It's a very beautiful place. There is a place to drink a cup of tea and enjoy the views. Everything is equipped for outdoor activities in winter 👍

We have been visiting this ski resort for many years. For beginner skiers, it is a better resort than Lesnaya Skazka and Shymkent. There is a "black track" for professionals. We love Akbulak very much. Rating 4, because the management of the resort does not do anything for development:
1. For 5-7 years they can't mend the driveway, it's full of holes;
2. Online payment for the ski pass is not organized, there are long queues at the ticket office on weekends;
3. There are no normal cafes where you can eat, just have a snack with sandwiches (by the way, they are very tasty);
4. The hotel itself is of a scoop type, it needs renovation;
5. The steam seats and gondolas leave much to be desired, updates are needed.
As a result, I wish Akbulak prosperity and development.

There was one day on Oi-Karagai, it may be interesting for beginners, I did not go at all, the lift is very slow, the descents are short, there was very little snow in January. Also, the skipass is more expensive by 2000 tenge than on Cimbulak, it is also not close to get there, in short there is nothing to catch there, only a beautiful descent into a forest fairy tale through a spruce forest

On 12/29.23, the instructors and the security service closed the upper ski lift for skiers and used it exclusively for their own skiing on a free track, on freshly fallen snow.
In my opinion, this is lawlessness and arbitrariness. I hope the management will investigate this and take action.
I say "thank you" to the security service - I will not come to you again. I will spend my money at other ski resorts.

Ak Bulak is located near the city, but the road takes an hour and a half, due to the fact that there is a very heavy traffic flow in the direction of Talgar. But it's worth going there. Unlike Cimbulac, there is no crowd, there are not many people, the air is much cleaner than on Cimbulac. It's a pleasure to ride.

Who hasn't been yet is worth a visit!
I rode cheesecakes - fly away! I rented it with a plastic bottom. Don't take your own ones with a polyethylene bottom out of the house - they won't let you in. Only plastic!
And so the guys are skiing and snowboarding!

Friends, why is there no dividing line at the entrance in the indoor lift below? It is impossible not to go into the booth and get out of it. It is necessary to put a delimiter so that people first calmly leave, and then others calmly enter. A controller is also needed. Due to the lack of order, there is a queue, and 5-6 people rise in the booths instead of 8.

The resort itself is good.
But it has been in need of cosmetic repairs for at least a couple of years.
The booths are dirty, the turnstiles are living out their days, the benches feel like they've been standing since the Soviet Union.
The price tag relative to other resorts is not much different.

A good resort, comfortable cable cars, thoughtful trails, a good and safe children's tubing track. The compartment with a great location makes this place wonderful and pleasant to visit. The tracks are monitored, there are instructors.
