A great hotel, minus that there is no private beach. The food is excellent, the area is green, the staff is responsive! Thanks for the rest, I'll come back to you!
A magnificent family-run hotel in the form of a classic Cyprus village. I really liked the interior of the garden with a variety of flora of Cyprus: callistemon, agave, hibiscus, roses, palm trees and other plants bloom alternately or simultaneously all year round. The hotel stands on a high hill within walking distance to the coastal concrete road for walking and jogging and the beach in the park with the possibility of swimming in a mini-water area made of waves, thanks to which you can swim in a giant marine "pool" and sunbathe on the sandy shore! The hospitality of the hotel corresponds to the declared level of 4 arrivals. The hotel is located 15 minutes from the famous Coral Bay beach in Paphos. I stayed at the hotel in May 2019 and look forward to returning here soon!
I have been to Actaeon twice under the all-inclusive program, I really liked the atmosphere of a cozy, family-run hotel. After the reconstruction, it became even more comfortable. Very good service, friendly staff. A wonderful restaurant. When I didn't have time to have lunch (I went for a walk around the city), we organized lunch in a summer restaurant very quickly without any problems. A large swimming pool for vacationers of all ages. I wanted to go this year: I already talked to a travel agent in February, but it didn't work out because of the coronavirus crisis. I hope everything will work out in 2021.
A pleasant hotel, we have been here 2 times, we would have come again, a green area, a lot of Russian-speaking staff, there were complaints about cleanliness, but they have improved. The hotel is the first line, that is, you see the sea in front of you, but you can not immediately approach it (a cliff with rocks), and go from the slide for 5-7 minutes to the normal entrance to the sea (back, respectively, to the slide), the beach is small and crowded, if you take a car, then it does not matter, excellent beaches were discovered in Polis (having traveled all over Cyprus before)
A lovely comfortable hotel with very spacious rooms. The building blocks are arranged in such a way that no one sees anyone. A feeling of complete privacy, relaxation and comfort.
The restaurant is located in a separate building. The flows of vacationers practically do not intersect. The cooking at the hotel is very tasty and festive. A holiday every day. The restaurant was decorated with food. The smiling, kind staff of the restaurant. The food is very tasty. Evenings are a wonderful animation. The most intelligent quizzes. Easy entertainment for vacationing tourists. Songs, dances, quizzes. There was always a sense of nepotism. In general, thanks a lot to everyone. The beach is nice. The sky, the sun, the water - the sea... dreams that come true. THANK YOU all!
The hotel is located on a rocky shore - this is probably its only disadvantage. We went swimming on the beach of a nearby hotel. This disadvantage is more than compensated by a huge room with a kitchen (tea, coffee are available), very tasty and high-quality food (on the last day of stay in the restaurant they gave door blue, there is a free wine tasting), swimming pools with air mattresses for children, wi-fi throughout the territory for free, animation 7 days a week! I am amazed at the people who write negative reviews about the hotel on the Internet.
There is a market near the hotel where products, souvenirs, wine (I liked it called "Dionysius") and more are sold for cheap.
The Archaeological Park of Paphos is several stops away by bus 615.
I really liked the hotel, the cleanest beach is 5-7 minutes on foot, everything is included, including the pool bar. The staff is Russian-speaking, polite and friendly. I fully met my expectations, the only thing I would like is a more interesting animation. I remember only the fireshow, the others didn't seem very interesting.
We went from September 15 to September 22. The weather is great, not 50 summer degrees, but 30, it was sooo hot at lunch. A great hotel by the type of towns, the food is super, there is no beach, but we really liked the bay at the hotel, better than the paid Coral Bay beach. And the sea is warm without algae.
The person is polite, mostly English speakers, but there are Russian speakers Pavel and Lyudmila.
Rooms are cleaned every day, bed linen is replaced.
I won't say about animation, since we went with a small child and didn't go to it, but the program hung every day.
We would have come back here :)
I did not like that the hotel is located on a high shore, which is not gentrified and surrounded by a chain-link fence. There is a walking path running along several hotels. I liked the breakfasts. The room itself is located in a block consisting of four rooms. Such blocks are located in a green area, very well maintained and beautiful. There is no warm blanket in the room itself (we were in early March, it was not very warm), there are no toiletries, although the hotel is declared as a 4-star
A four-star hotel. We were vacationing with a family of three people. At the expense of food, it was very scarce, sometimes there was nothing to choose from, and sometimes they gave something very interesting. It's ambiguous about food. The beach is a little far away for five minutes along the coastline, and it seems to be a pedestrian one, I repeat, a PEDESTRIAN path, and the local guys cut through it with cars. The mentality in this is terrible. About the beach, well, how can I say there seems to be a piece of sushi with sand, but in fact just a rocky shore sanded by the sea was once sprinkled with the thinnest layer of sand, you can't lie on a stone for a long time without a sunbed, and the sun beds at neighboring hotels are all paid and the prices are not at all tasty. Entering the sea is also a solid stone, you lie down on your belly and crawl or buy swimming slippers and stoutly stumble in search of depth.
A pool with mold, yes, it is with mold.
Plus, the only one of all this is the huge rooms.
That's it) I will not go to Cyprus anymore))

I liked the hotel. Russian Russian rooms are large, with a kitchen area (refrigerator, kettle, coffee-tea-sugar), in addition to two shifted beds – a sofa, a safe, three Russian channels, air conditioning, many have a view of the sea from the balcony, although not all, especially where Russians live – at the very distance from the sea. Two-storey cottages.
I was on HB. Dinner is good, with ice cream, pastries, fruits, a choice of meat-poultry-fish, often seafood, lots of vegetables, dolma, cheese even with mold 2-3 times a week, but without drinks (except for those on all inclusive). Dinner is more like an English breakfast: eggs, baked beans, bacon, baked vegetables and mushrooms, toast, jam; but there are also pancakes with porridge, yoghurts.
The hotel is located far from Paphos, you can walk along the sea or along the route where the bus runs. If along the sea, then there is an obstacle right behind the hotel: the construction of a residential complex, it is necessary to bypass. It takes about an hour to walk. Halfway along the route is the German LIDL, it is slightly cheaper than the Greek Papantonio, but there is less choice in it. A one-way bus ticket is 1.5 euros, a day pass is 5 euros, and a week pass is 20 euros.
The beaches in Cyprus are municipal, but right in front of Akteon there is a rocky cliff, you have to take a little to the right, swim in front of the neighboring hotel.
There is animation in the hotel! At 11, 12, and then at 14, 15 o'clock (shuffleboard, table tennis, darts, billiards, quizzes), and then in the evening – after dinner – live singing, retro disco and bingo (lotto): the ticket costs 5 euros, first one line of one card wins, then all three lines of one card. The winnings depend on the number of participants (the stake is divided into two winners) and with me the maximum was 50 and 100 euros for the first and second. There was only one animator in February – an Englishman Sebastian (there is a Russian speaker in the summer), speaks only English, although he learns numbers in Russian for bingo.
The hotel is primarily British, 20-30 percent are Russians and others a little (Germans, Greeks, Jews ...). So it's a paradise for English learners.
February is the coldest month. Many hotels are generally closed until March. Their winter, of course, is not Russian, but still there were squally winds, so that the palm trees swayed, rains, even once similar to hail, and a storm at sea. I slept either with an air conditioner or pre-warmed the room with it. Once a whole puddle poured under the door into the room, although I put a towel there.
But still the T was +/-15. And I managed to get a tan.
There is a swimming pool on site, and one heated inside, next to a Jacuzzi, a small gym and a sauna (for a fee of 5 euros /person). There are bicycles for rent. There is a playground and a children's club in the shape of a ship. Deep into the island from the sea is the settlement of Chloraka, there are shops, a post office. Guided tours are not cheap, at 65-85 euros now, out of season, mainly to holy places, donkey riding - 65, to the zoo - 21.
If Akteon is not 4*, then 3+* is for sure.
What you should take care of in advance:
Slippers for the room (the tile floor is cold)
Adapter (there are British sockets)
Own bedding (instead of a paid sunbed)
The hotel is located in the suburb of Paphos - the village of Chloraka. The first line... To the cliff. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the sea, but the whole coast is dangerous. The hotel itself is clean, the staff is very attentive. The food and drink are delicious for the most part. The pools are clean. And there are several of them - general, children's, sports and even in the fitness and spa area. The Internet is free, beach towels are secured by 10 euros, and the safe is paid, but within reasonable limits. There is a bus stop 10 minutes away, from which the bus will take you to Paphos and Coral Bay.
They were from 02/14/21/2020
Cyprus has a different life... a different rhythm, different air, sea, food... And this hotel helps to forget about the hustle and bustle and enjoy the measured carelessness of rest...
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The floors are not always cleaned, the two-bedroom houses are very comfortable. The food is great, the staff is friendly, the animators are wonderful. I advise you to visit. A fun and peaceful place in Paphos at the same time
I was satisfied with everything. The room is gorgeous, big. The weather was pleasant, we even swam. It has been raining and stormy for the last two days only. But it's December. I will definitely return to Cyprus and specifically to Paphos.
An ordinary bungalow-type hotel. There is a swimming pool, children's animation is shared with the neighboring hotel. It is a 10-minute walk to the beach. In general, everything is OK.
Beautiful rooms with a kitchenette and a double bed, and what is most remarkable: air conditioning is included in the room rate. There is no beach at the complex, but the nearest one is a four-minute walk away, near the St. George hotel, but this is not a problem at all. The hotel has a fairly large swimming pool, a children's paddling pool, sun beds, etc. The staff is friendly, speaks some Russian (but it is better, of course, to know English). Room cleaning every day (!). There is a regular bus service from Coral Bay to the center of Paphos (Harbor) not far from the hotel. You didn't notice any complaints
A great hotel, the sea is nearby, and it's tedious to walk a little, the food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and helpful, I liked the shower at the spa.
Rooms of sufficient size, private entrance. There is no safe in the room. A narrow, slippery bathtub (this applies to elderly people or those with musculoskeletal problems, it does not matter to those who are younger). Nutrition - without pretensions. The same goes for the territory. The staff solves the problems immediately. The absence of a safe, shampoo, toothbrush is a comparison of 3* and 4* hotels in China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. But according to others in Europe, this is the norm. Therefore, in general - !, and even - ! c +.

Perhaps my favorite hotel in Cyprus. Everything that can be said is good, everything about him. Animation is a little lame and minus the lack of a Private beach. The staff is excellent, the people are very friendly. Five-plus meals
- The location is so-so. The beach is 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel, quite small and rocky. Most go to Coral Bay, 15 minutes by bus 615.
+ Beautiful room, great pool, delicious food.
The hotel corresponds to the stated stars. At the same time, the room with a sea view is quite comfortable. The staff is friendly. A lot of people speak Russian)) the beach is a 5-minute walk away, there is a swimming pool, sun loungers, umbrellas. Excellent food. There is a souvenir shop on site.
Quiet family vacation, everything is great! Cleanliness, beauty, nutrition - everything is on the level! It does not compare with Tunisia and Turkey. We had a rest in September 2018.
In principle, the hotel is not bad.But the sea is far away, although the first line is written!!The beach has 4 hotels and is small if there are a lot of people like herrings in a barrel. There is no entertainment, they play bingo every evening (for a Russian tourist, what a kick-ass entertainment!!!).The food is good, the food is delicious and varied. The rooms are very nice, large, with a kitchen and a living room, there is a kettle, tea and coffee, but the safe is paid 1,75€ per day.
The hotel is very good, everything is provided, I have very tasty food, a huge selection of everything! The only thing is that the approach to the sea is far and small
The food is delicious, but you should not leave the windows open, small lizards come to stay in the room, but everything is fine and there are a lot of ants
