, burned out instantly even with cream. The rest is good, but I think it is very expensive due to the current situation. The plane flies to Moscow for almost 6 hours. We flew Ai Fly, we were fed, drinks. Thank you, Egypt, for the unforgettable experience.

Great hotel, but expensive. We managed to catch a good discount . The water park is gorgeous. Can you roll all the slides in 11 days!? Walking distance to the "Old Town" excellent sea wherever you go.
I highly recommend it with the kids. Adult slides are also available, but here ... you need to be "not timid"

I must say right away that all the negative reviews about this hotel are TRUE.
My wife and I have never seen such a "hotel" anywhere, although we have traveled to 11 countries and in Egypt for the 9th or 10th time (I don't remember exactly) so there is something to compare it with.
I bribed the label of Picalbatros, although this "hotel" is related to a very good network of Albatrosses, only in name!
This "hotel" was bought by Albatross, just to take there to the beach, guests of 2 Albatrosses standing on the 2nd line, next door, Albatross Blue and Albatross Aquapark.
All the positive feedback about this "hotel" is either a hotel order or from people who have never traveled further than their village village.
The beach of this "hotel" is a narrow (about 15 meters), rocky, dirty strip, about 50 meters long, between the sea and the rocks, with an old, just trash-killed inventory, two "swill dispensers" (the tongue does not turn to call it a bar with drinks), this is any swill in 50 grams. plastic (including dilution of "beer"), by the way, is diluted in this "hotel", any and so very poor quality and alcohol, absolutely all so-called "drinks".
Food and the same drinks are a separate story, for people who lose weight hard (including trips to resorts), everything is possible and will suit or, again, there is nothing to compare it with. What is normally made meat in this "hotel" is not known at all, at best it will be stewed chicken, in 1-2 variations.
Also, everything that is on the territory, including furniture, plumbing, conduits, etc. in the rooms, inventory on the territory, plumbing, etc., should have been thrown into the trash, already 10-15 years ago, everything is dirty, killed, but it's all "repaired", "painted" and further exploited, or rather, further He's suffering.
The only way to stay in this "establishment" is a really beautiful view of the bay and the Old Town and a beautiful coral reef 400-500 meters to the left of the beach of this "hotel".
In no case, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SETTLE IN THIS DUMP!

I stayed at this hotel in May 2022.
The hotel is old, the rooms of the main building require renovation. Problems with air conditioning; problems with water.
The animation is weak, but still there. They sing live from time to time in the evenings, which I really liked. The food is good, as they say, you will not be hungry. At lunch and dinner, in addition to other grilled dishes, however, everything is overcooked. Meat, in any form, is not chewed. So, we ate chicken and fish (telapia). There are two types of soups for lunch. Side dish: potatoes (periodically semi-raw, which is interesting- in any form: fried, boiled, even mashed potatoes; pasta and rice. There were practically no fruits - it was not the season; there were dates, apples, oranges, bananas and melon was given several times. Yes, they brought strawberries once. There are pastries.
Now about the good stuff. The hotel is located on the first line. The view is simply gorgeous. Descent to the sea: either by elevator (there are two of them), or by stairs (someone went for sport, but I didn't even try). The entrance to the sea is sand (large). There are no hedgehogs, no slippers are needed. Closer to the buoys there are rocks where fish swim. You can also go to the "wild beach"- to the left along the shore (you need sneakers), there is coral and many different fish. The coastal area of the beach is designed for three hotels (buses bring two fives), so there were always enough sun beds. There are two bars on the beach and a place where you can have lunch (fast food). The staff on the beach was active: the cleaners were constantly cleaning something; the waiter from the bar to the left periodically walked between the sunbeds and offered drinks; the bars were quickly served. The location of the hotel is very good. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Old Town, if on the road, to the left of the hotel. You can walk along the shore, between the hotels, but I didn't go there. If to the left, and then right on the road, 15 minutes on foot, to the Mango market. I highly recommend it. A large selection of different products and good prices: cheaper than in other places. If you leave the hotel on the road and turn right, then 10 minutes and you will see a gas station on the other side, there is a local market nearby. The choice is large, the prices are good, but they only accept pounds.

The three of us had a rest in Albatross Charm from 15.11 to 06.12, the hotel is just super. And the first line, and everything is clean (even bothered with cleaning) they clean it so clean that it makes no sense every day. The food to choose from is totally awesome, especially sweets. The hotel itself is small, it is 100 times better than those that are huge nearby, you know where to go and where everything is, we came like many not to shy away from the hotel, but to the sea and see the sights of Charm. The receptionist Mohamed is generally cool, he met us, put us in a room better than we ordered and was always kind to us. The local on the beach was always chosen next to the lifeguards, special thanks to Mustafa the tall guy, he takes his job very seriously and more than once made remarks and jumped into the water to help the kids, whom the stupid parents left unattended. In general, the hotel has a solid 5, we will return here again. Thank you so much for the rest. There is a disadvantage that guests from the other two pass by our hotel to the sea, this is not a problem, let them pass, but for the guests of our hotel, they come to them for money, if they did so, then it was necessary that the payment was a one-time payment for the entire period of stay, and not for each visit. After all, the owner is alone, is it not enough for him????

We were forced to come here for a day. The hotel could be beautiful with this view and the first line. But... the rooms are dirty! Very dirty. The hotel is presented as a 4* on the Booking page, but the hotel itself is not aware of it. The manager at the bar said so, laughing, that how many stars in this hotel should be asked at the reception, maybe they know. The food is not very tasty! There is no variety. Many dishes are too salty. Instead of meat, scraps from it: veins, cartilage....
Condees don't all work. After being asked to clean the room, it didn't get much better. But there is a good cleaning issue for many hotels in Egypt
Positive: sea view, beach nearby, good animation (friendly and cheerful)

There are several restaurants, but only the main one is fully operational for the period of coronavirus restrictions. The beach is below - it can be reached by elevator or stairs (the height feels like 9 floors). The view of the bay from the height is beautiful. Of the disadvantages, the beach is small, with several hotels. I'm a little late and I can't find a sunbed anymore (summer period). The entrance to the sea is sandy, with a shallow depth. The reef is frankly a bit poor, without a colorful extravaganza
