All the inspections were completed very quickly, the queues did not accumulate, the staff was very attentive and friendly, a small Duty free with high-quality Italian products and toys, 5 points to the airport services that the arrival and departure were very comfortable!
A small compact airport, you won't get lost in it. It should be borne in mind that the business halls are located before the passport control area. The pizza at the airport is very tasty.
A small airport is as close to the city as possible, but, contrary to tourist reports, there is no direct bus to the center anymore, only with a transfer, now you need to take the Marconi Express monorail shuttle, eleven euros in six minutes. Or take a taxi, it will cost about twenty. The location of the services is not very convenient: first you go one way to the lower floor for check-in and baggage drop-off, then you return to the same place for inspection. Everything is quite cozy inside, all the boarding gates are nearby. Cafes, duty-free shops are available.
The airport is convenient. Especially convenient is the monrels from the airport and the central railway station. 7 min and you're practically in the center of the city.
For the first time we encountered at this airport the fact that two out of 5 suitcases were loaded on board.... Upon arrival in Moscow, we had to wait another day for the delivery of the remaining luggage in Bologna....
Parking is convenient. The airport itself is small, but there are no crowds, there is always a place to sit, you will not have to stand and sit on the floor too.
You can eat quite well for adequate money, which does not differ from the prices in the city.
You can wait for passport control on arrival for half an hour if 2-3 planes have arrived and you are not a citizen of the European Union.
DutifRey is small, but the assortment is good, there are only clothes and all sorts of bags.
The waiting room is a bit dark after passing through border control, and there is garbage from waiting passengers. Perhaps the effect of broken windows is triggered due to the general gloominess of the room.
A convenient airport. Informative signs Convenient Parking. The bus stop is right at the exit from the arrival hall. There is a bus station for further trips to other cities. There are a lot of cafes. There is a supermarket in the building that is open until late. The little guy is weak. But the choice, and most importantly the price of alcohol, was pleasantly pleased.
It's a great airport. Finding a refund for tax free is still a quest. Go through the security check, but do not go through passport control until you find a taxi-free stall))) if you want to get your money. because customs does not put a stamp - like an electronic stamp!, which is apparently valid only in Bologna - because everywhere a stamp is needed. And considering that you flew 3 meters from the inspection area to passport control, then generally say bye-bye taxi free))))
It has become a little better than 2 years ago - queues at check-in have decreased, preflight inspection is more logical, entrance and exit passport control are faster, and luggage is quickly checked out. Places for charging gadgets are very convenient. But the chairs in the waiting room remained steel and uncomfortable - it is uncomfortable to sit without bedding.
When you understand the geography and logic of the premises, you will like everything. Medium in size. The plane is not put to the teletrap, but is asked to enter the terminal on foot. You pass the passport very quickly (it wasn't so great before), baggage collection takes 20-30 minutes, buses to Bologna and Rimini in front of the terminal, parking nearby, there is free Wi-Fi. Cafes with delicious sandwiches...
I forgot my bag on the plane, so they BROUGHT IT without bureaucratic procedures, although I have already passed the border! I passed the border in 10 minutes, fantastic. With a hassle-free car rental and right here, nearby. When I returned, the boarding pass was issued earlier than usual. Everything is great. But there is also a disadvantage . The business lounge simply has the poorest choice of snacks, it needs to be corrected)
A terrible airport, with terrible employees, then the customs cling to the little things (they claimed that I had to declare a cross on my body (golden, but small) - I reached the management, (the neighbor on the plane was literally stripped - they took off a fur coat, obviously not new and said that the import duty on the fur coat was 570€)...on the way back, an employee checking boarding passes clung to a folding bag, in which they put removed warm clothes so that they would not undress on the plane in the dark-down jackets and boots- forced them to put everything on themselves, tried to cling to a handbag and was sent to study the rules of baggage transportation by Aeroflot, where there is no detail of the size of a handbag. In short, if it is possible to avoid this airport, then refrain from visiting (for reference, there are no such problems at other airports in Italy, we have been flying several times a year since 2004)
Excellent airport, logistics!! Wonderful border guards! Special thanks and respect, I forgot to apply for tax-free and after passport control I was allowed back without any problems. The departure is perfect, as is the arrival!
Huge queues for arrival, stood in the customs control area for 1.5 hours.
In the departure area there is a customs area for tax-free registration - one window for all 3 zones (A, B,C),
the airport is modest, simple, there is no crowd
The airport is small, there are a lot of people, but all services work very quickly, the process from entering the airport, baggage check-in, passing control + customs takes from 30-50 minutes

If you arrived / left cleanly, then an ordinary average airport!
But there are many questions about Italy's 5th airport!
Business lounge before passport control!
Refund of tax-free is generally a separate topic!!
Checking docks in one window, issuing money in another! Cheating on the exchange rate, they don't give euros, they sell USD! The first time in Bologna and apparently the last!
1. Tah free is terrible. During the daytime, customs does what they want. There are none at all in the evening! If you have a flight after 20.00, get ready for a hassle.
2. Even after this circle of hell, you are not guaranteed a refund.
3. The business lounge is quite cozy and nice, but there is practically nothing to eat and drink in it!
4. Duty free is a bit poor and expensive.
5. The airport itself is small and not designed for the flow of tourists in the season.
6. But the airport itself is more or less decent.
A normal airport, not a big one
There is no security check at the entrance, only after passport control
Compared to Sheremetyevo, it's a song, because it creates a huge queue with a loss of time
It is quite a convenient airport. Among the disadvantages: a crowd at passport control, poor catering and boring duty free. Otherwise, everything is very good.
a very cramped little airport. However, the staff is friendly. accessibility is good - a bus every 11 minutes. It takes 20 minutes to get to the train station.
The tax free refund process is completely disorganized. Plus, everything has been done to ensure that tax free is received only in cash at an unfavorable exchange rate in rubles or dollars. Dear duty free.
The most terrible and incomprehensible airport has never been encountered. There is no sign to the area with check-in counters, the system with boarding gates is unclear. Rude boorish staff. Spoils the impression of Italy.
