Great place!!! We had a rest in July 2024. with my family. We are very happy with everyone!!! The owner of the Chemist and the staff are friendly and helpful. The base is located in a cozy chic place with a view of the mountains. There are greenery and clean air around. We slept like babies in silence to the singing of birds and crickets. The sea is two kilometers away, transport is provided free of charge, but if desired, you can walk (both pleasant and useful)
We will definitely come next year!!!
By the way, the rule applies)))in Akalam Country Club - everyone should smile, relax and have fun))) anyone who does not smile will be fined)))

We had a rest in early July 2024.
The staff, like relatives, take into account all wishes, react instantly, are kind and responsive.
The place is very beautiful, far from the sea (15 minutes on foot...20 minutes with children aged 8 and 10), but we love to walk, it was not a burden for us, we took a transfer a couple of times (free to the sea).
Wi-Fi is stable.
The food in the cafe is just great, tastier than there, we did not eat anywhere on that trip (we were in Sochi and in Abkhazia in Tsandripsh).
The room has a refrigerator, a kettle, a microwave is outside, there is no hair dryer, there is no TV, the hot water was not lost. We lived in a junior suite

A great quiet and peaceful place for a peaceful holiday. Responsive staff and, most importantly, a responsible and responsive host. An instant solution to any difficulties.

The room is clean, cozy, everything is there: air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, bathroom with shower, towels, cleaning every 5 days. Clean large swimming pool, recreation area. Wonderful kind people: the owner and Khatun's assistant, special thanks to her, a very sincere person. They cook very tasty in a cafe nearby, on the territory of ducks, chickens, kitty). Gagra is a half-hour drive away, and Rizza is an hour away. I highly recommend this place 👍

The owner of this place, Himtsa, is an incredibly friendly and positive person!!! I want to return to Sunny Abkhazia, back, only to this place!!! There is a barbecue area on the territory, you can fry your own barbecue! There was a shuttle service to the sea every hour (the driver Astik, a sympathetic kid, our whole company, fell in love with him)) free, very convenient! The pastel and towels in the houses are all white, which is also very nice! We recommend it to everyone!!! Thanks!!!

A quiet place by the best sea. Clean, cozy, not expensive. The pool is large and clean, a barbecue area, cold and hot water in the rooms, air conditioning, a small refrigerator. A great place to stay, especially for a family. We had a rest in early August and rented a room, because we did not have time to rent a house.
The territory of the base is green and wooded. Leisure facilities for children include a playground, table tennis and a large swimming pool.
There is a barbecue area and tables with benches and a microwave.
The rooms are clean and cozy, they give out a full set, air conditioning works.
It is difficult to get to the sea: a steam train runs locally from the base, or you can rent a bicycle or your own car.
The host and staff are helpful and hospitable.
We definitely recommend it for a vacation.

Good evening! I finally got around to writing a review. We had a rest from August 13-23 in the junior suite. The room is simply gorgeous, clean, all amenities, the view from the balcony opens onto beautiful mountains, everything is impeccable.
The service is at the highest level, everyone is responsive and friendly to any question, please provide a quick response.
The food in the cafe is delicious, if you want to cook for yourself, there is a kitchen downstairs, a barbecue is everything you need.
The territory is simply gorgeous, the pool against the background of a bamboo grove, a lot of greenery, favorite figs, ducks that go every morning to eat figs, besides you.
The owner is just a generous, honest, kind, responsive, friendly person, unfortunately there are very few people like him. And accordingly, his whole team is also very good. Khatuna and her sisters, Varush, Madina, Tatiana, these are the ones with whom I had to communicate more.
We went to the beach by train, sometimes we walked on foot.
We enjoyed everything very much and we will be happy to come back again, as this is a really amazing, magical place.

Ilya was resting for 24 years, with a small child of 2 years and a dog (60-65 kg). We arrived at 8 a.m., we were immediately checked in, the house is simple, clean, the room has air conditioning - this is important in the south and when we checked in the room was cool, refrigerator, hair dryer, wardrobe. The territory is clean, lawn, Playground, swimming pool. We have to go to the sea, I don't know how much, we went, every hour a "steam train" from the hotel to the sea and back, for free, a couple of times we just rode with the child. On-site WiFi is working well. The owner and the administrator will always come to the rescue, prompt, help. There is a lot of space on the sea. THE NATURE IS VERY BEAUTIFUL! This is exactly the place for a family vacation.

We had a rest in July of the 24th year. We booked in advance based on the photo and description on the website. We read reviews, called the owner of Himse, talked with him, asked questions. As a result, this is the place we chose. I will try to be as objective as possible, I will tell you about all the pros and cons.
The advantages include the customer orientation of the owner himself and the people who work on the territory. They reacted very well to any request, tried to solve it quickly.
By the way, we did not have a TV in our room, but the children wanted to play a console in the evening - they just took us and brought a TV to the room for children. The air conditioner worked very poorly - it was repaired within a couple of days. If a basin or dishes were needed, an iron - all this was provided free of charge and at the first request.
Also, of the advantages, I will say about the territory of the holiday home itself - it is very large, there is a place for everyone, both children to run and adults to sit and barbecue. There is a great pool with a platform, both adults and children can swim in it, there are also sun loungers. There is a lot of greenery nearby, a separate love is a bamboo grove. We lived on the second floor of the house and in the evenings we sat on the balcony overlooking the mountains, it was cool!
It was convenient that you could watch the children from the balcony. There is also an impressive parking lot if you arrived in your car or rented it.
It is also worth noting from the advantages that there is a cafe on the territory of the guest house.
As for the cafe, it was quite tasty, but sometimes it was possible to wait a long time for dishes, orders could be mixed up.
Also, the disadvantages include cleanliness in the room, we had fungus and mold in the bathroom, which is strange, because silicone is not so expensive and difficult to update.. there was also a smell of sewage from the sink, because the siphon was not working correctly, the water in the shower tray was leaving very badly. There were no masking nets, although they now cost pennies, even on the door they can be installed.
It can also be noted that the guest house is located in the village of Alakhadzy, there is nothing to do there at all, it is very inconvenient to walk to the sea for 30 minutes on foot through the streets with cars. It is good if you have a car and you can easily get to Pitsunda or Gagra.
Well, perhaps the biggest disadvantage is the smell of burning. There is a district landfill nearby and garbage is burned on it every evening. We will be very lucky if the smoke does not come to you, but we were unlucky, we breathed smoke almost every evening. We asked the owner, the locals, opinions were divided, someone thinks that it lights up accidentally. And someone says that it is always burned on purpose, this is the kind of disposal.
I want to say right away that the owner of the Chemist is not to blame for this, but when asked directly on the phone, he evaded the answer and did not say that this is done regularly.
In any case, you should know about it.
To summarize, if the smell of burning does not bother you, you need the sea, no matter how far you go to it, then I recommend this holiday home to you. It is very fun and interesting for children here. In terms of price and quality, this is a good option!

Before the trip, we decided to call the host to find out some points and the first thing we get is an answer: "To confirm the reservation, transfer funds to some phone number that is not the one that was specified at the time of booking - or cancel the reservation!" We tried to find out why it is necessary to transfer money somewhere, it is unclear to which number, if it is written in Russian when booking: "Payment upon check-in", to which the owner began to get nervous and repeat - cancel the reservation if you consider my hotel to be scammers! Very strange behavior of the owner)) Of course, after so many tips to cancel the reservation, we did so))

Вокруг красивая природа, растет бамбук, можно любоваться.
Далеко от моря, только на машине. Пешком не удобно, гравийка, мимо ездят постоянно машины, поднимается пыль.

Большая территория, красивый вид, есть всё для комфортного проживания. Цена не завышена. Единственное чего не хватило, так это общей кухни, но на территории есть собственное кафе. А самое главное - это хозяин Химца Арсентевич. Всегда идёт на встречу по многим вопросам к гостям, всё от чистого сердца, а это всегда приятно. Рекомендуем 💯

There was no cleaning in the standard room for 6 days, no one changed the extinguished light bulb in the toilet. The bed creaked a lot. On the summer veranda, the floor was stained with drinks and dry leaves, no one washed it, they swept it themselves once. We walked to the beach for 25 minutes on foot, walked through the heat once, then drove by car. In a cafe nearby, more than half of the declared dishes were not on the menu.

Были с семьёй на майские праздники, нас 5 человек (2 взрослые и 3 детей).
Идеальный загородный отдых с детьми. Очень благодарны за тёплый приём, отпуск удался, чистые номера и места отдыха. Удачное расположение по отношению к пляжу - как раз хватает дороги, чтобы выгулять неуёмную энергию детей (до пляжа идти, с 4х леткой, около 35 минут). При этом не заблудишься. Вокруг великолепная природа, которую можно наблюдать вблизи и конечно же дышать полной грудью, вдыхая потрясающий воздух.
Если и возникали мелкие проблемы, они решались быстро. Атмосфера семейная, комфортная, но при этом нет назойливости от принимающей стороны.
Немного не хватало, лично мне, доступа к прачечной - трое детей, одежда на природе пачкается со скоростью света.

Очень удобный отель для тех, кто путешествует на машине. Приличная территория, гостеприимный хозяин и персонал. На территории есть кафе, в котором готовят волшебные национальные (и не только) блюда! До моря 20-25 минут пешком.

Пишу правду! Да, тихо, вдали от суеты, просторные номера и к кровати, белью вопросов нет. Всё хорошее на этом заканчилось.
1. Обещанных велосипедов - нет. Никто их не ремонтирует, приличных пара. До моря пешком 20 мин.по пыльной грунтовке. Только машина.
2. Отдельные домики расположены очень неудачно- весь день на веранде солнце, посидеть на ней не реально! И вечером тоже- комаров тьма.
3. Кафе действительно есть, но там ВСЁ дорого, в первый же вечер обсчитали.
4. Действительно, отключают электричество с 2 до 5 утра- даже воды не будет!
5. Wi-fi -нет его в домиках! На веранде ещё что-нибудь уловить можно, но!на ней находяться нереально(см.пункт 2)
6. Рядом помойка, ГОРОДСКАЯ! При нас нежгли. Но стоки её прямо в море! Кто ставит 5 звёзд- хоть иногда высовывайте нос дальше своего автомобиля и территории гостевого дома!
7. По поводу хозяина - нет там никакого "радушия". Только деньги: 5 из 6 пунктов можно легко исправить.
Совсем, вообще НЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ!

Номера достойные, просторные. Персонал вежливый, старательный. Оценку снизила из за очень далекой и неудобной дороги к морю. Электромобиль платный, но и его ддождаться большая проблема.

Мы довольны. С соседями на момент отдыха повезло, играли в спортивные игры, настольные. Дети были без гаджетов. Хозяевам благодарность❤️

Приехали в эти дома отдыха в начале сентября из Москвы и остались очень довольны!
Абсолютная тишина в пределах отельной зоны и чистота в номерах. Номера просторные и уютные. На территории находится шикарное кафе, где очень вкусно кормят, ребёнок был очень доволен блинами на завтрак и пиццей на ужин. До моря на машине 5 минут, пешком 20,но это не проблема. Пляж абсолютно пустой и мы получили от этого большое удовольствие. Хозяин очень гостипреимный и всегда был рад нам помочь. Вообще, всем советуем!!)

Каждую ночь воняло гарью. Оказалось рядом с этим местом еженочно горит большая деревенская мусорка. Кондишен не включить, ибо с 3 ночи до 6 утра выключает администрация свет. Экономит, наверное. Зачем? Поэтому бесполезно что-то хранить в холодильнике и уж тем более в морозилке. За 14 дней нам только 2 раза поменяли белье и то нам пришлось настойчиво попросить, хотя обещали каждые 4 дня. Телевизора в номере нет. Кухни тоже. Wi-fi тоже отсутствует ибо хозяин его пускает на майнинг. За 3 дня до отъезда сломался кондиционер, сообщили хозяину. Результата ноль. Все текло прямо в номер. Мы сами эту воду вычерпывали. Огромный минус- это слышимость. Слышно, как соседи ходят, пукают, писают, сморкаются и пр. Если ещё и дети, то вообще хандец. Видимо хозяин очень жадный, поэтому так.
