The hotel is super. We will definitely come back here! Spacious rooms with new furniture, good mattresses and pillows. I slept well. The pool is very warm and the food is delicious. We got into the season when the lights are turned off during the day-that's the only thing I didn't like.

A great place for a family vacation. A pleasant welcome from the doorstep upon check-in - with a glass of delicious homemade wine. Excellent cuisine: Thanks to our chefs for cooking delicious food for us)!!! The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive to the guests. The proximity of the sea is 30-40 meters from the hotel! I would especially like to mention the excellent work of the animators, they captivate children from morning to evening, you guys are their idols!) after returning home, the child asks for a week to return to the hotel to the animators Sergey, Dima, and Luda) that's such affection and love), thank you for such warmth!.
In general, everything is fine! We plan to come in winter and swim in the new baths in the hotel's spa center (currently being completed).

My vacation was in the middle of May 2023.
One of the advantages can be distinguished:
1. Cozy and stylish rooms, everything works, there is no dampness and living creatures (already great!);
2. The work of the staff is decent, cleaned every day, everything you need is there (for long hair, it's a pity there is no balm in the kit), transfer, excursion, taxi numbers, massage, buffet, animation, a system of new pools, green and pleasant territory-it's all there;
3. We did not swim in the sea, ate in a restaurant, swam in the pool- the rotovirus was bypassed, but in a couple of days we drank preventive medicines for the stomach;
4. We used an individual transfer - the driver drove carefully and this is very pleasing.
But there are also disadvantages:
1. As mentioned earlier-noise insulation is a disaster, if you get noisy neighbors, then this will be a problem (we were very lucky, it was quiet until the last night). All the conversations, laughter, screams-everything is audible. The construction site is also perfectly audible from 9.00 to 23.00 (even with a closed balcony, but we did not sleep for days and constantly walked, it was not such a strong problem for us). I think that the situation with sea views is much better because of the windows facing the other side.;
2. The excursion to the Ritz was very disappointing (but nature is beautiful on the way to the lake), not all the places indicated in the advertisement were visited. At 9.30-10.0 you are picked up and taken to tastings of honey, cheese, wine and some other nonsense in the form of a bungee for 1000 rubles, then you are offered to visit the molochny waterfall (if you want to visit the tour, Google this waterfall, in my personal opinion it is more a divorce for money, it would be better to have the whole program from advertising it would be shown), only around 14.00 you get to the lake. You also visit several places where they throw horses at you, hats, if only you took a picture.)
3. The standard room with a view of the sea and mountains was not only a view of the sea and mountains, but also a view of the construction site. But the sunsets are still beautiful. I'm attaching a photo.
4. The road to the hotel is broken due to a construction site nearby.
Despite the disadvantages, if I went on vacation to Abkhazia again, I would come back here, because even with such disadvantages, this hotel is worth it, a solid 4+ hotel.

The disadvantages are as follows, see the photo. This is not a 4* hotel, 3 is possible, but we still need to think about it. The dining room smells like a dining room, either with bleach that was used to wash the floors, or with food. Flies are flying. There is a construction site from the window, people are working there and the corresponding noise.
The bathroom in the room stinks of urine.
It is unrealistically far to go to the pedestrian zone. There are vacant lots, construction sites, a market, and a residential sector around...
The wine that is included in the all-inclusive service will not be offered to you. They will pour some, and then they will say that it is paid.

I really liked the hotel. The examination is good. The rooms are cleaned every day. The food is good. Small! But there is a choice. We bought it with breakfast and dinner. They didn't regret it. The only suggestion: to cook chicken soup -broth for breakfast (I liked this idea in other hotels)

We had a family vacation with a small child in August. We were pleasantly surprised, this is just a great level for Abkhazia. The territory is simply gorgeous, three swimming pools including a children's pool. The child could not be pulled out) Everything is thought out, the animation is excellent. All kinds of activities on the beach, aqua aerobics in the pool, volleyball, kids club, foam parties, streaming cartoons in the evenings on the big screen and much more. The food was very clear and familiar, but very tasty and varied. Even the most fastidious will find a dish to their liking. The assortment is large, we didn't even go to restaurants, there was a lot of everything. The rooms are clean and cozy. They cleaned on time, at any request, everything was brought and changed - special thanks for the promptness and concern. In general, I could write a lot of things, but in general, I emphasize that we would return here with pleasure and definitely recommend Aquamarine for recreation.

We are resting from August 17, 2024 tomorrow 02.09.2024 we leave. 16 days in one go!!! I really liked the hotel!!! 11 out of 10!!! I recommend. Now I know exactly where to go, We are vacationing with two children of 4 and 5 years old with my husband. Perhaps I'll start the description with the fact that we had a late check-in, but the buffet was waiting for us even though dinner was already over. What we were incredibly happy about, the journey was long, 5 hours plane, transfer from Sochi, crossing the border (here we were lucky too, passed quickly). The room is cozy, clean, towels are changed and the room is cleaned every day. Bed linen replacement in three days. The staff is very polite. All days I was surprised at the girls in the restaurant, smart guys, all day at work from 7.30 to 21h, like bees, everything is clean, dishes are cleaned, food is replenished, total control so that there is enough everywhere. And with all this, they always smile, such friendly, clever people! At the hotel on the bar, Ekaterina and the guys bartenders, tirelessly prepared 100 milkshakes for my children, not to mention the rest of the vacationers. They are always friendly and polite. In part of the territory, of course, it is clear that they tried to create comfort as much as possible!!! Every corner of the territory is clean and cozy in its own way, The pools are always clean, one morning I saw that they were taking water samples, and this could not but please. by the way, the territory is closed, which is very convenient for families with children, for example, after getting acquainted with the territory, they moved independently. We felt at home, we decided all our wishes by ourselves, went to the game room for a cocktail, lemonade, pizza and ice cream. By the way, homemade ice cream and pizza are distributed at the children's bar from 15.30 to 16.30, also a kind of ritual that children wait for every day. I think every mother will appreciate this. There is video surveillance everywhere on the territory. The beach is clean, sun beds and umbrellas were always free, although the hotel was completely full during our vacation. By the way, the beach employee is also a very polite man who monitors this. The sea is clear, the weather also pleased us. We earned some local currency "Palms" by participating in morning exercises, and other various contests and events organized by animators. In exchange for them, they promise something at departure, which we do not yet know, but it is very interesting. We also participated in a master class on cooking khachapuri, the children were delighted!!! They ate their creativity with such an appetite... Milota. The cook, despite the fact that there were a lot of children, paid attention to each child. In general, I already feel how sad I will be leaving this place, BUT OH! We have 1.5 more days! And it pleases. I recommend it if you want to relax here. The hotel is truly family-run, calm and welcoming. Thanks to the head of the hotel, we appreciated your work!!! We will be impatiently waiting for a new meeting!!!

I have never drunk more delicious wine, which was served to us as a welcome at this hotel. Even when leaving, they bought 1.5 liters with them.
The owners are great, they try their best to offer a different level of recreation in Abkhazia in their hotel. The sea is the purest, not to be compared with Adler. The beach is pebbly, there is beach furniture for guests.
Vacationers are mostly families with children, so couples may not be comfortable.
Minus for the surrounding area of the hotel: wasteland, dilapidated buildings, lack of a normal driveway and pedestrian road. In a nearby cafe, my husband was served some kind of palenka at dinner under the guise of Royal vodka.

You know, the rating of 5, based on so many reviews, scared me a little, but believe me, this is not cheating.
We arrived in August 2024, for a long time I chose from hotels that do not look like "I came to my grandmother's cottage", so I only looked at hotels built after 2020.
Aquamarine chose at the last moment, as he saw good reviews.
Of course the price bites, there's nothing to say. For this money, you can find a GOOD hotel, eat and drink in cafes, and a third of the cost will remain.
But then we decided to try an all-inclusive hotel.
So, the staff is super. Everyone is polite, helpful, and appreciates you as a customer.
Eating 3 times a day, with a large and full-fledged SHS, where the food is really delicious, not just rice, pasta and cutlets.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and cleaned daily.
There is a heated pool (there are 3 of them in general)
If the sea is worried or you are just tired of salt water, that's it.
Unlimited alcohol. They bring beer, don, zhiguli, and goose cheaper, but it's not disgusting. You can also drink unlimited "homemade" wine, vodka, champagne, but honestly I would recommend only beer, everything else is like that.
In general, I strongly advise you to have a good rest.

We have been vacationing here for the 4th year. In 2024, infrastructure has grown significantly: a second swimming pool, massage, cable car. But the animation was very bad, it's a pity, because that's mainly why they came here. They had a girl, Luda, all the children were in business, now the children are on their own, the animators, if they go out, they pretend to be invisible: they don't take their ass off the chair, they turn on dancing from the TV, and that's good.

I went with skepticism (my wife was buying a trip), because I didn't really believe that there could be a good hotel with service in Abkhazia.
On the second day, doubts were dispelled and we plunged into excellent service, friendly staff, cleanliness everywhere and everything. The restaurant is good, with a large selection of dishes, everything is delicious :))
For children, of course, there is plenty of space, animators are a rocket cannon, I have not seen such involvement in my work for a long time. I'm ready to come here again just for them.
The hotel's territory is cozy, there are three swimming pools - heated, cool and children's. There is enough space for everyone and no one is sitting on their head.
There is also leisure for adults - board games, darts, volleyball/basket, karaoke
There is a construction site behind the hotel, but if you look into the courtyard, you don't pay attention to it.
I have never left the territory in 8 days))
The sea is beautiful, still cool, but this did not prevent us from swimming.

Femeli is a European-level apartment. The rooms are equipped with modern appliances, very cozy and tasteful. Excellent animators who are ready to keep the child busy for the whole day. But what to hide, we chose this hotel because of the buffet, excellent quality, because you can't last long with an Abkhazian meal alone. Also, live music in the evenings is a bonus and the second most important thing when arriving out of season is the presence of a warm pool. One of the best choices for a family vacation!

We had a family vacation at the end of August .
Of the advantages: the hotel is excellent in its infrastructure. soft sun beds , several heated pools , but in fact all of them are not cold , spacious rooms , the sea is behind the gate . Everything is new and beautiful , there are no plastic cups , if you need to take drinks outside the restaurant, polycarbonate beautiful wine glasses .
The cuisine is 5% compared to Turkey and Egypt , the food I would say is homemade and cooked with taste .
Of the cons :
Huge --- many guests are sick with rotavirus . perhaps this is a problem not only for the hotel, but also for Abkhazia in general. But the medic leaves much to be desired here. She brought us 2 spoons of Polysorb and a non - working thermometer for the whole family . then when we called her again , she was unhappy . but I gave some pills that helped and 2 more spoons of Polysorb)
For the main staff in the restaurant and cleaning 5+
it is better to take cocktails outside the gate at the Thirst cafe, where they are delicious .
The free drinks included are very good.
The advice in general to Abkhazia: take honey. Take the drugs with you, start drinking Enterofuril on arrival as a prevention of rotovirus.. my family and I lost a day in the room lying down. and we were lucky .

A wonderful hotel!!! They were in November 2022. New, clean, with a very interesting design. We lived in a suite on the third floor. The room is very bright and clean with a sea view!!! The rooms are beautiful, well maintained and clean. There are shortcomings in the bathroom, but not fundamentally.
Nutrition is normal, but little and almost everything repeats. There are thousands of recipes from chicken, but fillets in batter are probably in the top of the rating.
The phone didn't work and at some point, TV channels stopped showing.
On the second day of their stay, they caught rotavirus somewhere. They were dying slowly all night. The reception seems to be around the clock, but when I wrote to them on WhatsApp in the morning (7h) after a hellish night, I received an answer closer to 9. I couldn't get through because (written above) the phone didn't work. It was lucky that there was a maid's room opposite. I dragged myself to her and asked her to go to the reception. At 9, a nurse came and gave a life-giving injection, after which everything went away.
The pools are good. And in general, there are no questions about the territory. Everything is clean, well maintained. Only there was not enough water cooler

It's great with kids. Good animation for them.
Everything is very clean, a varied buffet. 3 swimming pools, one heated. The beach is nearby, the first line, wide and deserted. We fell asleep at night to the sound of the sea and the singing of frogs.
It is located at a distance from the city, so all loud music sounds in the distance, which is a big plus.
Among the disadvantages - there are no seasonal fruits on the buffet, there is no separate a la carte menu, there is no national cuisine.
As of May, construction is underway on the territory of the hotel and nearby. You will not be able to relax in silence during the day, no matter which way the room is located.
There are broken roads all around, impassable mud after the rain. And on all three roads from the hotel, including the coastal one. They called a taxi even 400 meters to the market.

The best family hotel on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus! It's not the first year we've been going there. Service, rooms, animation - everything is at the highest level, with taste and soul! Like in Egypt, even better. Something happens all the time, a foam disco for children in the afternoon, contests in the evening, movies on the big screen, a DJ at the Thirst bar. Every evening, a jazz saxophonist played in the dining room during dinner. I have never seen this anywhere, neither in Tunisia, nor in Turkey, nor in Egypt! There was even a colorful concert of national Abkhazian dances. And a huge swimming pool began to be built on the site of the tennis court. In general, no one will be bored.

Great hotel. It was 2 years in a row. Solid 4. Aquamarine can compete with many Turkish hotels. The staff is helpful. Room cleaning for 5+. There were a lot of real reviews about the ladies at the reception, I will not repeat myself. There's just sadness here...

About rotavirus, which everyone writes about... It's not about the hotels, it's about the Black Sea! It was literally polluted. Sewage treatment plants on the Black sea, alas, this is the sea itself, into which all the contents from the sewer drain through pipes! And since it is not very salty, it is not able to neutralize all the feces that gets into it. And whether you will have diarrhea and vomiting depends on how close you swim with this tube. And rotavirus torments people in Abkhazia, the Krasnodar Territory and the Crimea, but not everyone admits this.
And the hotel is wonderful! It is a pity that the authorities of Abkhazia are not doing anything to attract tourists. It would be possible to arrange clean-up days and more dumpsters...

The animation program, both for children and adults, deserves special attention: it is clearly thought out and perfectly organized, there are many animators, children collect "awards" for participating in animation, then exchanging them for prizes is an excellent incentive to participate. Now the cons: the child got sick with such a strong rotovirus, it's just the first time I see this, the night, vomiting is fantastic, you can't call an ambulance, they don't come to the rotavirus, they went to the hospital themselves, pricked the hat, lowered it, stayed in the corridor to watch what happens next, the child vomits again. They left it well, dug 2 droppers, let it go. There is no kruglosuchnaya pharmacy in Gagra. We returned to Russia, it is even stronger here, now we are lying in the hospital in Adler, the child vomited with streaks of blood. We will go to Abkhazia again, no.

Around the hotel - not very well-maintained yet, a little wilderness, construction site, but quiet. To the embankment of the new Gagra 10-15 minutes on foot. You can take a stroller for free at the hotel, which is very convenient. Rotovirus certainly overshadowed the vacation, everyone was sick with it in a circle, and with whom they communicated from the guests, too. But this is a universal problem of both Abkhazia and the Russian south, as I realized this year. What's good is that the medic at the hotel, when help was needed, suggested that it was better to buy a child, gave a polysorb, the staff brought a UV lamp and mineral water. So we recovered in a couple of days and continued to rest again.

I had a rest in April 2023. The hotel is wonderful! Clean. Cosy. The staff is friendly. The territory of the hotel is well maintained. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel's restaurant has a varied menu. And fish, meat, and vegetables for every taste. There are always fruits, delicious compotes (I especially liked the citrus fruit). There is live music in the restaurant in the evenings. I highly recommend it to everyone!
