The building of the Alanya Palace of Culture is beautiful and austere at the same time. In front of the entrance there is an open hall with a colonnade in a classic style. Events are also sometimes held here. The building has spacious recreation areas where exhibitions are organized. Concert halls (there are several of them: salon A, salon B...) They are located on different floors and differ in size. The theater is equipped with elevators, this is important, because it is often necessary to go upstairs with strollers or small children. Heating in winter and air conditioning in summer are also in order here. Ramps are present.
The Palace of Culture has its own theater troupe. They give performances, more often children's, funny and didactic. The artists dance and sing well, and there are good, modern decorations on the stage. Performances with life-size puppets are frequent.
There were a lot of guest performers until March 2020. Adult performances are mostly comedic in nature (the local public loves this genre).
Concerts, meetings, conferences, and diaspora celebrations (for example, the Russian New Year or an evening of Polish culture) are also held in the halls.
During the period of severe pandemic restrictions, the House of Culture was closed for more than a year. Now (since the middle of summer 2021) life is returning to these walls. Posters informing about new programs are hanging again.
A very atmospheric building. We were at a mini-performance in a small hall on the top floor. The hall itself turned out to have a bad fit and was not ventilated at all, everyone came out red as from a sauna.
