We were in the summer of 2021, a nice cozy hotel, chic rooms, daily cleaning, this is one of the advantages. Security is working fine, children cannot leave the territory. The animators are funny, there is a mini kindergarten, the girls Kristina and a local girl will take the children while you swim (only from 4 years old are allowed to leave). McDonald's is quite far away, 5 minutes by bus or car. Alanya is 20 minutes away by bus, it is better to take cash. What else can I add, the beach is clean with pebbles, in non-slip sandals, the waves are big, so you have to sweat to sail away from the shore. There is a bridge with a ladder, you can jump from there. The pool is double, there is a small one like a fountain, and a large one, usually there are a lot of people there. The slides are large, it is better to choose an average one if you are a fearful person. The shower and locker room are all there. The territory is small, so it's the best thing with children. Don't run away too much.
Apparently, the repair is fresh so far, but due to the crisis in the country, the service is a little lame. You can make burgers on the beach, and there is a very good view of the beach.
Of the cons: rude reception and boss.
The food is a little bit insular, but apparently the local cuisine is like this, the children have nothing to choose except potatoes and vegetables.
The guests are mostly local, in the evenings there are performances, dances for children, there are fire shows next to the pool, maybe a jewelry fair. In general, the hotel is very good for families. Since they take you to the club for a fee and not every day.
The hotel is a maximum of 5/10 with a lift!
IF YOU ARE GOING TO THIS HOTEL, THEN BE SURE TO READ IT. We had a rest on August 11-18, 2021. You will get a lot of emotions, I promise! I do not pretend to be the truth in the first instance, the review is completely my opinion, as a vacationer not for the first time in Turkey, and even more so in the 5-star tourist hotel. As you know, there is a fly in the ointment in every barrel, so at the same time read the pros and cons (point 1 of the pros and point 1 of the cons) and compare! This review can be used as a guide to Turkey.
At first, the PROS:
1. At the reception, the staff can both speak and understand Russian (see point 1 of the cons)
2. The rooms are quite clean and tidy, pleasant decoration, a lot of space in the standard room
3. The air conditioner in the room works 24/7 and really cools and keeps the temperature. At the same time, if you remove the key card, then all electricity is cut off, but there is no air conditioning.
4. Quite close to the sea - 3 minutes walk through the underpass and your own beach. There is a mini pier from which you can jump into the water.
5. There are a couple of souvenir shops, food and tours nearby. But the prices, of course, are cheaper than in a hotel, but more expensive than in the market.
6. There are local "Pyaterochka" within a 15-minute walk. They accept Visa and MasterCard cards
7. Overall, the hotel is clean. If someone spills or drops food on the floor, the staff cleans up after a while. The same thing happens with glasses - they are removed. There is a tableau for the maids in the room, where you can specify what the maid should do: clean, not clean, or wait.
8. There are cocktails on the bar- 1 view! Vodka+ gin + juice + non-alcoholic sweet liqueur. It is drunk like water if it is cold.
9. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby, but it is weak because the whole hotel is sitting.
10. A good hookah and a cheerful hookah man. You can negotiate for $ 10 for good tobacco. On the first day, he offered me $ 5 dollars, the next days for $ 10. By the way, he also understands and speaks Russian! The coals are changed frequently. A large selection of tobacco.
11. Three slides for children in the pool and a paddling pool for kids. The pools are clean.
12. Every day there is an animation for children, and after that for adults.
Now about the CONS:
1. With all this, they are trying to cheat for money. Weighing luggage is a paid service. To change the room upon check-in to the same category is also charged 20-30 $. Alcohol after 23 is also paid and very expensive. They don't give you a lunch box if you have time for breakfast. You ask where to buy a tour, and they say take it only from the guide. I think the percentage is dripping.
2. Here's a curious story for you! When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a family room for one night because there were no standard rooms. Well, we agreed on the condition that they would change it to a regular one the next day. The next day, 3 times came up, and we were finally given a standard room. You could have left a large family room with 5 beds for $ 30. But it was still flowers, berries came later. They settled in. And what do you want? The room, and specifically the bathroom, smelled, how to say culturally, of this hotel. I'm kidding. It smelled like sewage, rotten water, feces, or just shit. And it smelled from the sink… They did not change the number, the Russian people were too lazy! The rest was coming to an end, in the last 3 days the stench had gone away, or we got used to it, but on the last morning it returned. 2 days before departure, the maid knocked on our room and said "toilet, toilet", but we sent her away. And behind her stood a male plumber with a bucket, and guess what's in the bucket? Right. Our hotel (human waste). Having shown the wonders of deduction, we concluded that there was some kind of blockage in the pipes in our wing, so the plumber came to clean. And the stench stopped because he cleared the blockage in the neighboring rooms. We're doing great, aren't we? Yeah, it wasn't there, it turned out that the smell was associated with a more interesting problem! We accidentally met a couple who checked in at the same time as us, we arrived on the same bus to the hotel. But about everything in order! The essence of the conversation was as follows. They were given a room in a hotel right in front of us, they went to take things and saw an interesting picture there. Some man fucked (fucked) some woman, and when they came in and said "what are you doing here, this is our room, leave", he replied to them "wait, I haven't finished yet"! What's it like?! Our heroes went to complain to the reception. They were promised to resolve the issue and sent to eat night soup. They return to the room, and there is a work of art. Have you figured out which one? That's right - our hotel. Shit was smeared all over the bathroom and the floor was flooded with sewer water. We went back to the reception, they were promised to clean the room. 5 people were cleaning, as they were pleased… It's midnight, the room was cleaned, but the smell remained. Well, our heroes decided to spend the night because there were no rooms left. The next morning we went to swear at the reception and ask for a room change. Unfortunately, this service costs $ 30. And everything seems to be fine, people are in a nice new room. Well, then I have already described everything. We lived in our room, they moved from a shitty room to a good one. Only there is a small detail. Did you notice that they left the old room and we went to the new one? IT WAS THE SAME NUMBER. They were evicted, cleaned up a bit and settled us in. Good attitude towards tourists, right?
3. Water from the air conditioner flows down to the floor of the balcony and the balcony is always wet. But the staff are great! They guessed to put a bottle under the drain so that nothing would run down the floor. And it doesn't matter that it takes half a day to fill up and the water flows back to the floor.
4. The beach is a pebble. The bottom is also in pebbles, but there are also some large stones or slabs. You have to be careful! It is better to go in shoes. There are a lot of sun beds on the beach, they are under a canopy, but you can also drag them into the sun. They are also occupied in the morning and after lunch, people leave the heat. So you can take the empty ones. There are jet skis on the beach - $ 40 for 10 minutes for 1 person. This is the final price. Convert it into rubles and compare it with the Russian price tag.
5. Walk to the market for 30 minutes at an average pace.
6. A mask is needed. Well, this is the standard in Russia, so everything is fine here. In general, no one wears a mask anywhere. Except in large shopping malls.
7. The rooms are cleaned once every 3 days. Our room was cleaned every day, apparently checking the smell of the hotel (shit). They clean up well, by the way.
8. All alcohol is locally produced - it is not very pleasant to drink it clean. If you want an imported one, pay. Ice cream is for a fee.
9. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and even in the rooms - just pay. 7 days - about $ 12. Think for yourself, if you stay at the hotel all day, then you can buy (but first it's better to try free Wi-Fi). But I feel sorry for the money for something that should be free.
10. There are no comments on the hookah. I will write here about the FOOD. The choice is small, everything is monotonous, only the pitch differs. In the morning they give rolls, boiled eggs and scrambled eggs, pancakes, porridge and some other baida, but we did not take it. There are cereals and syrups for breakfast. There are cuts, salads, vegetables, fruits - they are all monotonous for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner and lunch do not differ much, meat or fish are fried for dinner near the pool. And the diet for lunch and dinner is as follows: stewed vegetables, rice, pasta, potatoes, 2 types of meat roast and again some kind of canoe. There is no menu for children. There is no menu for vegetarians. Everything is too greasy. Sweets are not tasty, outwardly beautiful and different, but they taste the same and not very much. Standard drinks are coffee from the vending machine, tea, freeze-dried juices, water, sodas and alcohol.
11. The sun beds by the pool have been occupied since the morning. There are a lot of people in the pool too, but there is a place, everything suited me.
12. For children, the animation is the same every day. For adults, all kinds of contests, discos and performances by artists (or disguised hotel employees) are held. The ANIMATION is no different from other hotels in this class. Nothing has changed for 3 years. But we were not discouraged and pulled cocktail after cocktail by the pool. In the afternoon, there is generally weak animation - darts, volleyball, once we saw exercises in the pool, maybe something else.
13. Advertisers constantly approach the lobby and offer to go to the hammam or buy furs or leather. DON'T DO THIS, DON'T MAKE MISTAKES! The next item is for you.
14. On the first day at the hotel, all newly arrived tourists will be met by a guide and a meeting will be announced. There he will, in addition to useful information, offer you to buy tours from him. THE PRICES ARE OVERESTIMATED BY 2 times. He argues that he has insurance, transfers, etc. Friends! You can buy a tour on the street for 2 times cheaper and also with a transfer. Do I need insurance? I'm not sure I need it. Nothing will happen to you on sightseeing tours. It is also not needed at extreme events, judge for yourself, if there were a lot of injuries, then these excursions would have already been closed. It's your business.
15. The most profitable option to take a tour is to get to know the local Turks directly. I'll give you an example. Rafting. The price at the guide in the hotel is $ 35, on the street $ 20, at the Turk who conducts the tour is $ 15. ATVs: $ 45 from the guide at the hotel and $ 20 on the street. The extreme version of the ATV: $ 45 on the street, $ 25 from the Turkish instructor. You can find tour instructors on Instagram! We were on the regular version of ATVs and we didn't really like it, because we were driving a chain of 20 people very slowly and without acceleration. If you are afraid of the speed of shaking or a pensioner, then you can take it, but if you are a young, beautiful and energetic organism, it will be boring. I recommend taking the extreme version, where there is only you and the instructor.
16. DON'T FORGET TO BARGAIN! The price can be brought down everywhere. The price is deliberately overestimated. I recommend to discount 25% for sure. Therefore, start bidding at an even lower price.
17. The hotel's composition: Russians, Ukrainians, CIS - 40%, Turks and other Arabs -40%, Europeans (Poles, etc.) - 20%. We were told that the hotel is Muslim, although I have not found any evidence of this. Russians are settled on 1-3 floors.
18. Upon arrival, the smell of burning was felt, because Turkey was burning at that time, but now there is no longer this smell, or we are used to it. There was also a little bit of ash floating in the sea.
19. Dollars. You will only need dollars or euros. But, if you are not lazy, you can exchange lira. They come out cheaper. You can not pay with a card (in rubles) everywhere and make sure that the payment currency is visible! Instead of TL lira, they can put USD dollars, and this is already a difference of ~ 8 times.
20. The tap water smells like a hotel (shit). Sometimes it seems that everything in the hotel smells like a hotel (joke).
CONCLUSIONS: The hotel is weak, it does not pull in 5 stars, rather 4 stars. A fair score of 5/10, despite the fact that I'm not picky. In this price category, it's normal to get 40k per week per person. Thank you for reading to the end. This is my first review and I am writing it because I am annoyed by this hotel. Remember that the main task of the Turks (hotel staff, merchants, instructors and Russian guides) is to make money on you. No one canceled the plan. Have a good rest!
