The road from Almaty is perfect now. We visited Akshi last year, in this village of Koktuma. The infrastructure is normal. Almost everything can be found in the store. The coolest thing is the water. Salty, transparent, medicinal. I advise you to visit it at least once. 3 full days will be enough.

Zhetysu earth heaven. The nature is very amazing. You can't get enough of the eyes if you look at the waves of Alakol. The air is very cool. What a beautiful sight at koktuma station. One side is Alakol. One side is a mountain.
