I was in this "wonderful" place in September 2019, together with my wife and son (6 years old).
To begin with: this is the smallest water park that I have seen. In fact, there are eight adult slides, a children's playground, a swimming pool with waves, all this surrounds the pool "Mysterious River". There are three bars and two cafes on site.
Now about the sad thing: everything is paid on the territory, i.e. absolutely everything. Closets in changing rooms, safes, towels, everything for money. No food or drinks can be brought into the territory, this is very closely monitored by local security. In cafes and bars on the territory, the price tag is average, but the food is not tasty at all.
We were being driven from Patong, which is about two and a half hours in one direction. In the water park itself, visitors are left for 4-5 hours. In fact, there is nothing to do here for more than two hours, it becomes boring and uninteresting and everyone begins to wander aimlessly around the territory or spend time on sun loungers. There is nowhere to go from the territory of the water park on your own, and the bus will not leave earlier than it should. And now the most interesting thing, for two adults and one child, this adventure cost $ 140.

We were with children 7.5 and 1.5 years old. We are very satisfied. Delicious pizza. A good photographer. Children from 122 cm are allowed on all slides. There are 3 zones for kids! Everything is for us and even car rental in Orange Car Phuket (enter into Google, we booked directly on the Internet) has fully justified itself. Because taxis are expensive on the island.

There used to be a great water park! Now it is a little outdated visually, scuffs, chips, something is broken, something is cracked... If you don't pay attention to this, then everything is great! Admission is free for guests of the Splash Hotel (at least it was in 2014, 2015 and 2020). If you go to the water park at your own expense, then I would prefer to just swim in the sea, and visit the water park in Russia - and the park itself will be better and the price is lower.

A so-so water park, for children under 10 years old, it comes with a Bang, but for adults it is unlikely. In 10 days, I saw that the pools are cleaned only 2 times, the bottom of the pools needs painting. The staff does not monitor the descent on the inflatable circles. How many times have I been stuck in a blind pipe while going down with a child and a circle was lowered after me. Fortunately, everything ended well, but the impressions were terrible!

Previously, this hotel was called Centara. There has been a change of ownership, now it is owned by Turkish owners closely connected with the Russian tourism business. An aggressive advertising campaign is underway, so all search engines give it out. A good number of rooms with good interiors, rooms with kitchens. The water park was washed and cleaned a little, but there was no global restructuring. Be very careful with the food in the restaurant! There have been cases of poisoning. The beach and the pool are a little sad, but if you just relax and forget about everything, then it's quite enough. Nearby there are shops cafes, fruit pharmacies, rental, etc.
Minuses: the food in the restaurant could be better and you don't need any frills, just the main menu is continental and that's it. Far from the main hangouts
Positive. 15 minutes to the airport is very cool with children, plus there is a water park and there is a sea.
The trick is you can look at the planes when landing at least every day👍

A good water park. Not many people. There is a place to eat. Not many slides. The wave pool works incomprehensibly. A big plus is the lazy river. We rested at the Splash hotel, we would have gone to the water park in Thailand, unless the duration of the rest was more than 20 days.
