Disgusting hotel, we did not expect this. Before the trip, we read reviews about this hotel, there were both good and negative ones, not without this. Upon arrival, a complete disappointment in the vacation and a drooping mood. The hotel is a wreck, what kind of four would pull on a three. I am attaching a photo. Everything is really old and worn out, it cannot be put into words, you just need to see it. Kondei is working with the last of his strength, he can't cope, it's not possible to breathe in the room, and sleeping is one torment.

I liked the hotel! The food is very varied! A lot of vegetables (fried, stewed, fresh), fruits, meat, fish (always the same, but cooked differently), legumes...Every day in the evening some kind of dish is cooked on the grill. In 9 days, there were shrimp 1 time, tuna 1 time! Beef every day in different variations)) Desserts are few and not tasty (I don't eat them), mostly cakes..The staff is sooo friendly, always ready to help. The restaurant is always clean! Dirty dishes are being cleaned here, tables are being washed! The rooms, of course, require renovation, but everything is in working order! The animation is so-so..I would put it down to the cons.. sluggish..The evening shows are boring, but it didn't overshadow our wonderful vacation😃 We were traveling beyond the sea and the sun...moooree is gorgeous..clean...fish..there are reefs nearby, you can swim, see corals, I saw a stingray, a sea urchin, huge shells and many many different beautiful and unusual fish! The rest was a success!

The hotel is located in a very beautiful, picturesque place, in front of you are the Sinai Mountains, the sea bay and a view of the old town. The staff at the hotel is friendly, partially understands everything in Russian. There are 3 bars on site, drinks for every taste. The entrance to the sea is hollow, you can swim barefoot, there are several beautiful reefs. The room is old, but the split system is new and silent, cleaning every day with a change of linen and towels.

Great place! Gorgeous views, friendly staff and a reception that solves issues without extorting tips, delicious, fresh, simple food, a cozy room with air conditioning, a spacious hotel area. An interesting show Neverlend, which was included in the ticket price. The location is great! Close to the Old Town, Mango market, you can safely walk on foot. The hotel is a copy of the boarding house.
Young people and children will be bored, the animation is very weak.
The food is modest, the choice of food is meager, but you will not stay hungry, what is grilled is given in portions.
The furniture and equipment in the rooms and bungalows are all tired, they work on their word of honor. To change a standard room to a bungalow, they ask you to pay $ 80 extra and sign a document on the free provision of a bungalow, here someone agrees for how much (I heard prices from $ 20 to $ 80 are given). But the furniture and equipment in the bungalow are just as tired.
All alcohol is poor in quality, if you want bottled beer, prepare tips and at least $ 5 a day.
The sea is excellent, the buoys do not have nets, boats with entertainment are constantly sailing along the buoys, but they will not be able to have fun on them because it is from another hotel and the passage along the beach is blocked. The passage to the wild reef for tourists of the hotel was closed, even for money they are not allowed, tourists are now taken there for a fee from other hotels. A lot of garbage (glasses, bags, watermelon cores, cigarette sticks, etc.) thrown from pleasure boats periodically washes up to the shore.
You can get to the old town for $ 2 by local taxi, if a taxi is from the hotel, then $ 6 one way, 15 minutes on foot.
By a free taxi in both directions from the Mango market, I can say that they will take you back to the hotel for free if you collect $200 worth of purchases. It is better to order online from them via WhatsApp., they will bring you directly to the hotel, check and pay.
Basically, everyone accepts dollars, they refuse euros, it's not clear to me.

We were at this hotel from 5.01.23 to 13.01.23, we chose the hotel for a very long time, as we were with a small child and really wanted not to get poisoned and spend a normal rest, calm, so to speak, would be better. Of the cons, old furniture, old plumbing, shower is a separate topic, as is the toilet itself in general. I really hope that the management will have the opportunity to replace these disadvantages, room cleaning is lame, they clean badly, as they wrote, they just made the bed, put water on and went, the person who cleaned with us, just sat on the chair on the phone for half an hour (I saw with my own eyes, I went into the room), I also cats against them I have nothing, but I would like to sterilize them, the stench by the pool from the cat's mark is disgusting. for the 2nd time in this hotel, I brought my retired mother to rest. I was at this hotel for the first time in 2021 with my husband (actually the 3rd time in Egypt). I didn't like it: 1) Low-level service (it became worse than it was), because the selective attitude of most of the bartenders / waiters to the guests and the obvious external dissatisfaction of many of them with their work - someone did not even want to approach because of this (dissatisfied faces; unwillingness to pour what they wanted; pour someone less, for some more; also the cooks - the same shrimp for someone 5 pieces, for someone a full plate). There are also good staff among the guys, thanks a lot to them! To the bartender at the pool - Hazem, Thank you very much! Always dancing, smiling and cheering up the guests! 🏖️🫶 The reception has a separate "hello" - framed! I asked to change 50 dollars, the day before departure - we exchanged some of the old bills from 1996, which were not accepted at the airport for overweight luggage! We barely left with what we bought! Terrible consumer attitude! It was very unpleasant. But everyone always smiles hypocritically! 2) The rooms urgently need renovation. At least for everything to be new: a falling off leg on the refrigerator and a refrigerator that does not close properly, old furniture, running taps, poorly draining water in the shower and a prehistoric shower curtain! I took my mother to Turkey earlier, I was ashamed after Turkey for such a quality room (Spanish shame, apparently). We were settled into a large room near the pool, I also clarified: would it be noisy from the animation of the pool. They convincingly said that no, it won't be heard! Everything was heard! If you like silence, ask for a separate bungalow further from the pool (5001, 3015, etc.). 3) The animation is monotonous: on every day of the week there are the same cartoons for children and the same evening shows with the same artists! Why do people who have been resting for more than a week watch the same thing?! "Live" music is also unpleasant to listen to - under plywood and the same songs every time in the same order, as if there are no other songs. the 2nd time listening to the same thing is also not a thrill. The lack of animation according to the specifics of the country: where are oriental dances or something else that conveys the atmosphere of magical Egypt?! 4) The food is delicious, but also monotonous. There are few seafood, and when they are, they are given out in small portions (shrimp 5 pieces each). I can come like this 10 times, but the point is: give me as much as I ask, I'll eat and I won't come again. I'll still come as many times as I need to (more than I can, I won't eat anyway; the same goes for drinks). I didn't really find snack snacks anywhere except the beach. We only had lunch on the beach. It's not pizza, it's pita bread with what's left in the kitchen as if (dry). In 2021, there was still pizza. On the beach, the snack is the same every day and nothing tasty except fruit. I also liked the juices: they became better than they were. Especially from guava. There used to be an upi or an invite. 5) A photo shoot with a photographer is a horror! I will never participate again. All the time he was pushing and saying, "what is your first time?!" I showed my displeasure that I didn't get up the way he said. No one warned in advance that underwear would be visible in the rented dress and that the payment rate in rubles was different from the payment in dollars. In general: a lot of information was not finished; it was explained by the fact that no one asked (how can you ask if you don't know what it might be - it's unclear). When choosing a photo, the photographer sneezed, snotted, it was unpleasant to be around. Outwardly, he is also an untidy photographer. The photos turned out great, but the process itself is terrible, as if mud was poured over it. 6) feeding from their airlines: a mini loaf and 2 pieces of sausage, it's trash. Well, at least some juice, water and tea/coffee. Like it: 1) Beautiful view from the cliff! 2) some guys from the staff (I wrote above). 3) a good beach with a gentle entrance and fish, but: at low tide, there is an unsuccessful entrance to the sea, where you can kill yourself (wobbly stones). 4) a lot of cocktails to choose from - 9 pcs. 5) the Neverland show was included in the package, I also really liked it. 6) the proximity of the old town is a 20-minute walk, where you can eat seafood in a fish restaurant and, in general, feel the atmosphere. I recommend fishmarket. Farsha, by the way, can also be reached on foot. 7) the presence of an ATM in the hotel, where dollars can be exchanged for pounds at the normal exchange rate. It is more profitable to pay in pounds. 8) the very idea of bungalow rooms is cool, it would be comfortable to live there if they were newer, really. 9) WiFi is good everywhere, especially near the reception. In general: if you are looking for impressions of a beautiful view and a pleasant beach, then here. Those who love nature and large green areas will be bored, I think (only if you go somewhere outside the hotel). You will create the atmosphere for yourself. Will I come back for the 3rd time?! Don't know. At this price, it is unlikely. We flew to the Emirates at almost the same price

The choice of this hotel was made because of its proximity to the sea and its reef.
We arrived at 9 pm, settled in the main building on the 4th floor with a view of the road - this is the worst option. There are no balconies in the rooms with a "garden view" (or rather on the road), there is nowhere to dry. Although the room is large, two-room. At the expense of plumbing and furniture, we were ready for everything, having read reviews. They did not agree to change the room for an additional fee, referring to the fact that everything is occupied. At night, the outdoor air conditioner made so much noise that they had to demand relocation. And the room was found: at 2 a.m. we moved into a family bungalow, lived there for two days, the air conditioners were also noisy, then we were moved to a smaller bungalow. In general, we changed 3 numbers. In the latter, the air conditioner worked tolerably, even the shower curtain was to the floor, and water did not flow throughout the bathroom during washing. It was the height of comfort compared to the previous rooms))
The bungalow is good to live in, quiet, you can't hear the neighbors, there are terraces.
We went swimming on a wild beach to the reefs, there is a great variety of fish. Apparently, they are being fed, because they immediately surround and even try to grab their fingers, but this is on the main beach. We have seen stingrays and squid several times. We bought a silicone case and took pictures under water just on the phone. In addition to fish, a pack of good-natured stray dogs lives on a wild beach. They meet everyone who comes, ask for food, bathe. It is better not to put clothes on the ground - they will mark them.
I swam in the pool once out of curiosity. The water is very warm, it smells strongly of bleach. Finely.
I liked the food in the main restaurant of the hotel, the Italian, of course, is a parody of Italian cuisine, but you can try it. I really liked the sweet tortillas with fruit from the grill. It was better than sponge desserts. Ripe and fragrant figs, guava, persimmon and grapes were appreciated from the fruits.
From the animation, you can watch Latin American dances, they happen 3 times a week, different groups perform. Our tour price included an imposed service - a visit to the Neverland show (7 thousand rubles) at the Albatross Aqua Park hotel nearby. Dinner is served with a lot of meat, drinks, dessert. It is better not to have dinner at your hotel before leaving. The show did not cause any special emotions. The costumes are beautiful, but in general it's noisy, stupid, and the guitarist is opening for almost an hour.
The hotel has a good location - the sea is 2 minutes away, the old town with the market is a 10-minute walk away. A snorkeling mask can be bought for 7-8 dollars (at first they ask for 17).
The atmosphere in the hotel is calm, vacationers are mostly Russian-speaking. The staff is friendly, understands Russian and speaks a little.
I think the rest was a success, because we got what we came for - a warm, transparent, beautiful Red Sea with a cozy bay of El Maya.
The only drawback is the number of rooms.

The rooms (I lived in a bungalow) are quite comfortable. It was the 3rd time at the hotel, but the first 2 visits were in November and, as it turned out, it is very important, because in November the water is comfortable and not as hot as in July (+38) already at 7 a.m.
The territory is beautiful and well maintained.
If I go to Egypt, then only in autumn and winter and to this hotel. There have been 6-7 times in Egypt and this hotel is the best in terms of price and quality......

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. We had a rest in late June and early July. According to the weather, it was hot in the afternoon at about 38-39 degrees, it was comfortable to be at sea under a canopy, it was hard in the open sun. The rooms are old, but it doesn't matter, the room is only for sleeping. We had a rest with children: plus, this is going to the sea, it is very convenient for children, children practically did not get out of the water. The sea is beautiful, the corals, the fish are super. The sea is very comfortable.
According to the hotel: as I wrote earlier, the rooms are old, but there were no problems. The food is normal, quite varied. Animation is entertainment for children, but in my opinion it is monotonous. And so the guys did well.
In general, the staff is very friendly. If you do not attach yourself to the little things, then 5.
We are satisfied with the rest and the hotel. Would you come again? Yes rather than no. It's comfortable with children there.

Great hotel, great staff. They loved the kitchen very much. A gorgeous beach and corals near the shore. The fish are colorful and are not afraid of anyone. It is very beautiful, we will be happy to come with the whole family to this hotel.
If possible, I would have given it 10 stars.

We had a rest from July 9 to July 21, 2022 .The territory is clean, well maintained with a very beautiful view of the sea, mountains and the old town. We lived in a room with a sea view near the restaurant. The room is large and spacious. The room has a large double and bunk beds. The furniture is not new, repairs in the bathroom would also be useful. The food in the restaurant is delicious, the range of dishes is not great, but the food trays are always full. For all the time that we were there, there was always meat, for lunch and dinner on the street we were given beef, lamb, turkey, once shrimp (by the way, very tasty).There are no complaints about the service at all, the staff is so polite that it's already not familiar. The beach is big and there have always been enough sun loungers for everyone, but the pool is shallow and small, more like a children's pool, there is definitely nothing to do there. There is always something going on in the evening, then dancing, then fakir, then snakes. If you wish, then after 23.00 for $ 20-25 you can go to the club with the animators. In general, I really liked the hotel, probably when the renovation of the territory and rooms is done, I most likely will no longer be able to afford it

Nice hotel. No frills, but very cozy. Green and clean. The staff is friendly. The food is all smooth, there was enough of everything. The main thing is quiet!!! There are very few children, there is no entertainment for them. I am satisfied, I recommend it.

In my opinion, this is the best Charm hotel. This is my third time here and I want more. The staff, the kitchen, the sea, the service is beyond praise. I've been to different hotels in Egypt, I think this one is the best.

I am currently in this hotel, it is stated in the package as 5*. There is no 3. The food is disgusting, on the third day you no longer want to go to the "restaurant". 90% of the local population who do not know how to behave. There is no water freely available! In Africa! There are no refrigerators with water!!!!! You need to go to bars for water, if you live in quieter rooms or sit on the beach - it's far away!! In the heat! There is only one place with ice cream in the whole huge hotel. You will not be able to swim because the whole "sea" is a knee-deep shoal, the depth is a square of 2 by 6 meters, where you can just go in and out. The rooms are so tired that you are afraid that there will be a pen in your hand when you take it. I do not advise anyone to consider this place. It's an incredible pity the 400 thousand given for the trip.

Have a nice day, everyone. We were at the hotel from May 20 to May 27, 2023. This is one of the great hotels. The staff is so friendly that sometimes it seemed that something was wrong. It doesn't happen that way. The food is varied, although not as much as many people are used to. The choice is different and does not bother. Sweets, fruits are enough. There is a wonderful ice cream in one place. Especially the mangoes and strawberries were amazing. The animation is just a bomb. You can play volleyball, football, basketball, tennis, billiards. Lunch snacks are better until you've seen it right full-fledged lunches. Drinking water is plentiful. And there was always water in the rooms. The room was cleaned every day. Everything was clean. Towels have been so different. The sea in the morning in May is not very warm, but from 12 o'clock to evening fresh milk. The fish are just wonderful everywhere. In the evening, entertainment up to 22 hours for both children and adults. Afterwards, you can sit at the bar and drink a cocktail. It was so delicious, but everyone brought their own alcohol if they needed a little more strength. In general, we recommend it. Moreover, there is something to do with children here. Thanks to the hotel for a wonderful stay.
