The hotel is a good 4. The main building of the room is terrible. We changed it to a bungalow. Normal. The food is good, there is everything, fish, meat, chicken. But there is a problem with air conditioning in restaurants. It is comfortable to sit only in the rooms. Drinks are not cooled either . I won't drink another glass of warm wine. My favorite hotel. A stunning beach, there is a sandy entry into the water for kids and a wild beach with a beautiful reef (just take special shoes). The food is very tasty, the staff speaks Russian and, in general, always went to the meeting. They gave us a great room with a view of the pool, although the standard was written on the voucher.

There is no balcony, there is nowhere to dry swimsuits, the bathroom is just terrible, the shower curtain is small, there is plenty of water on the floor after the shower. The floor is cold and tiled, I asked for slippers, but they didn't give me any. Very nice view of the bay. If you go in winter, you can swim all day, there is practically no wind. I have been to this hotel three times already: 2021, 2022 and 2023. I really like the staff, the food, the view of the Old Town and the area itself, and most importantly - the gorgeous sea!!! A long comfortable beach, sandy bottom, fish, corals, water entertainment and gorgeous animation (it was in 2023 that animation became really good thanks to the Mondi team!) I'm already a VIP guest, so they filled my mini-bar, brought a plate of fruit to the room, carried baklava and other goodies. Very pleasant. I love this hotel!

A hotel for couples and companies. Not really for children, there is no water park and slides, a playground in the sun, just about nothing, the pool is one for everyone, small but clean. Next to it is very small for kids. Great animation and a foam party once a week. The food is not very varied, but everything is delicious. And meat and vegetables and pastries. We had a rest in early August at this hotel. We flew from AlMasria, the flight to Egypt was delayed for 30 minutes, and back for 3 hours. Be sure to bring socks with you, you will have to take off your shoes and walk barefoot on the floor on the return flight. By the way, hand luggage at the airport in Egypt was inspected three times.
The hotel is a solid 4. The territory is small, well maintained. Very beautiful views of the Sinai Mountains, the sea, the Old Town, as the hotel is on a hill. The food is normal, typical of Egypt. Wi-Fi is best caught in the main restaurant and in the reception area. We took a SIM card from the local Orange operator at the airport.
As written, the furniture is old, but not critical. The air conditioner makes terrible noise, be sure to take earplugs if you sleep lightly. The air conditioner was constantly leaking, they called the master at the reception, but did not fix the problem. They did not change the number. We lived in bungalow #3038, there were 2 terraces with chairs and a clothes dryer. According to the location, this is a good room, it was very quiet, the neighbors are only on the side and there is an elevator to the beach next to it.
It takes 15-20 minutes to get to the Old Town on foot, bypassing, if you go through the beach, it's faster, but at night the passage through the beach is closed.
In the Old City, they went to the mosque, it's free, women need to wear a long dress with sleeves and a headscarf, everything is given out there for free. But there's not much to see there, you have to take off your shoes before entering the mosque.
We went to Naama Bay for $3 via the iDrive app. Ordinary taxi drivers want 5-7 dollars for the same trip.
There are retail outlets near the Albatros Aqua Blue Hotel within walking distance of the hotel. There is a Russian pharmacy and a Point Market supermarket, with normal prices. The Mango Market store is further away, there is no point in going there. We bought all souvenirs, tea, coffee in Naama Bay at the Fix Price store. Mangoes are there for a dollar per kilogram.
I liked the sea, it's clean, there are always free sun loungers on the beach. The beach to the left of the elevator is full of fish, but there are few of them. If you go further where the guard's booth is and persuade him to let you through, you will see a live reef with lots of fish. Keep in mind, there are no rescuers and buoys, all responsibility is on you. It is better to go there at 8-9 in the morning.
The beach to the right of the elevator is normal. Be sure to take corals with you, there may be rocks on the bottom anywhere on the beach. And the sand on the beach is unpleasant, hard, with pebbles.
What I didn't like was going from the beach to the sea! Basically, it's just a pile of wet stones, it's unclear why the administration won't make a normal descent.
The price of the tour includes
attending the Neverland show. It's quite watchable, beautiful costumes and dancing, you can go. The food is not very good during the show, everyone is served the same thing.
Tourists, take care of the reefs! Don't break them off! And be sure to use sunscreen on physical filters - titanium dioxide and zinc, because creams on chemical filters destroy the ecosystem of the sea.

I liked the hotel! The food is very varied! A lot of vegetables (fried, stewed, fresh), fruits, meat, fish (always the same, but cooked differently), legumes...Every day in the evening some kind of dish is cooked on the grill. In 9 days, there were shrimp 1 time, tuna 1 time! Beef every day in different variations)) Desserts are few and not tasty (I don't eat them), mostly cakes..The staff is sooo friendly, always ready to help. The restaurant is always clean! Dirty dishes are being cleaned here, tables are being washed! The rooms, of course, require renovation, but everything is in working order! The animation is so-so..I would put it down to the cons.. sluggish..The evening shows are boring, but it didn't overshadow our wonderful vacation😃 We were traveling beyond the sea and the sun...moooree is gorgeous..clean...fish..there are reefs nearby, you can swim, see corals, I saw a stingray, a sea urchin, huge shells and many many different beautiful and unusual fish! The rest was a success!

We vacationed with a family of 3 people from July 6-20, 2024. The room was originally with a view of the garden. But! When we saw him, we were shocked. It consisted of three small rooms, each room had air conditioning, a refrigerator, a kettle, a hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel, a bunch of towels, and a private exit to the terrace. Despite the fact that the hotel has old furniture, plumbing - everything worked. We were satisfied with this option and we settled in. The room is cleaned daily, even to the point that bed linen is changed every day. But we didn't need it, so they refused to clean it. The staff is very friendly, not annoying! There was always enough space in the dining room, on the pool and on the beach. The food is quite edible, there is always fish, chicken, beef, shrimp. Fruits and drinks also pleased me. It's not expensive, of course, like in 5 stars, but everything is at a decent level. There are no complaints about the hotel and the staff. But excursions from anex tour are something! There are a lot of questions and no answers from our individual guide. We took a tour of 7 wonders for 100 bucks per person. We had to go in the morning to the sands (canyon, quadriceps, camels), and after lunch a yacht with diving stops and the Egyptian Maldives. In fact, in the morning, while the weather was not very hot, we were taken on a yacht. There was a diving stop (those who wanted to dive). I'm not interested in this and I was waiting, like many girls, for the Maldives! But, the second stop was just for swimming in the sea. To the question to the guide who was with us on the tour, when will we get to the Maldives? He was at a loss, which Maldives? And I got out of it as best I could. I called our hotel guides, found out something, but we arrived at the port without seeing the Egyptian Maldives. They were upset. But the tour continued and we were taken on Bedouin jeeps to the sands to ride quadricycles. It was already a decent heat, 45-47 degrees for sure. It was possible to ride quadricycles only in pairs. One at a time for a fee, as they said on the spot. Children cannot sit on their own, and in front of an adult, only from the age of 16. My daughter was riding with her husband (she is 16 years old), but I did not get a pair. Therefore, I had to go with the owner of the quadric. But! he didn't let me steer, he put me back, and he was driving. What the hell do I need such rides for? I wanted to go for a ride myself, and I went on this tour confident that I would go for a ride. My driver explained to me That I could not and would not be able to drive, and I did not even have the opportunity to try. In short, the quadrics upset me too, as did the yacht. Camel riding took about 3 minutes. One small circle. Well, God be with them. As a result, according to what criteria the 7-hour tour was chosen, we did not get what we wanted. It was possible to save money. Take a yacht for 25 bucks and quadrics for 17 and that's it! There is nothing else to see on this tour. And this is not only my opinion, but the opinion of the whole group with whom we went on the tour. Back at the hotel, I wrote to the hotel guide about the discrepancy between his stories and the realities. But, he said that he would clarify why it happened to the guide who accompanied us on the tour. But I'm still waiting for an answer. In short, if it weren't for these unpleasant moments with the tour, everything would be great! And so, the sediment remained precisely because of the tour operator ANEX TOUR. I recommend the hotel, but I do not recommend excursions. Because it's not going to be the way the guide tells you anyway. We did not go to Cairo, because the road takes 6 hours in one direction, but in fact 9-10 hours in one direction. The hotel is within walking distance from the Old Town (Old Market) with a beautiful mosque and a square. You can go down to the beach and walk along the beach line. It takes longer to walk through the city. Merchants are annoying. But you can ignore it and just walk around. There are several reefs that have many different fish. But there are also moray eels. If you don't anger them, don't climb into their hole, then they don't touch. Rescuers are constantly making sure that they do not swim behind the buoys. There is a bar on the beach, where pasta, pizza, and meat are cooked during lunch. There is a stage in the form of a ship, where there is activity (foam party, disco). There is a volleyball area. There are several kiosks on the beach with masks, fins, corals and perfume.
Excursions
There is no point in taking a quad bike tour. 30 dollars, but all quadric are "killed" and constantly go deaf. There is no organization.

The choice of this hotel was made because of its proximity to the sea and its reef.
We arrived at 9 pm, settled in the main building on the 4th floor with a view of the road - this is the worst option. There are no balconies in the rooms with a "garden view" (or rather on the road), there is nowhere to dry. Although the room is large, two-room. At the expense of plumbing and furniture, we were ready for everything, having read reviews. They did not agree to change the room for an additional fee, referring to the fact that everything is occupied. At night, the outdoor air conditioner made so much noise that they had to demand relocation. And the room was found: at 2 a.m. we moved into a family bungalow, lived there for two days, the air conditioners were also noisy, then we were moved to a smaller bungalow. In general, we changed 3 numbers. In the latter, the air conditioner worked tolerably, even the shower curtain was to the floor, and water did not flow throughout the bathroom during washing. It was the height of comfort compared to the previous rooms))
The bungalow is good to live in, quiet, you can't hear the neighbors, there are terraces.
We went swimming on a wild beach to the reefs, there is a great variety of fish. Apparently, they are being fed, because they immediately surround and even try to grab their fingers, but this is on the main beach. We have seen stingrays and squid several times. We bought a silicone case and took pictures under water just on the phone. In addition to fish, a pack of good-natured stray dogs lives on a wild beach. They meet everyone who comes, ask for food, bathe. It is better not to put clothes on the ground - they will mark them.
I swam in the pool once out of curiosity. The water is very warm, it smells strongly of bleach. Finely.
I liked the food in the main restaurant of the hotel, the Italian, of course, is a parody of Italian cuisine, but you can try it. I really liked the sweet tortillas with fruit from the grill. It was better than sponge desserts. Ripe and fragrant figs, guava, persimmon and grapes were appreciated from the fruits.
From the animation, you can watch Latin American dances, they happen 3 times a week, different groups perform. Our tour price included an imposed service - a visit to the Neverland show (7 thousand rubles) at the Albatross Aqua Park hotel nearby. Dinner is served with a lot of meat, drinks, dessert. It is better not to have dinner at your hotel before leaving. The show did not cause any special emotions. The costumes are beautiful, but in general it's noisy, stupid, and the guitarist is opening for almost an hour.
The hotel has a good location - the sea is 2 minutes away, the old town with the market is a 10-minute walk away. A snorkeling mask can be bought for 7-8 dollars (at first they ask for 17).
The atmosphere in the hotel is calm, vacationers are mostly Russian-speaking. The staff is friendly, understands Russian and speaks a little.
I think the rest was a success, because we got what we came for - a warm, transparent, beautiful Red Sea with a cozy bay of El Maya.
The only drawback is the number of rooms.

for the 2nd time in this hotel, I brought my retired mother to rest. I was at this hotel for the first time in 2021 with my husband (actually the 3rd time in Egypt). I didn't like it: 1) Low-level service (it became worse than it was), because the selective attitude of most of the bartenders / waiters to the guests and the obvious external dissatisfaction of many of them with their work - someone did not even want to approach because of this (dissatisfied faces; unwillingness to pour what they wanted; pour someone less, for some more; also the cooks - the same shrimp for someone 5 pieces, for someone a full plate). There are also good staff among the guys, thanks a lot to them! To the bartender at the pool - Hazem, Thank you very much! Always dancing, smiling and cheering up the guests! 🏖️🫶 The reception has a separate "hello" - framed! I asked to change 50 dollars, the day before departure - we exchanged some of the old bills from 1996, which were not accepted at the airport for overweight luggage! We barely left with what we bought! Terrible consumer attitude! It was very unpleasant. But everyone always smiles hypocritically! 2) The rooms urgently need renovation. At least for everything to be new: a falling off leg on the refrigerator and a refrigerator that does not close properly, old furniture, running taps, poorly draining water in the shower and a prehistoric shower curtain! I took my mother to Turkey earlier, I was ashamed after Turkey for such a quality room (Spanish shame, apparently). We were settled into a large room near the pool, I also clarified: would it be noisy from the animation of the pool. They convincingly said that no, it won't be heard! Everything was heard! If you like silence, ask for a separate bungalow further from the pool (5001, 3015, etc.). 3) The animation is monotonous: on every day of the week there are the same cartoons for children and the same evening shows with the same artists! Why do people who have been resting for more than a week watch the same thing?! "Live" music is also unpleasant to listen to - under plywood and the same songs every time in the same order, as if there are no other songs. the 2nd time listening to the same thing is also not a thrill. The lack of animation according to the specifics of the country: where are oriental dances or something else that conveys the atmosphere of magical Egypt?! 4) The food is delicious, but also monotonous. There are few seafood, and when they are, they are given out in small portions (shrimp 5 pieces each). I can come like this 10 times, but the point is: give me as much as I ask, I'll eat and I won't come again. I'll still come as many times as I need to (more than I can, I won't eat anyway; the same goes for drinks). I didn't really find snack snacks anywhere except the beach. We only had lunch on the beach. It's not pizza, it's pita bread with what's left in the kitchen as if (dry). In 2021, there was still pizza. On the beach, the snack is the same every day and nothing tasty except fruit. I also liked the juices: they became better than they were. Especially from guava. There used to be an upi or an invite. 5) A photo shoot with a photographer is a horror! I will never participate again. All the time he was pushing and saying, "what is your first time?!" I showed my displeasure that I didn't get up the way he said. No one warned in advance that underwear would be visible in the rented dress and that the payment rate in rubles was different from the payment in dollars. In general: a lot of information was not finished; it was explained by the fact that no one asked (how can you ask if you don't know what it might be - it's unclear). When choosing a photo, the photographer sneezed, snotted, it was unpleasant to be around. Outwardly, he is also an untidy photographer. The photos turned out great, but the process itself is terrible, as if mud was poured over it. 6) feeding from their airlines: a mini loaf and 2 pieces of sausage, it's trash. Well, at least some juice, water and tea/coffee. Like it: 1) Beautiful view from the cliff! 2) some guys from the staff (I wrote above). 3) a good beach with a gentle entrance and fish, but: at low tide, there is an unsuccessful entrance to the sea, where you can kill yourself (wobbly stones). 4) a lot of cocktails to choose from - 9 pcs. 5) the Neverland show was included in the package, I also really liked it. 6) the proximity of the old town is a 20-minute walk, where you can eat seafood in a fish restaurant and, in general, feel the atmosphere. I recommend fishmarket. Farsha, by the way, can also be reached on foot. 7) the presence of an ATM in the hotel, where dollars can be exchanged for pounds at the normal exchange rate. It is more profitable to pay in pounds. 8) the very idea of bungalow rooms is cool, it would be comfortable to live there if they were newer, really. 9) WiFi is good everywhere, especially near the reception. In general: if you are looking for impressions of a beautiful view and a pleasant beach, then here. Those who love nature and large green areas will be bored, I think (only if you go somewhere outside the hotel). You will create the atmosphere for yourself. Will I come back for the 3rd time?! Don't know. At this price, it is unlikely. We flew to the Emirates at almost the same price

The food is varied - for every taste.
The rooms (I lived in a bungalow) are quite comfortable. It was the 3rd time at the hotel, but the first 2 visits were in November and, as it turned out, it is very important, because in November the water is comfortable and not as hot as in July (+38) already at 7 a.m.
The territory is beautiful and well maintained.
If I go to Egypt, then only in autumn and winter and to this hotel. There have been 6-7 times in Egypt and this hotel is the best in terms of price and quality......

A good hotel, with a good location, there is a reef next (200-300m) to the beach, the old town is 5 minutes away, the food is not very diverse, but everything is there. You definitely won't stay hungry.
The rooms are well cleaned, the furniture is old, the bed has a new mattress. The staff is polite. Beautiful views from the hotel's territory to the bay.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The bungalows are worn out, but quite. Take the elevator down to the beach. You can also go up the stairs, the difference is about 30m. Good afternoon! I want to write a review about this hotel! To warn people not to be led to the Albatros grid. We returned yesterday and today was the first night out of 9 when we slept in silence. The rooms are dead, the air conditioning is old and very very noisy, so not only that, it also sparkled after 3-4 hours of operation, and so in many rooms the equipment is very old. But the highlight on the cake is the huge cockroaches in the room (of course they were poisoned and said that they accidentally got into the room through the sewer, but the fact is they are very big and unpleasant. There is no food, but you can say the usual. The bartenders are excellent, they don't extort, they pour and smile. The sea is warm, you have to go to the pipes on the reef, it's to the left when you get out of the elevator. I read the reviews they write that the sea covers all the shortcomings of the hotel, to be honest, there are no giant cockroaches and noisy condos at night it is not possible to block, a dead and old hotel. Recommended for a one-time trip there, we will definitely not return.

We had a rest in September 2023, the hotel is not bad, it's good. Well-groomed, clean, 100% food is always a large assortment. The SEA is FULL of coral, take it for sure, there is a call without them, but it's better with them, you will see the beauty of the underwater world. The animation is excellent both at the hotel and at the sea, foam parties, karaoke, contests, water polo, aqua aerobics are provided for you, the only minus is bad furniture. BUT I still recommend this hotel to everyone.
