A spacious and nice restaurant with pleasant prices. A large selection of kebabs and salads – there will definitely be something to taste. Please note that pilaf is only available on request for holidays and events, and alcoholic beverages are not served in the restaurant. I especially liked the beef and lamb kebab, as well as the fried eggplant salad – I recommend it!
After visiting the mosque and the market, we were looking for a place to eat, thanks for the feedback - they played a crucial role!
Everything is very tasty! Samsa and manta rays are great! You can eat it with your fingers!)))
We ordered for two: flatbread, Samarkand salad, cabbage soup, two mini samsa, a portion of mantas, lamb and beef kebab, assorted vegetables, new potatoes, tea, and urik (compote). 330t came out.C. with service. The feed is fast and everything is gradual, as needed!
I definitely recommend it!
Great place! Very tasty shish kebab. Beautiful presentation and high-quality service. The prices are more than acceptable for such quality. Large halls. We were on a day off at lunchtime - we found a comfortable table without any problems.
I recommend you to visit!
While walking after visiting the oldest market in Samarkand, we noticed this restaurant. It is located on a mountain, next to a very old Muslim cemetery! The cuisine and service are decent. The restaurant is very popular with locals. Big tables, big companies. The showcase with a variety of kebabs looks great, you can choose . And.. the restaurant does not serve alcohol!
We were in January, and we couldn't cook all the dishes on the menu. All the dishes that were ordered were a delight. Really, very tasty. Lamb shish kebab is the softest and juiciest I've ever tasted! The place is very atmospheric, the service is at the level of a well-positioned institution. I liked everything very much. I can safely recommend you to visit. Yaxshi ishtaha )
Very tasty meat dishes!! The staff is polite and friendly, most of them speak Russian. The room is huge, there are many seats, there is a huge terrace with a view. If you want to drink coffee, you won't be able to do it here. I highly recommend it, we visited this restaurant several times during our week in the city!
The food was delicious. Desserts are on fire. Delicious meatballs on fire with beef, delicious samsushki. Friendly staff. We went with the whole family, everyone really liked everything. 2 salads, two samuski, cutlets with fries, tea, desserts - 220 thousand soums with service.
A good place for a quick lunch after a walking tour. The dishes were prepared promptly. It's simple, without frills. It is located in a very interesting place, on a mountain, where the ancient settlement of Afrasiab (ruins of ancient Samarkand) was previously located.
Delicious and beautiful! Perfectly conveys the atmosphere of Samarkand! Polite staff, unobtrusively asked if everything was okay, if they liked everything. And what a delicious tea, words cannot describe.
A cool market where you can buy nuts, sweets, ceramics, spices, fresh vegetables and fruits. Then there are clothes and industrial goods.
I recommend hot tortillas and freshly squeezed pomegranate juice.
The prices are much nicer than we ate in the center. In addition, everything is cooking faster. If you don't get arrogant with the amount, then you can pour it into plastic with your alcohol. The commission is also a massive 10 percent. In short, for two to have a hearty meal 250 t. sum
We came here based on the reviews
They sat me down at a table, and they carried the menu for more than 20 minutes, until I got up, found a waiter, and asked for it. this is despite the fact that at most 5 tables were occupied in 2 halls and the veranda
, there were no napkins on the table, exactly 2 pieces were brought (according to the number of people at the table) and just put on the table
lamb kebab for three, chicken wings soaked in a huge amount of marinade, the taste of the bird is not felt
They waited 15 minutes for the bill, 10 minutes for the change.
The staff is in no hurry, they chat with each other, it doesn't matter to the visitors
I don't recommend
it, I would have given it 1 star, but then you wouldn't have published a review.
Among the advantages, a large hall, beautiful decoration. That's probably it.
Everything is disgusting in terms of service, the waiter who will serve you may just leave and they will forget about you, they may change him, but he may also disappear.
The food also leaves much to be desired, but there are also delicious dishes.
There is simply no bar menu with drinks, which is very strange for such a large establishment.
All tables are close, if you sit down unsuccessfully to the aisle, you will be constantly kicked.
The place is super, we were sitting on the cot outside, very cozy and colorful. There are no questions about food, nor about service. Everything is fast and delicious.
I liked the cafe so much that we only went to it in Samarkand :)
Firstly, the service is terrible.
The staff absolutely does not know in what order to give the dishes.
First, a slightly warm barbecue was brought, after 15 minutes and three reminders to the waiter, fresh vegetables were finally brought, which were ordered for the barbecue.
Absolute ignorance of what a stop list is.
Secondly, the quality of the barbecue, as well as the size, leave much to be desired.
Shish kebab along with small bones and veins that are not chewed. (In the photo)
Uzbek dumplings are just a boiled piece of dough in a puddle. (Also in the photo)
The tortilla is cold, not from normal dough, but from something crumbly.
But the interior is promising.
One of the worst establishments in Samarkand.
It will be tastier, cheaper and safer to eat at the market.
The advantage is only the interior and design of the restaurant. We are very disappointed to visit this place.
There is no coffee beans, there is no coffee machine. They offer only instant. Caesar salad is very greasy, it feels like the whole pack of mayonnaise is being poured out.
There are no Oriental sweets either.
Only cheesecake(
We ordered baked fish. Brought with hair(
My appetite is gone. They got up and left.
I recommend you to visit. It's beautiful, sooo tasty and not expensive. Shish kebab 23000 soums, Shurpa is the tastiest, not greasy. About 1000 rubles were paid for dinner for two. A lot of locals is an indicator of good cuisine.
It's a very nice, cozy place. Good serving of dishes. The French fries were delicious, but the lamb shish kebab and liver shish kebab seemed a little dry.
Excellent restaurant, visited several times. It's a wonderful place.
The food is simply amazing, the service is 10 points.
There is a large parking lot if you come with guests or with a large family.
The food is delicious. The cuisine is mixed (European and Uzbek). Baklava is wonderful, the most delicious I've ever tasted. The service is wonderful, everything was explained and prompted. There are two halls: the first, at the entrance, is more calm, music is playing in the second (apparently, a show program). We were in January, the room is warm and cozy, unlike the two places where we were the day before, it's cool there in jackets.

If there's a better place in Samarkand, we haven't reached it.
If you find fault, you can blame a fairly simple toilet and some distance from the old town, the rest for 5.
The food was excellent: salads / kebabs / lemonades were very tasty. There wasn't anything like wow in the other eateries.
The service is attentive and fast (but we were in winter, there weren't many people).
The interiors are decent, you can sit with taste, not at an oilcloth table, at the same prices as in this restaurant.
There is a paradox with prices in Uzbekistan, wherever you go, it's about the same everywhere. Pilaf - 40k soums, shish kebab - 20-30 per stick.
The single-digit top five
We were full on Sunday, the waiters and cooks were great, we did everything in time. According to the oriental design, the kebabs are delicious. Thank you.
A wonderful restaurant! One of the best in the old city of Samarkand. If you sit on the veranda, you will have a view of the Bibi Khanum Mosque, towering over the modern city, and the city market. The view is unique. The restaurant itself is located on the territory of the ancient city of Afrasiab, which was here before Alexander the Great founded Marakanda (the original Samarkand). All this creates a special atmosphere.
The restaurant has cozy beds, beautiful carved columns and beautiful views. The food is good, although there is not everything on the menu. They cook well, but it also happens to be tastier (for example, in a Plane tree). However, the prices here are not high at all — you can eat well for 100-150 sums ($ 7-10).
In addition, there are several historical sites within walking distance from this place: Afrosiab, Holy Khizr, Shah Izinda, the market and Bibi Khanum.
In general, I fell in love with this place, and I hope you will like it too.
An awesome place with a colorful design, the kitchen is simply a masterpiece. Such a beautiful, cozy and peaceful place with excellent service and very tasty cuisine. The price and quality are super👍
There are no comments on the kitchen. But the service did not work right away:at first, the waiters waited a long time to place an order ("I thought you had already ordered"), and then, when it turned out that there was no ordered corn for the barbecue, I asked them to bring the menu to choose something in return. I managed to choose a new dish, my mother managed to finish her order, and the barbecue was already brought here... and the waiter (whom I asked at least 2 times to call through other staff) was still not there. It was only when I asked another passing waiter why pay the 10% included in the receipt for a service that was not there that my waiter appeared. And he told me that he had been away for so long because he was talking... with my mother, whom I haven't seen for a long time.
Of course, I understand that the guy is bored, family ties are sacred, but why should the client suffer because of this?
We ruined lunch, the mood and the first impression of the restaurants in Samarkand.
Inexpensive as everywhere in Samarkand, the waiters do not know who needs something - they ask, shish kebab, chicken fillet and thigh fillet are on the menu, they just ordered fillet, brought thigh fillet - they said that it was the same thing, the flatbread was not brought fresh, there are no drinks on the menu - everything is in words, but there is a lot - inconvenient. I ordered two tortillas, and they brought one. There are three of us, they brought one menu, I went and took it myself - there's a whole stack, they cook on ordinary coal, they light it with a fan behind the cafe

Recently we visited Afrosiyob cafe and tasted lagman, fruit tea and brain bones on coals. Lagman was pleasantly surprised by the rich taste with the perfect combination of spices, tender meat, with perfect noodles and fresh vegetables. The fruit tea was a great accompaniment, it was refreshing and slightly sweet thanks to the natural fruits. The marrow bones on the coals are simply delicious, with a delicate texture and smoky aroma. We recommend Afrosiyob to explore Uzbek cuisine!
We came here after reading the reviews. I'm sorry, but I can't give you more than three: dirty and stained tablecloths that were replaced only after the request, sleepy flies, waiters who need to be caught, mutton overcooked with veins. Never set foot in here again. If it wasn't for dessert, it would have been really depressing.
Great place, delicious, service is fast, clean (except for the toilet, but this is a problem everywhere). We were on New Year's holidays - the interior was very well additionally decorated. You can order half a serving of large dishes.
The place is good, but the cubicles in the women's restroom are very small. You need to sit on the toilet, leaving the door open. The waiters also have to wait a long time until they come and take the order.
So-so cuisine, so-so service as a whole does not correspond to either the place or the "glory", thank you for a ruined weekend, your pilaf is legendary, your barbecue manages to spoil your appetite from the first bite
The photos match. The food is delicious. The tea is good. The toilets are girls on the right, boys on there. Different sides of the hall from the entrance. There is no alcohol. Live music. A comfortable place. The price is 1200rubles for two people without fanaticism.
The food is normal. Barbecue for 4. There are a lot of meat dishes and lamb and beef and chicken. The staff is nimble, helpful, friendly, but not all young waiters communicate well enough in Russian - they have to resort to the help of their elders. The atmosphere is pleasant, although the room is not very cozy because of the huge areas. The toilet is decent, which is a rarity for Uzbekistan and even Samarkand - many cafes /restaurants even in the very center near the Rijistan Square do not have a toilet - one for 10 pieces in the entire district. The waiting time is surprisingly short - but this seems to be typical for Uzbekistan.
Good service and traditional cuisine.
For me, the main thing is the proximity to Registan.

One of my favorite places in Samarkand. The service is lame, of course, but it's like everywhere else. But it's very tasty and the design is amazing. It is very spacious and cozy at the same time. I advise both tourists and locales
