Great airport, big, spacious. I recommend getting to the city by train to the North Station. It is inexpensive, fast and comfortable. The ticket can be purchased both for cash and by card (not the Russian Federation). Follow the RER signs to navigate the airport
A huge airport. Fortunately, I arrived and left from the same terminal. I spent about 7 hours at the airport. It seemed to me very spacious, clean and not noisy. The staff is very friendly. There are not many areas where you can sit, but there have always been free places. There are cafes, but not so many, and the assortment personally did not please me at all: sandwiches, pastries, salads. Don't count on a full meal((
It is a very huge but also very convenient airport. Everything is thought out for a comfortable stay during the flight waiting period. Clean and comfortable. We used the transfer, I can't tell you how to get by public transport, but it takes 40 minutes to get from Paris. Which is also very short.
It is a small airport, but very cozy.
Shopping in the international zone is difficult, the choice is not great. If you plan to bring something special from France as a gift, it is better to take care of it in advance.
There is an area with free consoles.
A chic airport, a super comfortable departure area, comfortable upholstered sofas, lots of sockets for charging gadgets.Prices for souvenirs are lower than in the city and the choice is more original.
The airport was renovated very well for the Olympics. Each waiting room is like a business lounge: the seats are soft and spacious, each has a personal outlet. Large boutiques and Duty Free shops for every taste.
I didn't like this airport. The only good impression from the meeting between Rinata Litvinova and Denis Matsuev at baggage claim) In general, like all French people, they have an arrogant attitude towards foreigners who do not speak French, which is noticeable at the airport, where it is customary to treat visitors kindly everywhere. One of the most unpleasant airports in the world.
It's not realistic to call a taxi! It took a very long time to get to the center of Paris because of the huge traffic jams in which Paris is drowning! In Paris, there are days when travel to the city center is open only to residents of central streets (a technique to combat traffic jams and security). Of course, only the Parisians themselves know about these days!
There is 6G Wi-Fi at the airport in Pomnatil, the speed is high. You can access the Internet for free and find the right metro station with transfers. The taxi bombers to the center charged us 150 euros. Taxi prices are cosmic. There is a McDonald's at the airport, the prices are not high. The airport itself did not seem big to me, we reached the center in 40 minutes. The problem arose with an ATM that issues subway tickets. He worked there by card and only for coins. We didn't have either. Maps of Russia do not work there. And it's hard to change coins. We tried to ask them to buy us tickets for cash, but they used the card to take it. White people avoided everything, and dark-skinned girls, Thank them very much! They took our tickets to the center in the subway without any problems.
I love this terminal! Modern, beautiful, comfortable. Coffee machines are everywhere-no need to wait in line. There are a lot of chairs with tables and charging. Clean, spacious.
The departure zones are impressive. The piano , sofas , tables for playing chess - everything is wonderful !
But! To get to this paradise, you must first go through a hell of insane queues. I queued for 75 minutes at passport control!!! 2 windows were working ! And kilometer - long snakes of queues for them . It's good that I arrived in advance.
The most modern airport) is easily accessible by shuttle to the terminals. Accessible and everything is clear. Responsive staff. There are many places where you can have a snack at the departure gates
The airport is quite convenient - in some places it is even beautiful, with intuitive navigation…
I wrote this now - and I remembered how we ran around the terminals in a panic for an hour in search of the desk of the Europcar company to hand over a car to them at a time when, 10 minutes before closing, the staff of their "birdhouse" suddenly collapsed and left in front of our eyes between the terminals…
But these are the features of the French labor code: they always honor and interpret it in favor of the employee. Even when the employees are clearly from the "new arrivals"…
After that, we started rushing around, suddenly not finding an information desk in the nearest terminal - the terminal was Air France and we seemed to find an English-speaking Francophone at the check-in desks, who described to us the location of the Europcar desk in another terminal, and then, in the rhythm of a trot, we found a couple more quite supportive the "elderly Negroes" who guided us on the terrain, but…
The fact remains:
Even that counter turned out to be closed, despite the regulated opening hours.
Fortunately, there was an announcement on that counter about the presence of another counter - in the very terminal from which we ran…
And we even made it!
And the Arab guys treated us absolutely favorably 10 minutes before closing, seeing our faces in the soap…
Everything worked out, and there is even something to remember!
But!
For the lack of normal information desks after 10 pm, I have to lower the score, in general, not the worst of European airports…
(Don't ask for a photo - once again: I shot it in soap, and it's a miracle that I managed to take something off, namely: an announcement on a closed counter where to run, and our wonderful van leaving the parking lot for the car wash after handing over the keys)
I have long wanted to visit CDG and fly with Air France. It's impressive. The size, architecture, and interior decoration. There is a sense of French chic in everything. Shops- shops-shops... without end. There are many catering outlets (if such a definition is appropriate). They are all exquisitely decorated. You can feel the taste and style. The staff is very polite and helpful, to the point of indecency :))) By the way, I noticed that the French now react more calmly when you address them in English. Twenty years ago, everything was a little different. The airport has five FAT and shining stars from me.
Excellent airport; everything is clear and straightforward. The space is huge and very easy to navigate. There are many cafes and restaurants where you can have a snack. There is a great hotel inside the airport from where you can easily get to the right terminal. I stay there for the night if there is a long break between flights. The hotel has a wonderful bar and delicious breakfast
Excellent airport 🙌 everything is simple, everything is accessible and clean 👍
Fast food zone, restaurants -everything is wonderful!
The entire airport staff is very friendly, courteous and will help solve any situation. 😍
Terminal 1, the most modern and newest. There aren't many people, there are a lot of places to relax. There are free slot machines, chess boards, and a piano.
A large airport. Multiple terminals. I've been to T1 and T2, international departures.
It's not close between terminals.
It is convenient to get from Paris. As a rule, there are no queues for registration and control or they are not large. Of course there are many dutiferies and restaurants, in my opinion the prices are adequate for the airport. By the way, there are free taxis before baggage check-in.
This is a world-class airport - very modern, comfortable, modern and clean. Excellent intuitive logistics, convenient waiting areas, friendly staff. Everything is at the highest level. If you fly, then only here!
A very large, spacious, modern airport. They thought about people in everything. There are sockets right on the seats everywhere - it's easy to recharge your phone, they will kindly tell you how to get through and issue boarding tickets. Everything is simple and clear.
The best airport I've ever visited. The beautiful and comfortable waiting rooms were pleased with the availability of many free seats.
Entertainment areas for both adults and children.
A beautiful, comfortable airport with comfortable upholstered chairs in the waiting room, there is a grand piano where fans play beautiful melodies and create a pleasant atmosphere. A great selection of cosmetics, wines and cheeses in duty free and very caring consultants.
A great place, but only when you have passed through passport control (this is the hall in the photo)! It would be better to take a photo of the lounge before checking in for the flight and passing through international control (this is terrible)! The airport doesn't work at night, so you have to look for a corner to sleep in, etc.But there is Wi-Fi and sockets for charging your phone!
One of the coolest airports with a bunch of different shops. Paris is certainly a fashionable and stylish city, but what about French Sweets? I really hoped to pick them up in dutik as a gift, but I couldn't find something worthy
The largest!
The best!
The most convenient!
The most fashionable!
The most technologically advanced!
The most comfortable!
The most famous !
Meeting with this place is always joyful and you know- he will not lead!
A true leader and trendsetter! It's great when the meeting and farewell to Paris takes place at CDG!
The previous visit was in 2013, so we can say that we are getting to know each other again. The airport is big, but, thank God, there are signs everywhere. Upon arrival, it turned out that you need to go by train to get your luggage, but at least not far. Passport control is something with something! The crowd of non-EU citizens in three, it seems, cabins caused a strong feeling that I would spend at least a day from my trip here. But then the hearts of the staff softened + my incredible luck - the "elite" points had just run out of EU citizens, and almost a passage was opened in front of me for the rest, so I stood in line for a microscopic 35-40 minutes.
There were no problems at all on the way back, everything was clear and beautiful, thanks to the staff.
Microscopic remark: the announcements on the speakerphone have always been surprising - is it really possible that someone can make out these sounds???
It is a good airport, BUT very large and with a lot of crossings. There are places that can only be reached by moving by bus. If you haven't been before, it's better to come with enough time to find the right place
I was in transit at this airport
It is not difficult to navigate through the transit zone, everything is clear, you can just follow the signs
A good number of duty-free shops, with various goods, there are plenty to choose from
Plus, there is a place in the transit zone with "sun beds" where you can sleep, located next to this "cat" :D
In general, the airport is very beautiful, convenient and pleasant
A modern large airport. T1 - this time I was pleased with the absence of a large number of passengers, thanks to which passport control and inspection took place in record time. If you get to China with the planes, you can get very stuck at passport control, provided that you do not have a European passport or you are traveling with children. As in all airports in France, the number of operating windows is very limited.
Otherwise, it is a wonderful terminal with huge shops and boutiques, there is a place to relax, charge your phone, have a snack, etc.
Very big and very French. You arrived and you go, you go, then the train, and again you go and you go... On departure, the same thing, but vice versa. For me, it's better than Istanbul, but it's definitely cheaper!
Very cozy, beautiful and convenient airport. The waiting area is simply gorgeous. There is a cinema, video games, chairs are separated by living plants. The feeling that you are in a small town, and not at the airport. Here the waiting hours will seem like minutes))
I take off the star for the slowness of the customs officers. The airport is good, the DF is excellent. There is a delicatessen department, very convenient. The dream expectations are pure.
Everything is very old, there are few sockets, and the emos are not comfortable with long connections. It is very uncomfortable. I tried to buy socks for less than 9.9 euros, but I couldn't find anything that could be thought up for people....
The airport is very large, one of the largest in the world. There are several terminals between which shuttle buses and trains run. Spacious halls, numerous shops of the world's leading brands, cafes and restaurants. There are enough places to relax in the waiting rooms for everyone. It's a long way to Paris, about an hour by car, it turns out faster by train. But you can get on a train right at the airport and in a few hours find yourself in almost any major city in France.
The problem areas are passport control on arrival for non-EU citizens and security control on departure for everyone - from time to time there are very long queues.
Do you want to get an unforgettable experience?
Fly through CDG Paris airport.
They stole the passport as soon as they left terminal C. With money and cards.
Yes. It is necessary not to click with the beak, on the one hand.
And after 7 hours of flight plus the road/ airport, do you feel cheerful?
Waiting for a transfer from domestic to international airlines on tickets is 4 hours. August is the time for summer vacations. The temperature in the terminal is no higher than +17C, outside it is below +30C! After an hour of waiting, the tooth did not fall on the tooth! A Chinese woman in 2 coats was sitting in a chair next to me, that's who I envied! People wrapped themselves in whatever came to hand, from pareos to souvenir fleece jackets from Duty Free!
Everything is logically clear, the main thing is not to confuse where it flies from, there are delicious croissants in the cafe, reasonable prices in dutifrey
The areas in the terminals where the renovation was carried out are very comfortable and cozy. But crossing the border, whether on departure or arrival, always turns into a challenge!!! And if you can just arrive with a reserve for departure and stand in line for an extra hour, then there are huge queues on arrival and the lack of separate lines for passengers with children is extremely annoying!!!
Like in a shopping mall, everything is of high quality, there are many boutiques!
And the prices are no higher than in the usual store in the city!
There are many convenient places to wait for the plane
The airport itself is beautiful and interesting, but there was a terrible confusion with the gate number with my flight). Convenient transport accessibility, you can easily get there by metro. However, the metro itself almost suffocated from the stuffiness- they save on transport
A huge airport. When booking a transfer, leave at least 2 hours. You'll make it yourself, but our luggage didn't make it.. There are many boutiques and food outlets at the airport, business lounge lounges. The airport staff helps with the search for departure. We had one on the ticket and another on the scoreboard. Three employees were asked, each took at least 5 minutes to figure it out. Thanks!
The airport looks like a tube, either a subway, or some kind of bunker. There are very few places to sit. The design of this object is very strange and incomprehensible like dark blue.
It's not a very convenient airport. Terminal 3, not always what is written corresponds to reality. Terminal 2 is like a huge space with crowds of people. Between the divisions of Terminal 2, you can walk along the crossings at the terminal. 1-3-2 are interconnected by a shuttle. It is convenient that Terminal 3 has a number of hotels, you do not need to leave anywhere, you left the terminal, 100-500 meters and you are there
A hospitable state structure that is far from the first, which is kept waiting for hours by opening 2 crossing points at passport crossings, is obvious from here..By the way, the tax free automatic kiosk that the outgoing passenger will use was deliberately placed in the incoming passenger area, the purpose of which I think is to prevent the receipt of tax refunds left by the customer who could not find this place Dec
