It's a good airport. There are many shops and cafes. Everything is clean, the staff is helping. There is drinking water. The toilets are clean. In general, even a long stay, you will find where to walk and what to see.
A huge pleasant airport, a lot of automated and automated. Not a bad dutik and pebbles. But traditional Latin American carelessness also has a place to be. But in the light version. Especially compared to Bayres or Rio))))
I was pleasantly struck by the high organization of the process, all passengers are moving calmly, they did not fully understand the order of distribution by groups of departing, but everything is clear at first 1,2,3 and so on, and everyone clearly follows this and leaves the plane in the same order
The completion of the new airport in Santiago has not been completed. New terminals are currently being launched. Advantages: a large area, which allows you to concentrate passengers at a safe distance from each other. New cafes and souvenir shops. Large and clean toilets. Cons: very long distance to the gates. It is difficult for people with disabilities or the elderly, as well as parents with children, to cover such distances from disembarkation to passport control. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes (at a brisk pace). There are no shuttles, buses between the gates, and a small number of travelators. Which makes mobile movement difficult in the case of transit flights.
Everything is generally good and understandable, very polite at the controls. The downside is long distances, which, it seems to me, can be arranged more optimally. But it's still under construction, so we'll see in a couple of years.
The airport is good, but the baggage claim is poorly thought out, slow, long, cramped, and then you get out of it for a very long time. There is no logistics for the release of passengers.
