I visited this beautiful place for the first time 😍 Abkhazia is a country of the soul and it is such wonderful people who work here, Taya, Emma, Marina, Araik , and there is this very piece of the soul 🥰 Always responsive, kind , tasty food , sincere conversation . I felt as if I had come to my family and it was so sad to leave this cozy corner , where these bees work from early morning until late at night , so that all vacationers would be comfortable . Any request will be treated with all attention and will try to help. Everything is simple, clean, cozy at home. The territory is improved , sun beds , swings , always a clean pool , gazebos 🔥Huge thanks to such sincere , hospitable people 😊 ❤ The city is within walking distance if you want to walk or take a taxi inexpensively ) and at the same time peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the city .The sea is nearby , clean . I highly recommend this hotel!!! ☝️🔥

Like it. It is located near New Athos. The half-empty beach is a 10-minute walk away, the sea is clean, the coast is clean. A grocery store is nearby. The hotel itself, although modest, has a very cozy courtyard, a good pool with fresh clean water (8m by 10m, depth 1.5 m.) you can swim. Illuminated at night. There are gazebos on the territory. A cozy dining room-cafe. The food is delicious and varied. The hosts are friendly, they can always prompt and help. The rooms are really small, the bed linen is clean, new. The rooms have good air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, TV.

We had a rest in July 2024. Definitely 5 stars, for economy class!!! The rooms are simple, but everything you need is there. A large, clean, well-groomed territory, a gorgeous swimming pool. Special thanks to the staff! Open, hospitable people. Emma is the goddess in the kitchen, she will always feed you tasty and satisfying (the portions are gigantic), Thea is the golden administrator who manages everything, Macaw, your barbecue, fish and coffee have conquered our hearts! We had a rest in September 2023. It 's only now that we 've reached the stage of a recall . I really liked the subtropical nature and the clean warm sea in Abkhazia. The food is expensive. Now about the hotel: The advantages are a well-groomed small area, an excellent clean pool, sun loungers, swings, a cozy cafe. It's not far from the sea, but it's a bit dirty on the coast. From minuso: It's a long way from the center, 20-30 minutes walk along the side of the road, with cars rushing furiously past, no sidewalk. Meager breakfasts- plus cold cocoa or tea. There is no sound insulation at all. I can hear everything! The bathroom smelled of sewage. There were no hangers in the closet. There was no cleaning, once they asked to change the bed linen themselves in 10 days. There is no desire to return to this hotel

I really liked the hotel. There is everything you need. The breakfasts are delicious, hearty, different every day. You can order something from the menu additionally. The room has air conditioning, a kettle, a refrigerator, a huge wardrobe with hangers, a TV, a table, a bedside table, hot water, a warm clean outdoor pool. Excellent wi-fi. It takes 5 minutes to get to the clean sea and a good beach. The center is a 30-minute walk away. You can take many interesting excursions from the hotel and bring them back. Everything you need for a real vacation. Low audibility in the rooms: it didn't bother me, if you want to sleep and come to rest, you'll fall asleep. In general, we had a great time! It's not bad for a 2* hotel, the staff will always tell you, orient you. The breakfasts are delicious, different every day . The room has everything you need: towels , a refrigerator , a 0.5 liter kettle , air conditioning , a huge wardrobe with hangers , a TV, a table, a bedside table, a chair, wi-fi catches perfectly, hot water is always available (if the lights are not turned off, and this does not depend in any way on the owners). 5-10 minutes to the sea, depending on which beach to go to. The food is really good, the brazier is just gold. Of the cons: there is no sound insulation and the maid does not fulfill her duties. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the center along the highway , everywhere you can take a minibus from 100 to 200 rubles per person. Or a taxi for 300 rubles. There is Internet everywhere and everywhere, so it is not necessary to have money in cash at all. So cleanly 5 thousand just in case ( taxi , minibus , lights out ). There are a huge number of places to go on excursions .

We had a rest in July, 8 nights. The hotel is located in the suburbs of Mount Athos, it's a long walk, we took a taxi, the prices are not expensive 300 rubles
It takes 10-15 minutes to cross the highway to the sea and walk a little. The sea is nice and clean, but I liked it better in Athos itself, and Pitsunda is generally super.the pool was cleaned, it's really big. Breakfast every day is 2 dishes, different dishes are prepared. The portions are large, I liked it. In general, in Abkhazia, almost everywhere the portions are large from the heart) we often had lunch and dinner here too, the prices are average, and the portions are huge and delicious. In the evening we took 1 serving of potatoes, 2 servings of salad and 2 servings of barbecue for 3 of them. And this despite the fact that we are not skinny!
The area was very well maintained.there are enough places for everyone to sit in the evening.
It is convenient for excursions towards Sukhum, we traveled everywhere.
Of the disadvantages, only the number, audibility like cardboard, everything is old. I didn't like the bed.

The two-star hotel is excellent - we moved away together in May 2024 - there is always hot water, good Wi-Fi, working air conditioning, very friendly hosts, especially Thea, a beautiful green area with sun loungers and rocking chairs and a swimming pool, tables, there is a shop with everything you need near the hotel, breakfasts are modest but delicious, we had lunch It's also delicious there. Thanks to Thea for organizing horseback riding, I recommend it! of the small disadvantages-tired furniture, 1 channel worked on TV.

We had a vacation with my husband in August 2024. Peace and quiet ( if you want to escape from everyone , then it's here). On one side of the mountain, and on the other side of the sea, it is nearby (7 minutes). The room is modest, but clean, you can always change clean towels and linen, and even use a washing machine. The territory is well maintained. A clean swimming pool. I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff for their attitude towards people, as if you get into a family.😍 Sweet Teya🥰 (will prompt, explain and call a taxi 🚖), caring Emma 😘(golden hands of the cook! delicious, fast, everything is always fresh) and the good-natured Macaw (trout in foil, shish kebab! the grill listens to him😃). We did not like the rest in this hotel, the room was never cleaned in 6 days, the linen was not changed, we had to take a broom and revenge myself. There's dirt all around. There is a water outage, the TV does not seem to work, there is no kettle in the room. The closet is large, but there are no hangers. There is dirt in the toilet, a lamp has fallen out, it is dark. The toilet seat is broken, the garbage is not being cleaned, the shower curtain is dirty. Cockroaches run around in the toilet at night. It is not comfortable to sleep on the bed, the springs dig into the ribs. Due to poor insulation, it is impossible to sleep, the noise of cars around the clock. Among the advantages: a nice pool with clean water and a beach nearby.

A good hotel, the territory is well maintained, nice people, but the furniture in the rooms is old, cleaning once a week, the bed is terrible, the springs were sticking out, it is impossible to sleep, the sound is terrible, it feels like the walls are cardboard, and the deception in the hotel cafe is attributed to extra money, and next to the store there they hang in arrogance, the saleswoman is a very unpleasant woman. There is garbage on the beach, the sea is dirty. I wouldn't go there anymore, everything is very expensive.

I'm definitely not going to this hotel anymore. This is my opinion, it is possible that the disadvantages for me may be quite acceptable to others. But after reading the review, someone will take note. The main disadvantage for me is the lack of sound insulation at all. It was almost impossible to rest. The hotel does not have a rule as such, as in some hotels - respect for other vacationers - at least after 24:00 (you can have fun outside the hotel), many people go, including for a restful sleep. Companies with songs and laughter could sit on the territory until 2 a.m., no one makes a remark. I've already written about audibility: all this fun, along with the neighbors' TV on, is in your room. Sometimes it was possible to fall asleep only late at night, with earplugs. The second disadvantage is the condition of the bathroom. The toilet, I'm sorry, stank so much that it resembled a public toilet. I understand economy class, but cleanliness has not been canceled. They have maids here who change every year, it's possible that I got caught like this. But everyone complained about this woman. I had to go for a change of towels and toilet paper myself and ask for a wet cleaning (it wasn't difficult for me, but it shouldn't be like that, in my opinion). There may be dilapidated furniture and old repairs, but if everything is clean, then it's fine. The third disadvantage is the distance from the center. Keep in mind, there is nowhere to walk here, go to the center for 20 minutes on foot along the side of the road with frantically flying cars, or by bus for 100 rubles per person, in 3 minutes. There is a shop with everything you need, two cafes nearby. Everything else is fine. There is a swimming pool, recreation areas, a dining room right there, a friendly atmosphere, everyone communicates with each other, gets to know each other, the territory is small. If you plan to spend the whole vacation tightly visiting excursions and dragging yourself home without hind legs and sleeping like a dead man, you can live there. And if you are with a child with whom you don't really walk and sit on the territory most of the time, then it's a little noisy to relax there. Or if you plan to relax with a company, then it's also okay to sit up until night, listen to music and drink wine - no one will forbid. Well, or you are sleeping very soundly and can fall asleep even standing up.
WF catches well, the light was turned off periodically for a short time. There is a kettle in the room, a TV (we did not turn it on) . Yes, there is no mirror in the room at all. There's a tiny, terribly distorting thing in the bathroom. There is a refrigerator. A closet with shelves, but no hangers.

A great place, vacationing with my son in June 2023. The pool is a separate pleasure after excursions especially, or when you did not want to go to the stormy sea, the cook in the dining room is just a gorgeous woman with golden hands, always friendly and responsive, the food is delicious, I ate fish from the bottom of my heart, everything is simple in the room, but everything is there. Of the biggest disadvantages, this is wild audibility, the walls seem to be cardboard, you can hear literally what the voices in the next room are talking about, take birushi. The rest is great, the hotel is located far from the central part of Mount Athos, but we were in a rush to walk, a beach with a cafe 500 meters away with a good entrance with moderate pebbles, sun beds and boots for rent, better than the beaches in Mount Athos itself, where there are large pebbles and a heavy entrance.
We visited all the excursions of N. Athos on foot with great pleasure, sometimes we took a taxi. (Temple, caves, swan pond, Stalin's cottage, fortress, abandoned railway station, Canonite grotto)

This is a review for you by Anton Isaev.It's not nice to lie.The prices in the dining room are ridiculous, you can say like in the USSR, the food is very, very tasty, the staff is responsive and attentive, no one talks to anyone.Anton, you would write how your wife sat in the dining room from morning to midnight and did not sleep and how the hotel staff carried her to the room because after drinking so much alcohol, a person was unable to walk on his own. Vacationers, like a hundred years familiar, because the hotel is small. The breakfasts are great. Do you want for an extra.you can order a fee, whatever you like. Emma cooks you can lick your fingers. Ara, there are no words like that. He's a funny guy. The atmosphere is sincere thanks to Thea. We arrived at night. I say, well, the day is gone. The rooms are clean, the yard is well maintained, the pool is large and clean. The sea is not far away. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the center. We had a vacation with my husband in July 2023 for three weeks. TV, pool, sea nearby, but we went to New Athos to the Islet beach (25-30 minutes). There is an equipped beach, a sunbed under palm trees 200 rubles. I liked everything, the accommodation is worth the money paid, and we did not expect 5 stars. Clean territory! There was a singer, a local celebrity (I forgot his name) and there was a disco). A great place to relax. We were vacationing with the child, we were very afraid to pick up some kind of muck like rotavirus infection or intestinal problems. I am 100 percent sure that the rest here is safe, because the staff is very sensitive to their work. The kitchen is wonderful, the area is tidy, the pool is under control. Yes, this is a quiet rural place, if you want to be in the center of civilization, then it will be boring here. There is no better place to find for a relaxing family holiday. We have only positive impressions. The rooms are small, there is a place to sleep, to wash. TV, air conditioning, refrigerator. There is beautiful nature around, the sea, everything interesting can be seen, because at the hotel you can book excursions for every taste. I would like to highlight the hotel team separately, thanks to these people it is very cozy here. They are all great fellows! We stayed at this hotel in early August. This is the second time. And the hotel has deteriorated. Despite the new pool. Which is not cleaned!)) The rooms are dirty!!! They don't clean at all. There was never any cleaning during the week!!! I took a broom myself and cleaned it in the room. The towels were changed 1 time and then I went begging for 2 days and then I went to the maid myself and begged for towels. The horror! Although the website says that cleaning is done every day!!!
The breakfasts are simple but delicious. The rest of the kitchen is very controversial... To have lunch or dinner, you need to make an order and sit in a cafe and wait for it for 40 minutes!!! For some reason, they don't have any preparations for a vow or dinner to eat quickly.I didn't really like the food. It's much tastier in the city, and the prices are the same. And faster! So if you need comfort, service and cleanliness, this is not the right place at all, but if you are a simple economy to spend the night, then it will do.

Hello. We had a rest in Abkhazia for the second year in a row. In 2021, we were in Gagra. In this one in New Athos. There is something to compare it with. This hotel is much better!!! About nutrition, I'll say right away: they were fed for slaughter!!! Emma is a wonderful cook and a person!!! Prices, as in the union. And most importantly, it is VERY tasty!!!
The location of the hotel is very convenient: 100 meters from the road, there is no noise from cars, there is no dust. To the sea, if it is 200 meters straight, if it is on a sandy beach - 400 meters. A huge enclosed area, great with children. There are gazebos, swings, and a children's slide on the territory. Palm trees, agaves.

Good afternoon!
We had a rest in August 2021. At first we booked a tour, then I just read the reviews and was horrified, but despite the bad reviews we went without replacing the hotel.
I will write and say that I rest according to the principle: we slept, ate, rested, took a shower, and the rest of the time, the sea, the beach, a walk through the most picturesque places and the city.
The rooms are clean.
☝The food is homemade, canteen, for us it was a big plus, delicious, there were no poisonings, this is the most important thing. Emma is a wonderful cook and person.
The hostess of the hotel is a beautiful woman, not a single rude word, she will help me in any way she can, my issues were resolved peacefully.
There are bark beetles, yes, they are a little annoying.
🙈The lights were turned off every evening, as I later realized this is in the order of things for Abkhazia, there is no light-there is no Wi-Fi.
🐣With water, too, the problem of Abkhazia.
🌊The sea is 200-300 meters away. In the early days we went to the nearest beaches, then to the Central One, 2 km on foot. Not critical.
New Athos has the most gorgeous nature. There is something to visit. We went without excursions, on our own. New Athos Monastery, Seaside Park, Cave, Waterfall, Railway Station and more. Walking around the city, in general, there is something to do.
Let's summarize! ☝
Everything can be survived. If you want a civil hotel, you will have to pay the price as for a hotel in Egypt, so it's up to you.
Overall, I am happy with my vacation. Without accidents, poisoning and other troubles.

We had a rest in August 2022. We liked it. In reviews over the past years, a lot has been written about bark beetles that interfere with sleep. This problem was solved at the hotel: all the furniture was changed, there are no bugs. A swimming pool was built and opened on the territory of the hotel. In general, the management of the hotel and the dining room at the hotel are doing their best. Of course, these are not Turkish 5 stars, but there is no need to compare them.
