It was very simple and easy to navigate inside. There are scoreboards and signs everywhere. There are even special people who stand behind the special control after exiting the aircraft and help to orient themselves and answer all the questions of passengers. Inside the airport, travelators are stretched for a kilometer, a train flies overhead for the convenience of moving passengers. I was surprised by the internal design. There is a huge yellow teddy bear under a lamp and a huge wooden Pinocchio, and a whole oasis with a glass roof, where there are many plants, birds sing, water murmurs. A children's town in the style of some cartoon too. Really not ordinary!

We ended up here in transit for 10 hours. We were provided with a hotel for a day's rest. but they won't feed you - keep in mind. You can eat in the food court for dollars and local currency. We rested and washed at the hotel. Everyone at the airport is kind.

It is not a very large airport with very clear navigation. gates A to C radiate away from the center. In the center sits a strange beast - called a bear under a lamp. ) screens and terminals - in order to find out which gate is yours - almost every 10-20 meters. There is a food court with affordable prices (judging by the KFC scoreboard, Union Pay is accepted). there are fountains with drinking water near the toilets. There are exchangers for local currency (all prices are indicated in it).in the waiting areas there are places with a long footstool (ala sunbed). and some quiet areas (I don't know what's inside). on the 2nd floor there are business halls.... The Dutik is not amazing.... In general, it is a normal airport.

My favorite airport. Clean, comfortable and functional. If we travel first or business class, the enjoyment of the service in the lounges is guaranteed. A huge convenient modern airport. Several runways release 3 aircraft every 5 minutes.
Get ready for long distances both inside the terminals (there is a train running under the roof) and when boarding a flight (sometimes you have to take a long bus ride, even if you fly with Qatar Airlines).
Lots of shops with a good selection of everything that usually happens at airports. Incredible size lounges with high ceilings, good zoning of space and dishes to order, which are brought by waiters.
And of course a bright yellow teddy bear and a forest under the roof with trees, flowers and waterfalls.
By the way, Qatar Airlines themselves did not make a special impression - a five, but not a plus…

Hamad Airport in Doha (Qatar) was struck by a huge winter garden with humidifiers - it is beautiful, unusual and creates a pleasant mood. Of course, they keep it clean. There are wonderful shops and there are many of them. What didn't you like? 1) not very good navigation, not very clear designations - it took some time to figure it out. But when you understand yourself what is where, then everything seems to be clear. 2) the waiting rooms before boarding are small and crowded. I didn't even believe that this was possible for an airport recognized as one of the best. At the same time, there are excellent business halls for waiting and spending time during transfers: comfortable, tasty, polite and dignified. 3) the organization of boarding the flight is terrible. A crowd of people, it's kind of bad. You need to be ready for this and come right before boarding closes; provided that you understand where it will be: the airport is large and you can just be late). In general, I can't say that the airport impressed me with something in terms of a comfortable transfer. The new Istanbul airport is better organized. This is from my point of view.

I did not enter the business halls and lounge areas, there were queues. Despite the fact that there was also a voucher to enter the business hall and money to enter, just in case. I decided that if there was a queue, there would not even be a place to sit down. There is nothing better than walking 😉 There are separate lounges with reclining chairs at the airport. You can also lie down well there . Duty free is not very good! A lot of things are missing. You can buy sweets, all sorts of trinkets. In branded stores, there are either old collections, or the price is some kind of cosmic. In general, you can spend time at the airport. And if you are flying in transit, then be sure to make sure that you do not have items prohibited for transportation, including drinks, everything is taken away!
