Restoration has been required for a long time. The prices are not justifiably expensive. It is a pity that the famous bazaar was brought to such a state.
The Alai market is not what it used to be, but fruits and homemade products (such as homemade sausage, nipples, etc.) are still good. I go there very often
One of the most expensive (if not the most expensive) bazaars in Tashkent. Apparently, due to the small size and central location, the prices and quality of the products are noticeably above average. Foreigners are easily "charged" a triple price, so take someone from the locals with you who will bring down the price and help with the choice. P.S. Uzbek pistachios, almonds and lemons are fantastic.
The Alai bazaar was castrated... the rent has been raised, the products have gone up in price... everything is concreted,,, there is no shadow... There is no dehkan.... There is no bazaar spirit...
It's a good bazaar, but with the exception of a couple of shops there's nothing to do here. The prices are much higher than in other bazaars, and the assortment is very limited in the sample. So here you can take only the most necessary things.
A place where almost all cafes cook delicious food. Dear bazaar - but knowing this, you went shopping there + supermarket in the interior. The location is convenient, the center is still nearby and the metro is nearby. Thanks for the parking, it's nice.
The prices on the market, so to speak, "urban" are not much different from the Hospital bazaar, but some things are cheaper here, the assortment is not great, but for the average man in the street it will go, there are a lot of jewelry stores, there are shoe repairs and cell phones / computers. There is a flower shop, well, in general, not the best and not the cheapest bazaar in the city, but there are no others nearby, the nearest ones are: Yunusabad market (Supermarket), Hospital market
Terrible bazaar! The prices are cosmic, the quality is worse than average! I don't understand those people who go there to Poland to take anything there! For the amount that they sell there in other places, you can take a lot more!
A little more expensive than other markets, but the convenient location, a wide range of goods and services, as well as a bright national flavor, the availability of souvenirs make this place attractive for both tourists and residents of the capital! And by the way, you can find almost any food in Alai.
It just became an expensive, elite market for tourists. There is nothing interesting there. Even the same dried fruits are three times expensive. Although it used to be almost a central grocery market.
Prices for fruits and dried fruits are very high, it's a pity that there are no fruits and vegetables in the discount Basket. Otherwise, the prices are reasonable and the quality is good, I recommend dairy products.

A great market, here you can find the quality that you will not find in another market!
Unfortunately, the bazaar was killed by reconstruction! Everything is expensive! Reseller on reseller. More or less the prices are behind the bazaar , near the school!
A good market. But after the repair, the highlight of the cotton bazaar disappeared (products with high-quality prices above average

The market is purely for ignorant tourists. Everything is based on the selection of money from visitors: expensive parking lots, inflated prices for goods...
But there are also high-quality imported goods: meat, fish, caviar, etc.
