On the Talgar highway, to the east, not reaching Talgar 6 km., turn right, 1 km. There is a small shop opposite the main entrance, where you can park a dozen cars without going to the sanatorium. The sanatorium is small, food prices are high, and accommodation is above average. It is impossible to call this place high-altitude, even with a big stretch...mounds, most likely.
