It's been an absolute pleasure to dine in Afsona. The place is, first of all, visually appealing with its interior successfully blending traditional Uzbek attributes with contemporary minimalistic design, complimented with dimmed warm lighting. The staff is welcoming and helpful. I would also point out that the waiters were quite professional, which as we later noticed, was not that common in Tashkent. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Uzbek dishes. We did not have to wait long for our food to arrive. It was made of fresh and delicious veggies as well as meat. I would recommend Tavuk Say which kinda reminded me of classic Georgian chakhakhbili - it was fantastic. Cheburek and Samsa were also nice, so were the crispy eggplant salad and plov. I was surprised to see the bar menu so large and diverse, it had both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We got ourselves buckthorn tea and an NA Pina Colada - both were good.
I would def recommend visiting if you want to try traditional high quality Uzbek cuisine for quite a reasonable price
🤜🏻🤛🏻
Very good place to try Uzbek local cuisine which is less fatty, less spicy, more healthy than other places. Interior modern designed, quick service and good ambiance.
Very nice menu of national foods. Prices are reasonable, and the food is very tasty. The personnel is courteous and helpful. Highly recommended for national food.
This restaurant of national Uzbek cuisine is just a godsend! The menu here is not ordinary: in addition to traditional pilaf, you can try, for example, vegan pilaf with fruits. Although I really love classic pilaf, this meat-free option was just fine. Excellent chebureks are also prepared here.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, the service is at a high level, everyone is polite and attentive. This is a great place to hike with foreigners and guests of the capital. The food here is adapted, not as heavy as quite traditional, but at the same time the spirit of national cuisine is preserved, which makes it suitable even for unprepared stomachs. In addition to Uzbek dishes, there are also European dishes on the menu.
The location of the restaurant is also very convenient. I definitely recommend it for a visit!
Others have noted here . I liked everything!
Beautiful serving of dishes, fast, pleasant atmosphere, all the dishes are very tasty, cool waiters. The price tag is average in the city.
The lamb kebab is very good, only small. The achuchuk is delicious, but the pilaf disappointed, although I took the most expensive. Not fragrant, not fragrant, the mutton inside is so dry that I even decided that it was beef. But the waiter confirmed that it was mutton.
Baklava with walnuts is essentially a cake with boiled condensed milk. They say the soups are delicious, but I haven't tried them yet. I'm disappointed with what I've tried.
Delicious.
Personally, I liked the dolma: the tender, juicy meat. The most delicious dolma in Uzbekistan)
An ordinary vegetable salad is also unusually tasty due to the addition of tarragon and other spicy herbs.
I definitely recommend it.
Thank you for a wonderful lunch. You have exceeded our expectations. Everything was fresh and delicious. Special thanks for the ginger tea and the divine baklava.
Afson's Restaurant
I have been visiting these establishments for more than 2 years
As always, the cuisine is absolutely delicious
I would like to ask you to add something new to the menu.
In general, everything is fine, as well as your staff
Thanks!
On March 30, it was the only restaurant where we were not denied a taste of pilaf. He was there. The pilaf is delicious, by the way. The atmosphere and service were very pleasant. Helpful staff.
The most important plus is probably the quality of the products, so the food is definitely recommended 🤓 For those who want to try local cuisine while not gaining much weight is ideal 😅 In its niche, the national restaurant for foreign guests of the capital, this is one of the best establishments. It is always clean, many waiters speak both English and Russian, the terminal is brought to the table, this is important, plus there are business lunches)
Of the cons, probably: the worn-out form of the waiters, only 4 tables on the open veranda (there is a glazed terrace), the interior should be updated, well, and expand the range of the bar)
pros: the atmosphere, the taste of the dishes.
Cons: it's a bit expensive.
the toilet is clean, for me it is an indicator of the conscientiousness of the restiks.
The reviews are fake — don't be fooled. Long serving of dishes, while everything is heated in the microwave.
It tastes exactly 2 out of 5. I haven't eaten such an average samsa and eel in a long time.
I don't recommend it. Neither by ourselves, nor with the guests.

The minimum rating, and that's why:
we came to Uzbekistan for the first time, and while in Tashkent we decided to taste national dishes.
We chose an institution by rating.
The restaurant has an open kitchen area – most of the employees are clearly local, which they certainly know how to cook national dishes (spoiler alert – no).
First, there are many running menu items in the stop list. The lamb kebab is not brought to taste, the meat is without salt and spices, as if it were not pickled at all. The whole thing is overcooked, as the pieces are extra small and simply burned in the grill. The portion was tiny, and besides, there were just pieces of fried fat without meat...
there was only vinegar in the salad dressing, it tasted bad.
A flatbread (just some kind of flatbread!!!) they managed to roast it to a bitter crust. After asking for her replacement, employees began to look around the corner and look askance, who, they say, did not like their work)))
The apotheosis was the pilaf, forgotten by the waiter at the distribution, which already turned out to be "flat" in taste, and even cooled down! Moreover, 3 dishes were ordered in total, and even then the waiter did not cope!
Taking into account the "super maintenance", it was not planned to leave a tip, especially since 15% is included in the check. We waited a long time for the change ...
a lot of show-offs are not enough!
Pilaf and samsa. Pilaf and samsa. Pilaf and samsa.
That was all I had in my head. I got there. Everything is fine now. Nice.
Maybe it's a glass of Uzbek wine... well, or I'm drunk with samsa…
I'm attaching the photos.
It's a beautiful place. delicious green salad and medallions . clean, fast. without excess fat, as happens in Uzbek cuisine.
on Friday evening, however, it is noisy in the hall
Afson's restaurant is a national cuisine that I like, the service is very good, the staff is very pleasant and polite. Keep it up, you guys are very good☺️☺️☺️
Everything is incredibly delicious! Pilaf, manti, shah, giant cheburek -they just couldn't leave. They crawled away with their bellies bursting. The waiters also respect, they changed the plates 5 times, they constantly asked if they needed anything, despite the fact that it was unobtrusive. And at the end of the evening, a present from the chef was served-a crumbly, fragrant watermelon. Tashkent's hospitality is revealed here. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!
Cozy cafe, delicious food and very polite staff. I come here to eat pilaf. Yummy! The tortillas are awesome! I recommend it!

1. Cocktail "Oriental bazaar" - served in a cocktail glass from zero. Too sweet, not impressed
2. Samsa with spinach and cheese is good, you can have more cheese and there will be a fire in general. Why there is tomato sauce for samsa is not very clear
3. Unfiltered beer with a strange smell and taste. That's probably what it was meant to be, but it wasn't very
4. There was no sauce in the crispy eggplant salad. I expected to see sweet Chili there.
5. Cheburek was served cold, we asked to bring us a hot cheburek. They brought a warmed cheburek that we had bitten into. Well, it's not done that easily
6. Manta rays with trout. All the dishes are written about allergens, including onions. The mantas turned out to be with onions, they were not eaten
For the first time in Tashkent, we went to have lunch. Everything that was ordered was very tasty. For two we took: eggplant salad, vegetable salad (I don't remember the name), a plate of pilaf, lamb kebab, mojito and local water. The staff is good, we were served by Dierbi. The prices are adequate. We were very satisfied, thank you!
In my opinion, the best restaurant in Tashkent, but like everywhere else they forgot to bring something, in Uzbekistan the standard of service is very low
Everything is delicious, but a weak ventilation system and hood, the cooking area allows the smell of cooking food to escape into the visitors' hall and music interferes with communication. The average check of 100-150 thousand with alcohol is slightly higher. I really liked the salads.
Excellent restaurant, the food is traditional, delicious, the service is fast, the waiters are attentive.

Delicious national cuisine. The waiters are courteous. We clarified about the serving of dishes, offered to bring some earlier (although we first asked for everything together) to keep them warm. Such a dialogue with the client is very pleasant. Well done guys. Definitely I want to come again and again
The traditional dishes and menus are very nice. The service quality of the venue design and service team is very high.A great choice for giving guests who come to Tashkent a taste of traditional dishes
Not really, shish kebab for Slavs is not very good at all, 7 pieces of them are 3 chicken and it's for 6 bucks.
Iranian baklava is a dry cake flight from the store.
They carry it for a long time
