Mixed feelings: the cafe is clean, cool, there is a decent toilet, a lot of things are cooked to order with you, not for very long. The prices are not cheap, the pricing is strange, two small pancakes are more expensive than two cheesecakes. A large chicken chop is cheaper, chicken in cheese and cream sauce (a tiny portion, only the bones of the back and wings, although my husband said it was delicious). The choice of dishes is not large, from what was ordered, I liked the boat, chicken chop and potatoes in a rustic way. The waitress seems to be a nice woman, smiling, trying to serve quickly, but there was some irritation with the guests, maybe she was already tired by the end of the season, she seemed to be recording the order, there were few people or we were alone, well, something would not bring ("you didn't order it"), the truth was quickly corrected.
A great, stylish hotel) We got there by accident, but we were satisfied. Large, comfortable room; clean, linen, towels, refrigerator, TV, WiFi. Its own cafe, closed territory and Parking. The sea is 5 minutes away. The friendly host.

The owners continue construction in symbiosis with foreign specialists during the hot season. The roar of the grinder, the lifting of building materials to the upper floors, the work of electric saws, hammers, the screams of foreign specialists. To the repeated complaints of vacationers from the owners, they received the answer: "Okay, we'll take it into account." And everything goes on. People came to rest for a lot of money. A 2-bed room per day costs 30 times more expensive than living (I mean rent) in a 1-room apartment in a million-plus city. The work continues from morning to evening with a break for 1 hour from 14 to 15. Alas... We won't come here again, even when the construction is over. There is no need to expect understanding and courtesy from the owners of the hotel.
My husband and I spent a long time choosing where to stay in Gagra. As a result, we chose the Aymara Hotel. And they didn't regret it at all!!! The room is clean, cozy, with air conditioning and a comfortable 2-bedroom bed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is a cafe at the hotel. The food there is VERY tasty. Respect to the chefs. The territory is clean, cleaned daily in the morning. It's a five-minute walk to the sea. There are always free places and sun beds on the beach. In general, we are satisfied!!!
When booking a hotel, I was led to positive reviews, but in vain! There is no attitude towards the guests, rudeness in everything, you can't ask a question, they immediately snap at everything "What do you want from me", we don't want anything, we just asked standard questions. I also booked a room with a balcony and a beautiful view from the window, but in fact someone else's yard and an abandoned vegetable garden, I had to close the balcony with curtains so that the neighbors would not look. We were refused to change the room, as the other one with the promised view was already occupied. The 50% prepayment is not refundable, I had to stay. The bathroom is not at all clear for whom it is designed, it is very narrow, the door barely opens. There was no soap or shampoo in the room. The only positive things are the breakfasts, the cute dog on the premises and the woman who cleans the hotel. She was the only one who smiled, greeted and went out to get the keys when they checked out, and the hotel administrator sat with her back and did not even say goodbye. This fact surprised me at all. There is no reception in this hotel, there is a woman in the cafe building who performs the function of an administrator, a waiter and always a dissatisfied person. Once again, I didn't even want to go up and buy something there or find out. Because of this attitude and the lack of comfort in general, I did not like the rest in Gagra. I do not recommend it.

Aimara booked the hotel in February. The decision was spontaneous, as she boasted that she had chosen a hotel with a good rating in Abkhazia for the summer. I had to take out children with an allergic reaction to birch during the flowering season in the middle zone - the end of April and the beginning of May. I decided - they praise, so we take it. In February, I phoned–Lisa of the hotel was talking very kindly on the other end of the line (later we will find out, the daughter of the hotel owner). The season started on May 1, but we were allowed to arrive on April 27. I sent the money to the card (a friend from the travel business scolded me for a long time for this). But we were not deceived, our rooms were ready to move in on April 27 at first glance.
Astamur (the owner of the hotel) and Lisa (his daughter) solemnly informed us that they were not giving us ordinary rooms, but studios. What was the difference between the studio? There was a couch. But there were no cupboards (in general), things could only be stored in a suitcase, there were no bedside tables, there was no kettle or at least mugs (none). Since there was no food nearby during the off-season, it was only a 15-minute walk to the left or right. And since there was no kettle, you can't even drink tea at home. The Aimara restaurant is only opening in a few weeks. The owner said you can eat for a fee at Chelyuskintsev - the hotel is nearby. We went there - they were surprised, refused. We, in turn, go to Astamur- at least give us a kettle, at least put it on the floor. He refused, did not give the kettle, again said that he would talk to the owner Chelyuskintsev. I talked, but, honestly, it was a whole hassle, they seemed to allow it, but they looked at us in the Chelyuskintsev restaurant very irritably. They stopped going there.
They turned on the shower- the pipes malfunctioned due to the off-season, the room flooded. They ran to the owner, they sealed it up in front of us.
In parallel, the hotel has been undergoing renovation all this time. It's normal, with dust and the sounds of a drill. But we are not in season, we endure for the time being.

Yes, and there is no street, this street- there is no courtyard in the hotel- Tajiks walk there with repairs, just outside the gate of the house railway tracks, then a highway, then hotels, then wet pebbles by the sea. You won't walk for a long time. And there is nowhere. As I imagined, my allergy sufferers would not breathe sea air from the balcony - repair dust on the balcony, and Tajik repairmen in cradles outside the windows.
Gagra is empty at this time. At 11 a.m. on the fifth day, I call Astamur to the rumbling sounds of a drill (on this day, the sounds of repairs were deafening, it was raining outside). I say, we have nowhere to get away from its repair, I understand that it is preparing for the season with guests, but we are also guests. Gagra is empty at this time, and we have somewhere to go. I thought she would say: "be patient for a couple of hours," and he: "Oh, so, the eviction is at 12!". Me: "Oh, that's good." Did you think that I would beg you to stay?
My company: my 80-year-old mother with sticks, three teenagers and me. We need to pack up in an hour and find a place to live. And he does not give me the money for the remaining period immediately (7 more days have been paid). An interesting situation. I scooped up all the Gagra telephones, urgently called the numbers from the advertisements. I found a wonderful place for the same money. Right by the sea, with good infrastructure around. Wonderful hosts. Very lucky.
After 5 days, Astamur returned the money. He was polite. He said, "Don't think that we are bad." But what should I think? My unsportsmanlike company and I were kicked out of the hotel for an hour without money, as we did not want to listen and inhale the repairs. Honestly, I've never been a brawler. There have never been any problems, but there is a limit to everything. I wrote a review a few months later, I wanted to keep a cool head (and I had to find time to paint the whole story), and I didn't plan to spoil the season for him, but those who arrive at the beginning of the trail. I have to warn you.
And so the nature of Abkhazia is beautiful. One of the most beautiful. But I will not go so indiscriminately, without finding out everything about the hotel and about the owners.

Breakfast is included, but only for 500 rubles, you have to pay extra for the rest, it was especially unpleasant, given that there were four of us. With a room price of 9,000, this is some kind of a tiny thing, taking another 200-300 rubles for tea. The air conditioner was old, it was quite difficult for him to work, it is clear that he had not been serviced for a long time. There is only one card from the room and there will be no light without it, so we drove into the room boiling from the heat, I inserted the bank card and did not take it out again, so as not to get baked. There was no hot water during the day, it feels like they turn off the boiler and turn it on only in the evening when guests come from the beaches. On the last day, we decided to leave before breakfast, which I warned the staff about, no one offered to make sandwiches on account of the included breakfast. It is clear that a lot of money has been poured into the interiors, and the service is near zero, it would be possible to make the rest of the guests much more pleasant with a minimum of effort.

A very cozy courtyard, a pleasant room, a convenient location, it's not far to the sea, just go down through the territory of the neighboring Nart hotel complex and you will find yourself on a free clean beach. The hotel has its own cafe with very tasty cuisine and reasonable prices. People from neighboring hotels were periodically met here, who came there just to have a snack, because they liked it here more. We did not regret for a minute that we chose the Aymara hotel, we were impressed by the vacation, we were in Abkhazia for the first time and I want to come here again and again!

Hello everyone! In June 2022, Aimara Hotel (guest house) was vacationing in Gagra. Yes, we've been looking for a long time... even taxi drivers are not very oriented and Google maps in Abkhazia are lying ((, but they found it. If you are going to this landmark hotel in front of the Chelyuskintsev rest house. Arrived in the morning, our room (without balcony with mountain view) I was busy and we were placed in a room with a large balcony and a view towards the sea. After 3 days we moved into our room, The hotel and the territory are very clean, and every day the room is not cleaned, but if you ask the receptionist, they will do everything for you. Breakfast was included, but we often had lunch and dinner at the on-site cafe. It is very tasty and the serving is on the level) On our dates, the wonderful Katya and Janine worked in the cafe, if there are any suggestions on the menu, they will definitely cook. There is a railway road next to the hotel, but since we got up early, it did not bother us. The beach is on the territory of the Chelyuskintsev rest house, 5-10 min walk. Access to the territory is free, but it is a huge plus that all the children from our hotel used the animation of the holiday home for free: exercise, creative workshop, evening disco, karaoke. We stayed at this hotel in early August. Positive:meals and a large balcony. That's where the advantages end. The room itself is certainly not small, but there are big problems with cleanliness. The windows are all covered in dust, the carpet on the floor is stained. And the toilet and shower are a separate song. The toilet is very dirty. It is simply not possible to wash in the shower, because then there is just a flood, since the water does not drain. There is no hood at all in the toilet, instead there is a window. The owner doesn't want to listen to anything at all. Position: if you don't like it, leave. The reception is not clear what it is made for when there is no one there. The room key card was given one that turns on the electricity, respectively, everything turns off when you leave. You come to a room where it's stuffy, although you could turn on the air conditioner at this time. And this despite the fact that the room is not cheap. But the owner still has advice:it is necessary to listen to the guests, and eliminate shortcomings, and not enter into ambitions.I will definitely not come to this hotel!

We were checked in at 8 p.m. due to the fact that the girls staying in our room had a train in the evening, but they brazenly lied to us that they had technical problems. We talked to them personally! We demanded the owner, but they told us that he was at work. After "checking in" it turned out that our sewer was clogged (you can't swim!) and we were offered to sit and wait in the room for a plumber, despite the fact that we never went to dinner! Upon the arrival of the owner, he began to talk to us as if we had committed a crime in front of him. His suggestion was to return the prepayment to us and go look for another hotel around 10 p.m. As a result, he just brought my wife to tears, and after she said that you can't do that and just for the future, don't do that to people - he just started yelling at her! As a result, we were checked in at 10 pm. We were refunded the cost for half a day, this decision was made by my wife, since we stayed in Gagra for only 3 days and all days were scheduled for sightseeing. I agreed, so as not to rattle her nerves any further. However, no one apologized for the spoiled start of the vacation and the feeling that you were just doused with a bucket of garbage in a foreign country, and I am generally silent about compensation. I put one ball on the breakfasts - they are really delicious!

We booked a standard room and a TWO-room room with a balcony overlooking the SEA, paid for it. Upon arrival, they settled into a standard room WITHOUT a balcony, overlooking the backyard, convincing us that the rooms are ambiguous!!! No difference in money was returned! They did not want to relocate, they also made us guilty that we demand what we paid for!!!
"Room with a sea view" is a room with a view of an operating railway, a highway and a multi-storey boarding house. The sea is not visible from any point of the hotel!
The yard is small, which is constantly being renovated. They pour concrete, putty, drill, rattle all day. And in the evening, these workers drink loudly under the windows, make noise and interfere with sleep. It's scary to let children out of the room into the courtyard.
Breakfast is included in the price, BUT not more than 500 rubles per room, regardless of how many people live there.
There is no full-length mirror anywhere in the hotel!!! Just the bathroom mirror.
The sewer system is not working properly. In the shower, you stand ankle-deep in dirty water, which goes away for a very long time afterwards. But the main feature of the hotel is the toilet! Even if you are not in the room all day, upon arrival you will have a toilet full of, apparently, neighbor's waste :))) And so it has been all week!
There was no remote control for the air conditioner in the room. We've been looking for him for three days.
The card from the room, which includes all electricity, is ONE. We left for the whole day - everything is rotten in the refrigerator!
Lunch and dinner are not 300 rubles, as stated. And the prices are actually like in a cafe by the sea.
In the yard, all sorts of junk is crammed into all corners: broken swings, old sofas, fragments of chairs. In the center of the courtyard there is a Fountain from the shower head :))))

We booked a room at the booking office 2 months before the holiday (July 2021), paid an advance payment by transfer to the card, which I think is strange.
1.5 weeks before the holiday, they wrote that they had a system failure and there was simply NO room for us. I wonder which system, if it's a small hotel where there's just no program!!!!
It turns out that we were simply left without a room, and it is impossible to find a normal place in such a short period of time. As a result, the rest was ruined.
To our indignation, they only said that it was not customary for them to talk like that. And it's okay to treat clients like that.
Naturally, there is no compensation.
Poor location, the main road is noisy, it's unrealistic how you live on the highway.
