In principle, I liked everything. It is not clear why it is cruel to save on small things. The food is not bad, but the alcohol is just tin beer from a plastic bucket, one sip was enough. There is no animation as such. Some kind of parody of animation. The guys who were already here rested with us, they compared how it was and became. They did not like saving on small things, this had never happened before. In general, guys, the price and quality of the hotel is certainly overrated. Well, the intestines in Gagra are certainly tin. There is no such thing in Sukhum. Everyone was sick, in principle, with whom we communicated. To give such money and lie in the room for a day or two

Great hotel! Spacious, clean rooms! Everything is in perfect condition! In the restaurant, the girls quickly clear the tables, no jostling. On the beach, you will not have time to come, they immediately install a sunbed. Well-coordinated and excellent work of the staff. The bathrobes are soft, the linen is snow-white. Excellent room cleaning. Of the cons, but this does not apply to the hotel, there is a car ride to the sea, which is used by locals - it can be noisy at night.

Very nice hotel! The food is safe, tasty, but not very diverse! For some reason, only 3 days out of 10 were given mashed potatoes (it was very tasty!) for small children, this is a real disaster. The room was cleaned every day, thanks to the maids for their efficiency! The animation for children is wonderful, they were constantly entertained (in the pool, on the beach, on the playground, in the game club, in the evenings they showed cartoons on the projector) adults could also participate! The children could even be left at the gaming club for a while, there was someone to look after them! Thanks to the animators for their good nature and fun! A small minus is the heated pool, it was very hot, I wanted to cool down in it! And we were unlucky with the weather, it was raining, the sea was cool. The newest hotel, good location! By 2023, a complex of swimming pools is being built on the territory, it will be absolutely fine!)) Thank you very much to the administration for everything!

We rested from 05/26/22/2021. I liked the hotel ( as in Turkey ) . Delicious, varied food, very clean in the kitchen , in the room and on site. We had a family vacation with 2 adults and 2 children (13 and 3 years old ) , animation tidal , a game complex , a game club , games , swings , a sports ground . Yoga , dancing , and games are great for adults . The sea is just around the corner . Summer came late this year , so we swam in the sea several times , it was a little cold , but we were saved by a heated pool ( there is no such thing in other hotels ) . I picked up some music by the pool . Fruits, spices, tea , alcohol are cheap , clothes are just like in Moscow at the market (5 minutes walk). Take clogs from your clothes , since the beach is rocky , a windbreaker , and sneakers for sports . Wet clothes dried for 2 days , high humidity . In general, the hotel is a solid 4. It has nothing to do with the hotel, but the transfer picks up guests 6 hours before departure, due to crossing the border (this is the hardest) It takes 50 minutes to drive from the airport to the hotel. About excursions: take money in cash and cards ( there are no ATMs , pay pass does not work for them , only plastic ) , went to Lake Ritsa 2000 ( for 3 adults and a child for free ) ( 300 from each additional for showing additional waterfalls ), 2000 for a restaurant , photos of 100 rubles with rejected on sights , wine , honey are delicious ( buy it for yourself and as a gift )

In general, it's not bad, but it doesn't reach its money! We bought a watermelon, they don't give us a knife in the room, they also cut the dishes and gave them right in the bag, it's not very convenient for such money, a lot of things are missing, cleaning wants the best. The rooms are not clean, they are cleaned for 2+, they are not friendly, in fact you pay for the room and for the pool on the territory. The service is on 2. The food also wants the best. They got sick with rotavirus, the child became ill at night, pharmacies were closed, there was no doctor at the hotel at night, they did not give medicines. Not bad, but not for the money they charge.

The hotel is new, clean, tidy. It is being completed and developed. It's a good option for Abkhazia. But my review is rather negative.
We had a vacation in June 2022. Therefore, the review is relevant for this period. We paid 13,000 per night for a family room with a terrace. And this is definitely a lot for this hotel. Yes, when a new swimming pool area is opened (in 2023), when a beach bar is opened (despite what is written on the website - it has not yet been completed), when the beach is equipped, only then will the hotel possibly meet the stated prices (if these prices are not raised).
Now, in fact, we have received a small room, good food, quite varied, poor animation with a small children's club, one small pool with hot water.
A hotel with a children's concept, but there is really little for children. A small playground, animation exercises, cartoons (although the children got used to it and disappeared into the kids' club for a while). But why not put a fridge with ice cream? ... summer, children and without ice cream.
The sea was cold, so the pool saved, of course.
The beach near the hotel is also not equipped, the shore is unpleasant - a mixture of small and large pebbles with a very inconvenient entry into the sea. There are sun beds and umbrellas, but there are no equipped paths (take care of your feet).
There are heaps of stray dogs on the beach, not dangerous, but the smell is overpowering.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of Novaya Gagra, i.e. there is nowhere to go for a walk, there is ruin around, shops, stalls and an abandoned unfinished building. To get to old Gagra with famous abandoned buildings, the embankment and at least some places for walking - take a taxi.
In general, when everything that is beautifully painted on the site is completed, it is probably worth choosing this hotel. It's not bad now, but not for that kind of money.

We are relaxing in Aquamarine at the moment!! A comfortable family hotel. A great place to relax with children!! Good nutrition. Delicious, satisfying. Great pool. There are very cozy terraces on the ground floor. The only thing that would not be bad is to make a fence or increase plantings to protect against the wind. Very friendly staff! We have already been 3 times - and we will definitely come again!!

A great hotel for Abkhazia, not far from the border. Good menu, drinks included. There is a private pool, free sun beds and its own private beach nearby. There are not enough wooden walkways on the beach. It would not be bad to make sure that people not from the hotel do not occupy the beach. There is a construction site under the hotel window, it is noisy all day if the windows overlook it. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, far from the center, you need to go by car. There are no paved roads around the hotel.

In fact, the rating is 1, 1 star to the staff, who do their work very conscientiously and always strive to help. The key disadvantage is the rotovirus. I don't know if it's in the sea, in food or somewhere else, but the hotel pool is extremely unsanitary, I myself heard how children went to the toilet there with the tacit consent of their parents. It took us only 2 days to catch the infection, although we tried to protect ourselves, after that a few days can be deleted from the rest. Someone will say: rotovirus is everywhere on the Black Sea, but this is not the case. Before that, we stayed in two more hotels in Abkhazia for a longer period, and everything was fine. The beach of the hotel has its own type, but there is a crowded city beach on both sides, so many vacationers are sitting on towels on the hotel beach. Of course it's not fatal, but you can't leave things unattended. The sea is dirty, especially in the afternoon. Well, the last drawback is the unsightly appearance of both the small territory of the hotel (construction site and, uncharacteristically for Abkhazia, very little greenery - see photo) and the surroundings, which everyone writes about here. Add to this a beach filled with vacationers from the side (neighboring sections of the beach are clogged in season), a dirty sea, a tiny pool. Among the advantages: comfortable modern rooms, very good food, good animation and, as I already wrote, very pleasant staff (all without exception). If you go to eat and children's animation, then the hotel is good, but you definitely shouldn't take water treatments here. Maybe after the completion of the construction of the large swimming pool, the situation will improve, but so far the memories of the hotel and the consequences of the stay are not the best.

We visited hotels in New Athos, Garuda Boutique and AinLan in Sukhum, which are considered "top" there, so it's unlikely to find a hotel better than Aquamarine in the whole of Abkhazia. Usually, when coming to hotels in Abkhazia after five-star hotels in Sochi, I wanted to cry, but this one turned out to be on the level. Of course, there were shortcomings, but if compared with similar hotels in Abkhazia, this is of course the top 1.

Very nice hotel by the sea. One of the best in Abkhazia! New, modern, clean, beautiful. We were in early spring, the outdoor pool was very warm. There is animation for children, master classes, exercises, dancing, games. Mini football and basketball field, playground. The restaurant at the hotel with very affordable prices and delicious food. The staff is very polite and always ready to help. The hotel is located on the outskirts of novaya Gagra, which was a big plus for us, since there are no crowds of vacationers from other hotels. There are vacant lots outside the hotel. 500 meters from the hotel there is a local market and a pyaterochka type store with low prices.

We just got back. We took it for 4 nights, but in the end we liked it so much that we extended it for another 3 nights.
An ideal hotel for families with children.
3 pools, 1 warm, ideal for children, the child swam all day.
The second pool is cool, refreshing in the heat, the children also swam.
The third pool is for children with a slide and a fountain.
There is also a small Jacuzzi.
Meals: buffet, 3 times. Breakfast is from 7.30 to 10.30, lunch is from 13 to 15 hours, and dinner is from 18 to 21 hours.
The food is quite varied, although there was a day when they ate salad with mussels and after indigestion.
First and second, desserts, vegetables. There was often lightly salted trout for dinner, which is not often found in hotels, especially in Abkhazia.
Breakfast cereals, cheesecakes, pancakes, fried eggs, sausages, etc.
There were always delicious soups for lunch, two to choose from.
There are also cereals, different meats, steamed vegetables, cutlets and meatballs, a good choice for children, snacks in the form of salads, rolls, olives, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers separately.
The dinner was also varied.
Coffee is true only in the morning, at lunch and in the evening tea, coffee is already at the bar for a fee.
Everyone will like the food.
The waiters work great-they clean in a timely manner.
Live music is played in a cafe at dinner, or live vocals. You can sit and listen. They play and sing very beautifully.
The guys at the bar are good, kind. Friendly people.
Drinks include: homemade red and white wine, local beer, Abkhazian vodka, super delicious milk cocktails, water with and without gas, local lemonades for children.
Other drinks/cocktails are available for a fee.
The ice cream is delicious, too, for a fee.
Rooms: we took a two-room suite, excellent design, renovation. Beautiful view of gorgeous sunsets every day. They didn't even hear the neighbors, unless there were children screaming in the hallway.
There is everything: a hair dryer, a safe, Shampoos, gels, a sewing kit, a shoe spoon and a sponge, a hair dryer, a kettle and teas, dental kits for everyone, there is even a razor with shaving gel.
Bathrobes for everyone, a baby was brought to the child.
We had a suite with one 1 double bed, a second room with two single beds.
Note: be careful, there are ottomans by the beds, I was constantly hitting out of habit)) once very hard, even to the point of bruising.
In the room, in each room there are closets, air conditioners, elastic soft pillows, the bed itself is comfortable. Mirrors, a dressing table, sockets by the beds with lamps.
They cleaned every day, refilled the consumables as needed. The bed linen was changed once.
There is an iron on the floor with a board.
There is a water cooler on the floor.
There are toilets in the hotel, two toilets on site, which is very convenient, there is a shower after the sea, there is a locker room too. A huge plus is that it takes 2-3 minutes to walk from the bar and from the sea. Since there are problems with toilets and changing rooms in Abkhazia, it is convenient to run to the hotel and do everything.
The territory is well maintained, everything is clean, the pool was cleaned every morning, and the entire territory was washed. There are even mattresses on the sun loungers by the warm pool. There is no shortage of sun loungers at the pools, but there were and are individuals who threw towels all day at the pools, I have seen them more than once!
For children there is an animation, a swing, an indoor sandbox, a football/basketball court, a rope park.
A children's room with toys, and a play complex.
Small disadvantages and wishes:
- I would like to have more dishes for drinks, really wine glasses are too small, 200-250 ml
- there is only one small refrigerator, the beer just does not have time to cool down
- coming late for breakfast / lunch / dinner, you can not catch fruits, eat and do not supplement.
Not everyone wakes up exactly at the beginning of breakfast.
Accordingly, the rest of the meals are shifted.
Well, the price is certainly too high. For 2 adults and 1 child, a two-room suite was released with a discount of 30 tr / day.
The territory next to the hotel is broken up, the market is 7 minutes on foot, there are no shops nearby, after the rains the road is all muddy.
The hotel is under construction, it's building a spa like, there will be an indoor pool for sure, I looked through the windows at the construction site)))
Opposite the hotel is the thirst bar with music until 12, but with the windows closed you can't hear anything. The bar is good, and you can eat, smoke a hookah, and dance.
We were not at the sea, the pool was enough for the child. Towels are given out and changed without any problems.
They take a deposit at check-in, we have 1000 rubles, they returned it at check-out.
There is also video surveillance in the hotel.
I lost my glasses - they were returned to the reception, and the second time I left them at the children's room, no one took anything.
There is a sense of security in this regard.
The management and staff do their best for a good rest.
In Abkhazia every 2 months, but the hotels were not rented, but now I think that we will definitely come to this hotel again.
You can not even leave the territory.
P.S. Ala snack bar is open from 15.30 to 16.30: they give ice cream and pizza. There are 4 types to choose from, each was different, pizza was normal, as an option for children to have a snack between main meals. Ice cream and pizza are included in the concept of everything incl. The staff is friendly there. Ice cream can be taken several times.

The hotel works perfectly without interruptions, it was at times with interference, but this is not critical! There is enough for freelancers! Works even outside in the bar nearby.
There are no complaints in the room at all, the pools are also super.

It's a good place. Heated swimming pool. The food is varied, and the bar has a large selection of local wines. We were out of season, so we couldn't swim in the sea. The rooms are spacious and have underfloor heating, which is very convenient. A wonderful animator for children. The kids are crazy about him, they enjoyed spending the whole day with him and even cried when they left there. The only one (either + or - it is not clear) it's a long way from the hotel to the nearest shops and restaurants in the city, but on the other hand, it's quiet around🤷🏻♂️

We had a family room. There is a large bed and a sofa that can be unfolded. A baby cot was provided. The room has a small fridge and a kettle.
Linen is changed every three days.

A mid-level hotel with good food, but at the same time the highest price in Gagra and it is completely unjustified. There is nothing that they ask for 25-30 thousand per day. There is ruin and dirt around the hotel. Nearby there are hotels at least as good in terms of entertainment and territory and 20-30% cheaper.
Bottom line: the hotel is not bad for Abkhazia, but the price tag is just taken from the ceiling and does not even match the price level.

We had a rest in May 2021. The hotel is an island of well-being. Excellent food, staff. The hostess goes out to the guests, is interested in rest. It's very nice. A warm, clean pool, although not large, the sea is nearby. Nice prices at the bar.
We were disappointed with the excursions that were taken twice at the hotel. Children were charged as adults, although the price list shows children's prices. Moreover, you give one part of the cost at the hotel, the other to the guide. On the way to the sights, they are brought to the apiary, wine cellar, cheese factory, etc. until you get there, you do not have the strength and mood to admire the views.
