I liked the hotel. There is a shop, a cafe and a chic city beach with a stunning sea)The hotel itself is on a 5-point scale: the room is 4 (large, comfortable, the humidity in the bathroom is high, the rest is normal)
, breakfasts are 4 (fresh, the variety is not great, but everything is delicious), room service is 5 (water, tea, coffee, sugar and fresh towels were brought every day,they asked about cleaning)
In general, for me, the hotel is more of a solid 3, but we were comfortable and had enough.We came by and large over the sea, not for the service)
P.S. There is a lot of free transfer at the hotel, thanks to which we visited Sharjah and even Dubai (transfer to the City Center of DEIRA, and there by metro to any station in Dubai.Yandex maps to help)A very significant plus for the hotel!!!

The hotel is on solid 3. No frills, but you can safely spend the night, eat, relax.
After reading the reviews, we tuned in for the worse, everything turned out to be fine.
The hotel is quiet, in need of repair, the furniture is already shabby, 10 years ago it was certainly good, for three of us we got a two-room room with two bathrooms, which surprised us. Friendly staff, the room is clean, towels and linen are clean. The food is not very diverse, but you will not stay hungry, everything is edible and yes, delicious, you can say at home, for lunch / dinner 3 hot, 3 side dishes, salad, dessert, watermelon, there are soups, but have not tried, no frills. It was also nice to receive a very bulky lunchbox upon departure, which was asked to be assembled in advance.
Of the advantages, walking distance: the beach, 7 minutes, but you have to cross the road, you get used to it; there are small grocery stores + a large Nesto Hypermarket in a 20-minute walk and the Sharjah Aquarium + marina to get to Dubai
For your money, a normal hotel, we plan to go again

It is very convenient both in terms of time and points of sale. Having a rooftop pool is a controversial pleasure, the pool water is cold and... Dirty from the vital activity of flying birds (feathers float and not only (((. Sauna is good! We always choose non-smoking rooms with sea views. It's a little noisy from the road, but the view is good. There is a Parus agency right in the hotel. Make no mistake - take guided tours to any place from them! The hotel is very close to the sea. 5 min walk. The beach is wide, there are showers, toilets, changing rooms at the end of the beach and there are always fewer people at the end of the beach. The sloping entrance is just great for children. There is also a small playground on the beach.

Very rarely pancakes or omelets. Tea, juice, coffee. Watermelon was given for lunch from fruits. There was no fruit for dinner. They give out a bottle of water per person every day, but you can also get water from a cooler in the restaurant.
The rooms are ordinary, beds, armchairs, tables, chairs, there is a TV, we only had a TNT channel, there was YouTube in the next room, there are refrigerators, kettles, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, safe.
There is a shuttle service to the city center every day. Near the hotel there are shops, cafes, KFS, and right in front of McDonald's.
The staff is polite, we had no problems. We were settled almost immediately upon arrival.
There is a swimming pool on the roof, the water is cool.
Of the cons: they can clean the room, pick up towels, and bring new ones after lunch and, coming from the sea, usually there is nothing to dry off with.
You need to take a towel to the beach right before breakfast, then they may no longer be there.

But it's clean enough, I clean it daily and with high quality. There is only one towel per person in the room. In the morning, you can also take a beach towel (rather shabby) at the reception. The rooms are large in size. There is a kettle with tea bags. Every day - 0.5 liters of water per person. There is a woman at the reception during the day who speaks a little but quite passably Russian. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are served in a fenced area in the lobby. Everything is quite edible, the choice is small, but you will not stay hungry. The presence of a large beach nearby is a good advantage of the hotel. A piece of the Persian Gulf is visible from a small, dusty window. There is also a marine station with ferries to Dubai and an oceanarium nearby. But the center of Sharjah, where you can walk around the sea bay, is 3-4 km away. My wife and I walked there three times in the evenings. Of course, like almost everywhere else in the UAE, roads often have to be crossed-run across outside pedestrian crossings. Next to the hotel there is quite a decent small grocery store with some other small items, several cafes. One small one (to the left, 40 meters away), where there are excellent two types of pastries and coffee, visited three times. 15-20 dirhams went by taxi to the new Zahia shopping center in one direction.
In general, if you take into account all the advantages and disadvantages of the hotel, you can stay here.

They were from October 21-26, 2024. I liked almost everything. The sea (bay) is within walking distance.That's +31! But to wash off the sand, before leaving, it was necessary to go to the end of the beach. Usually they put a shower before going out.The food was monotonous, but we weren't hungry. It's a pity that coffee and drinks could only be drunk during meals (or for breakfast, lunch or dinner) There are air conditioners everywhere.
The room was clean, cleaned every day, although there was often only hot water in the shower. We survived it! At the reception, a Russian-speaking girl (woman) copes with any question perfectly!

We just arrived home, rested for a week at this hotel, so I will write the most recent review. The hotel is small, 4 floors. The rooms are quite simple, not new! But everything you need is there: a hair dryer, an ironing board and an iron, a TV, mirrors, bathrobes, soap accessories and toothbrushes, shower gels and shampoos are updated every day. Towels are also changed every day. And every day they bring 2 bottles of 0.5 water to the room. The air conditioner in our room worked perfectly in all modes, they put a car on at night. There is a safe, it is free. There is no balcony, I'll tell you right away. It is almost impossible to dry things in the room. You can hang things by the handles of windows on the street, as long as nothing falls. Or you can hang things on chairs on the roof, where they will dry quickly. Roof (letter R on the elevator) : it has a swimming pool , 6 sun loungers, chairs. We went to the pool a couple of times to swim when the sea was stormy and there was a red flag. Nutrition: eggs, sausages, yogurt, cheese, salad for breakfast, there are cereals and muffins with jam. Lunches and dinners are more varied: soups, fish, beef, chicken, a couple of side dishes to choose from and salads. Drinks always include water, juice, tea bags and instant coffee. Personally, I was satisfied with the food, we took breakfast and dinner. Dinner can always be changed to lunch if desired. It is also possible to book a tour with three meals a day. But we didn't need it, because there are shops nearby, there are fruits, ice cream, cheeses and milk - just enough. Al khan beach is very close, there are sun beds (10 dirhams) and umbrellas (30 dirhams). But we didn't use them, we spread a rug on the sand, like most people. The most comfortable hours for the beach are to go immediately after breakfast at 7:30 and relax there until 11 o'clock. And then from 15:30 to 18:30 (sunset around 18:00). By the way, do not take beach towels, they are given at the reception, at least several times a day, take them and hand them over. In general, the hotel staff are very friendly, they will always help and answer all questions. And another point: Sharjah is the most sober area in the emirates. You will not find alcohol here during the day with fire, so shop well in the dutik. There is a McDonald's in front of the hotel, behind it there are cafes and the SAID TOURS tour bureau a little to the left. We took excursions here. And they can be paid by transfer from a Russian card. We went to Dubai twice for a sightseeing and evening boat trip around the Dubai Marina. And we also took jeep safaris in the desert. We liked everything very much, there are a lot of emotions. I heartily recommend it. For our first acquaintance with the Emirates, we liked this hotel and its location. If you plan to travel to other emirates yourself, do not mess with transport, order a taxi right away. It's not expensive here, this is one time, and it won't be as painful as walking an hour to the bus station in the heat, and then making several more transfers. About the currency: here only with dollars. You can change them for dirhams either upon arrival at the airport or at any supermarket: you give them dollars - they give you change in dirhams. Excellent staff, cleaning every day, changing towels every other day, the hotel itself is not modern and there are no balconies for drying things, but the room is very large and spacious, the bathroom has a bathtub, hairdryer, all accessories. A hair dryer and a blackboard are not very comfortable, but a powerful air conditioner, always hot water, free Wi-Fi and an adapter for charging the phone was given at the reception and 1 more was in the room. It is a 6-minute walk to the beach, the only thing is to cross the road , but we did not see any difficulties in this, the sandy beach is ideal. There are cafes, shops nearby, everything is convenient. A large selection of excursions, we monitored the prices and took a Sail in the lobby of the hotel, agent Karim was there and he organized everything perfectly, they accompanied us from and to us, fed us well and liked the program. They were also able to pay in rubles. Dollars are also exchanged for dirhams in the lobby of the hotel and in the supermarket across the street.

We are currently vacationing at this hotel. Honestly, we went to the UAE not for shopping, but for the sea.... Therefore, the proximity to the beach was important. We took only breakfast, the tour cost 111p. the breakfasts are meager, if you wish, you can have lunch and dinner at the hotel, the cost is 40 dirh per person. the main advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the beach. This is where all the advantages end. There is no balcony in the room and the window is small, which does not fully open. It is unrealistically difficult to dry things.
But the staff and the hotel receptionist are friendly and try to help. There are a lot of cafes and supermarkets around the hotel, where you can have a delicious meal for two with a maximum of 100-130 dirhams. The portions are very large, quite 1 serving can be enough for 2 people (then 50-65dirh will come out)

Plumbing is not very good, the toilet barely flushed , the shower is generally normal, but the water was heated for a long time. The Al Bustan Sharjah Hotel is a good budget holiday option if you do not apply for a suite) yes, the rooms are already tired, plumbing and bathroom tiles need updating, but in general everything works. There are no insects (I read about them in the reviews).
In 2018, I was at Al Bustan in Dubai, where the food and the rooms were better. The network is the same, but the level is different. In Sharjah, I would put this hotel at 3*, not 4*.
I chose a hotel within walking distance to the beach so as not to be tied to the transfer, plus the proximity to the ferry to Dubai was important for me, since we went there on our own (ferry + metro). And this hotel has coped with these criteria perfectly.

Food at the hotel: we took breakfasts + dinners. Dinner can be changed to lunch if desired. I've read reviews that the food is not very good. But in fact, everything is delicious, there is little variety, but you definitely won't stay hungry. There is even a watermelon of fruits for lunch. There is always hot meat/chicken/fish. Two types of side dishes. There are two types of cakes from desserts. There are soups too, sometimes even very tasty. Breakfasts suffer a bit, but again: you won't stay hungry. Fried eggs / boiled eggs / omelet are always there, toast with jam / honey, vegetables, cottage cheese, sour cream - always there. Probably the only thing missing was baking.
Recommendation: come for breakfast / lunch / dinner not at the beginning (for example, not by 19h for dinner, but by 20h - then all the tables are free and there is no queue, you eat calmly and bring fresh) otherwise, when you arrive exactly at the beginning, the crowd will rush to the food, queues and tables are all occupied. There are not enough tables, there are queues.
There is a rooftop pool, but it is dusty and uncomfortable.
My verdict: we were satisfied with the rest) we immediately knew what level of the hotel we were going to and did not impose increased requirements on it, the hotel is quite suitable for an overnight stay as a budget holiday. The proximity to the beach, the ferry and the aquarium is ideal.
By the way, the entrance to the Sharjah Aquarium is free for pensioners. Even the document did not need to be presented. And together with my parents, they let me through for free)
Can I recommend this hotel? Yes, but only for those who are ready for a budget vacation option and will not demand more from the hotel than it can give) who, like us, are interested in the proximity of the beach and the convenience of getting to Dubai - a super option.

The staff is very friendly. The food is good. I liked everything except for some disadvantages of the repair. The room has very small windows that work only in window mode. The laminate was swollen in places and was screwed on with screws :). The rooftop pool is in great need of renovation. Half of the tiles fell off. There are very few sun beds and there are no umbrellas or sunshades. A big plus is the convenient location. Not far from the beach. There is a small shop along the way where you can buy everything you need. There are also a lot of cafes with reasonable prices.

Within walking distance of 7 -10 min. min. Nesto hypermarket (turn left, straight ahead, without turning anywhere, just behind the mosque). Prices are normal (mango from 10 dirhams, strawberries 2.5 dirhams, etc.) Along the way there is a pharmacy, cafes, KFS, shops, flowers.

We had a rest from November 28 to December 5 at the hotel.
I'll start with a good one, I was pleased with the size of the room for 2 adults and one child (5 years old), they gave a two-room room, about 70 squares with two baths.
The furniture is not new, but it is all clean and of good quality.
There were only 3 towels in the room, there were no face kits and so on
Cleaning every day, sets of cosmetics, toothbrushes, razors, hats.
The hotel itself is small, but at first glance it is not bad, fresh cosmetic repairs, polite staff.
Now about the disadvantages
There is nothing to catch with a child here, the nearest town is only on the beach or at the aquarium.
Russian channels are not shown on TV, so there is nothing much to do in the room at all.
As for the kitchen, it's scarce... the child went hungry at all.
The staff also restricts food, they can come up and tell you everything you can't take anymore.

The hotel was very tired, it felt like ten years ago. It seems that there are conditions, even a rooftop pool, but everything is old and battered. First, they settled into a disgusting room with a side window and a view of the garbage dump. Thanks to the hotel staff for going to the meeting and, at our request, they moved us to a room that they liked more.
The biggest disadvantage of the hotel is the food. Meager, not particularly tasty and as cheap as possible, it just feels like they are saving on you, as if the products are from the local "red price". Corny is not worth the money.
There are several cafeterias in the area where you can eat tastier, more varied and more satisfying. And as a result, it will also be cheaper.
There is not much place to walk in the area, the area is quite dull. There is a very cool public space - the promenade around Khalid Lagoon, but it is 20-30 minutes on foot in one direction along an infrastructure not particularly adapted for pedestrians.
But the hotel has two very significant advantages - walking distance to the beach, as well as the issuance of beach towels. Not many hotels in the UAE can boast of this, especially budget ones. We had a rest from January 31st to February 7th. The room is just huge, the furniture is good, the bed is just gorgeous (very comfortable, wide). There are all shower accessories on the bathroom shelf (cap, brush + paste, disposable machine, shampoo, shower gel, cream). Everything is replenished as you use it. But for some reason, the taps are 20 cm away from the wall, and this creates inconvenience. Beach towels are provided at the beach, which is a 5-minute walk away. I was surprised by the rare hair dryer on the wall, but it's hanging there, apparently, for the story. They gave me a good hair dryer at the reception without any problems. The room also has an ironing board and iron, kettle, glasses. Sugar, coffee, tea, and water are replenished daily. I tried to figure out the TV, but I couldn't turn it on, and I didn't even have time to watch it. The pool is on the roof, we went up only once and then to look. It's kind of uncomfortable there.

But judging by the repair of the rooms and the food, it would be fair to give it 3 stars.
The rooms are clean, but all the furniture in them is tired, to put it mildly, it is clear that as the hotel was built in 2008, as they bought all the furniture in the same year, nothing was changed.
If, like us, you prefer only to sleep in the room, then this option will suit you. Smoking is allowed in the room, even there are ashtrays that are changed every day, cleaning and changing towels also every day, toothbrushes are changed every day, shampoos, shower gels, soap and toilet paper are put on.
There is a swimming pool on the roof of the hotel, which is closed at night, we went there once, just to look. A small pool, not half working, exists purely for show.
The most important advantage of this hotel is walking distance to the beach, when people are taken by buses from other hotels, it takes 5 minutes to walk
There are also 2 grocery stores nearby, souvenirs are also there, prices are more than adequate, but it's better to buy in the city, it's cheaper there.

The dishes are gray, but once they were white. But there is also no bar where you can buy a normal coffee for money. We went to the nearest cafes and supermarkets, ate there. Beach towels are provided at the reception. Al Khan beach is within walking distance. The main contingent of the hotel is retired people. All Russians, foreigners will never come there. I recommend. We arrived in the morning at 6.30 a.m. local time. We were invited to breakfast, and after breakfast we were checked in immediately, although we only checked in at 2 p.m. Friendly staff. The atmosphere of the hotel is good, you can say homely. The rooms are not 5+ and the food is good, we were always full, but you get tired on the third day from the monotony, but this was not the most important thing for us. The most important thing was the sea, and it was just around the corner, 5 minutes from the hotel and visible from the roof, where there is also a swimming pool. And the sea, or rather the Persian Gulf with its excellent Al Khan beach, pleased us. White sand and warm sea at the end of December, that's what we needed. The vacation went by with a bang.
