Compared to other places in Cairo, where there is garbage and dirt, it is very clean and well maintained. Our mistake was to come on a day off (Saturday). In the first half hour, around 13 o'clock, everything was fine, a slightly sleepy afternoon, a languid sunny atmosphere, a magnificent view of the city, fruit trees, flowers, herons walking. But everything changed around 14 o'clock, when buses began to bring some children to the park. Apparently, schoolchildren. In an instant, they spread throughout the park. All the lawns, hillsides, alleys, paths and places near fountains and waterfalls - everything turned out to be filled with these people. I think they had only seen white people on TV before in their lives, because they started running up to us asking us to take a picture. 1 time, 5 times, 25 times, and the number of such began to grow and grow. And they did not accept refusals, they continued to insist! We were surrounded like a flock of birds, it was even scary. The seven-year-old daughter almost cried because they started touching her blonde hair. Some of these kids, it seemed to me, were from extremely poor families, some even barefoot. They asked us our names, where we were from, and if we were Muslims. As soon as they found out that there wasn't, they began to hover around us very suspiciously, as if waiting for the moment to steal something and run away. In general, we were really scared, and without examining the second half of the park, we hurriedly retreated to the car. In the park itself, we managed to enjoy the cafe, it's not so bad and inexpensive, plus a romantic view of the lake with fish and a fountain. Also, the park has a very cool alley of tall palm trees with a smooth trunk. We take off two points: 1) for the fact that the camera requires a ticket for 300 pounds. I had to leave it in the car. 2) For lack of security.
If it weren't for some problems, we would recommend visiting the park, but not on a day off!
A great park. A place of rest for local residents, there are few tourists. In the cafe, the waiter demanded tips, although they were included in the bill and there was nothing special about the service.
The territory of the park is large, toilet, greenery, cleanliness. A heavenly place compared to the Giza area, where it is impossible to walk along the streets without getting into the waste products of people and animals.

Well, it's probably chic for them. Alas, we were not impressed. Who walked in the gardens and parks of St. Petersburg, Moscow, who visited the Crimean "Mriya" and
"Aivazovskoe", or at least the Sochi arboretum - they just can't be impressed by this park. He's modest. The most liked is the entrance palm alley with a fountain .
