Despite the huge distances of the terminals, there is a train connecting them. The waiting area for international flights is amazing. A large number of shops, many places, a new hall, playstation stands, a grand piano for everyone. I really liked this particular terminal
The gateway to your favorite city. Seeing minor flaws, I try not to notice them, because in half an hour Paris will embrace me. And it's always sad to fly away from here. There's too much to do with this place. And without lyrics, everything is a thrill for me here: navigation and waiting areas, design and brisk Wi-Fi, shops and coffee shops, convenient parking and comfortable branded Air France buses, even giant crossings, and also ... unobtrusive flirting of French border guards. By the way, in Charles de Gaulle, passport control is quite fast, unlike Orly, for example. In short, j'aime!
The absence of signs from the airport and the complete lack of competence on the part of its employees or security when trying to find out the way in English or French.
If suddenly your luggage is lost, immediately fill out the lost &found form and specify the desired hotel near the airport, feel free to go to it.
If you are in transit, specify the country and city with the address where you will stay. Leave contact details to contact you (write them down on WhatsApp, as calls outside roaming are expensive) and DO NOT try to wait if you have all the documents and important things with you. It may take 3-5 days for the baggage to be returned.
Navigation using huge interactive panels, everything is clear and even the approximate time to the point is written. Check-in is possible via the terminal and you can choose a seat on the plane for free. You only come to the check-in desk to check in your luggage. There was a free magazine in the waiting rooms - it helped me out a lot. The magazine was in English and French
It's a great airport, very big, really, I recommend coming in advance! Prepare for the inspection in advance so as not to waste time in the process! A huge duty free with a large selection of all kinds of goods, perfumes, clothes and much more!
Worry about this in advance, few people speak English because of the protests, buses run late, obsessive taxi drivers! If you don't have a SIM card, download Google Maps, connect to Wi-Fi at the airport, score the route and don't reset it even when you get on the bus, you can pay in cash! You will be given a ticket, see your movement on the map, worry about the battery in advance,at the airport at the exit they are also there, you can sit near the exit to the bus line in the railing there is a charger. For the first time, do not panic, look at the signs from above, few of the staff will help because many do not know English, but they will direct you to someone who knows ....

A huge airport, which is easy to navigate. There are many branded boutiques, restaurants and eateries.

My favorite airport! Everything is clear, quickly. Cute seats in the form of macaroons and benches in the style of the best French restaurants of the past. The piano in the waiting room is also pleasing, one of the passengers often plays something beautiful on it.
Due to the size of the airport and disgusting navigation, it is better to put + 1-1.5 hours in search of the destination. An absolutely stupid inspection system before going to the gates, for some reason, employees do not have access to the knowledge that queues can be optimized. A chaotic and inconvenient airport. Perhaps it's all about its size
It's just huge! There is a long distance between the terminals, you need to go by shuttle, you will not be able to walk, as in Sheremetyevo. Photo of the waiting room in Terminal 1.
At check-in, we encountered an employee who did not know how to handle additional baggage. As a result, we stood for an hour while he tried to calculate everything and make a payment.
It's a great airport, at 5 a.m. I was the first one to enter the clean area before my flight. Nothing worked, not a single store. They start opening at 6 a.m. Keep this in mind!
On arrival at Terminal 1, we stood at passport control for 2 hours in a huge queue - the staff (except 2) just left for lunch. And after 1.5 hours, they all returned together, hiccupping.
Everywhere there are kilometer-long snakes for queues and crowds-crowds-crowds, with extremely slow-working employees.
There are 2 employees on departure for the entire hall. And again the CROWD.
An airport is like an airport. A little old rubber travelators are not comfortable and there are not enough toilets. Smoking area on the roof of the building.
In Terminal 1, where Air France is based, there is a chic new Duty Free, and the waiting areas near the boarding gates are perhaps the most comfortable of all previously seen. The catering area is located separately on the second floor, you can take the escalator.

Well) a normal European airport with its own problems) once upon a time is not necessary. Sometimes you can stand, sometimes everything is fast. There is a cool dude in the updated 1terminal. For regular customers, pleasant service and buns.

It is a very nice and convenient airport. There is a good selection of shops in Duty free.
I flew on a morning flight to Istanbul on December 21 at 7 a.m., a huge queue in front of passport control accumulated and everyone waited for at least one customs officer to come for 30 minutes, nothing worked in the dutifrey zone except alcohol and perfume, it was not possible to buy gifts.
A taxi from Charles de Gaulle Airport is well and simply organized. At the airport, you just need to find exit doors (entrance) number 24. There is a live queue for a taxi, it goes very fast.
A huge beautiful airport. There is Wi-Fi. I was in terminal 3. It's small and cozy. Everything went quickly. Very strictly about liquids. They have to fit into the bag.
A little complicated with moving between terminals by train. At first it was confusing and unusual. Well, the traditional queues at passport control. You can stand for an hour easily.
This is the most beautiful and cozy airport in my memory. Everything is tasteful and great navigation, even if you don't know the language. There are many cafes. Clean, beautiful restrooms. The exits to the planes are all through warm passages. There is a kind of lightness and lightness in everything. The staff is very friendly, despite the fuss of passengers. I hope to visit there more than once.
A clean airport!
I didn't have any special impressions of it, since we flew into it at night, and flew away very quickly during the day.
What made you happy? Cleaners who even vacuumed at 12 o'clock at night with headphones in their ears and looked very positive or something :D Nice guys!
I didn't really notice the disadvantages.
The airport is huge. A shuttle (electric train) runs between the terminals. If you are flying with Turkish Airlines, then get ready to stand at the check-in desk. The mess is complete, the work is not set up at all! It may take from 1 to 2 hours, only baggage check-in.
Charles de Gaulle Airport has collected all imaginable disadvantages. An hour and a half at the border control upon arrival. The airport was occupied by bomber taxi drivers, familiar to us from the 90s. There is no good reference to be found. But they were flowers. The berries were on departure. There is one gate in the boarding pass, and another on the scoreboard. There was no longer a queue for inspection, but a huge crowd. A feeling of disgust remained... It's a shame for France.
The airport is good, the smoking room was found quickly. But they squeezed out canned fish, which they had already taken home three times as souvenirs... and taking into account the transfers, these were 9 European airports and there were no problems anywhere, and the French apparently have Portuguese sardines in very high esteem... and yes, canned food is equivalent to liquids, you can carry up to 1 liter... I had to stock up on them in dutik to spite them.
