The airport is located about an hour's drive from Mersin, an excellent location compared to the previous airport in Adana.
The room is quite large, the interior is very clean, it is pleasant to be in, queues do not tire, as there are not very many people.
The staff is excellent: at the baggage check-in, an overweight of 8 kg was issued as part of another passenger's luggage, there was no need to pay extra. Otherwise, all the employees who came across were friendly and polite.
So far, for me personally, the only drawback has been the lack of food establishments in the clean area at the domestic departure terminal - it's worth taking a snack with you to the airport.
Positive: -convenient, understandable location, clean, beautiful, compact, informative, very polite, friendly staff.
Minuses:
-it is difficult for a Russian person to explain himself without knowing Turkish; -there are no phone charging points;
-there is no Wi-Fi; -suitcases beat against a metal bump with terrible force at baggage claim (this is not the case at other airports); - the tickets say "Mersin airport", but on the plane they announce "Adana" and do not explain why this is so.
Very large, clean, bright, with a comfortable waiting area. There is a cafe. You can go out into the fresh air. Duty free has appeared. The airport is much better than the airport in Adana was. The entrance is a little confusing, and the entrance to the airport from the parking lot, you need to add signs and markings. The administration needs to pay attention to the correctness of parking cars in a multi-level parking lot. A lot of cars are parked outside the parking spaces, which makes it difficult to move in the parking lot
Compared to the old airport of Adana, it is wonderful!
New, spacious, beautiful, clean, with shops, cafes and a small duty free.
If you plan to eat, it is better to do it before passing through passport control, in a clean area of international departures, unlike the line opposite the check-in counters, the choice of cafes is small (Mado, tasteless burgers, something with bowls, a counter with juices and pastries).
The long-awaited airport for Mersin! The airport is large in area, spacious (considering that it is still being built), modern. Convenient access and exit to the Havamashe. After arrival, it is quite a bit to walk to the bus, which is very convenient with luggage. Buses run frequently, there are no problems leaving. There are cafes and restaurants inside the airport, and there are places to relax. Everything is clean, spacious, and beautiful. But there is no business hall (at least for the Russian Federation) yet. We hope that this issue will be resolved soon. And of course we are waiting for an increase in direct flights to Moscow!
Excellent, comfortable, spacious and very reminiscent of Ankara airport. Nearby there is a parking lot and a gas station with a car rental service. A toll booth with a speed limit of 130 km/h for 25 liras ends 10 km from the airport. In terms of accessibility, it is a very convenient airport.
The airport is new, not yet fully operational. There are not many flights, and passport control is fast. The staff is young, still studying and working under the supervision of instructors. They don't know English well. When checking the luggage, the backpack, where there were a 100 ml bottle of 3 pcs (I was flying with the child), was opened, a box with strawberries was opened, one of the 3 bottles was offered to the child to drink immediately. The prices at Duty Free are very high, Chips in the city are about 2 USD in lira, at the airport 6.5 Euros.
Excellent, new, airport. 2 dutifrey shops, cafes, comfortable waiting rooms and boarding. It used to be like a rural one, like Sochi. And this is already a level. A gorgeous route to the airport. They pull a piece of iron and let the express go. There is a prospect
A modern, relatively small, in my opinion, convenient airport. There are duty-free shops and cafes. The security level is increased compared to ADA (subjectively). There are Sky bridges for connecting planes. Rental cars can be obtained on the top floor of the multi-storey parking lot
New, Clean. It's a good airport, I liked it. The prices in the cafe, of course, are airport prices, as everywhere else. There is still a clear field and mountains of land around, but they say it will expand. It is now closer to go from Mersin and it is not necessary, as before in Adana, to wind through narrow streets. Comfortable.
A good, modern airport. It's not very big, but it's not necessary. Friendly staff. Everything is very concise, fast and efficient. In general, I recommend it!
The airport is large and modern, convenient, but very inconvenient and small parking lots and places to stop cars are met by x- mourners. It is necessary to redevelop and organize parking lots, long-term and stopping
A new excellent airport, very good for a small town of Mersin, a duty free shop. The only thing I wanted was a bigger arrivals and departures board, I could hardly make out the flight number and others
Great airport, new, clean, comfortable. Exactly one hour drive from the Forum on havamash. Compared to the old airport, Adana is heaven and earth. There are cafes before entering the clean area, there is a small dutik. I haven't seen enough exchangers and Wi-Fi, and I haven't seen any ATMs either.
Nice, small airport, beautiful area outside the building, small duty free. It's quiet inside, there are no crowds of tourists, no fuss, too, all the checks were passed very quickly.
Of course, you shouldn't compare it with some big airports, but compared to Adana, it's certainly cool! Not big, cozy with convenient entrances and Parking lots👍😁
A beautiful new airport , an open-air smoking room with different plants , there is no exchanger, there is coffee and snacks, there is even a VIP lounge and massage therapists nearby
It is convenient to get from Mersin - 1.5 hours by bus from sayapark 24 hours a day, every hour. The airport is new, I took off on domestic airlines, but at the entrance both times, when checking, something beeped at me, I passed "manual" control. They were forced to take out a laptop - this is not required everywhere.
In the same clothes, I flew from Sabiha a few hours later - there was nothing squeaking at the control. I don't really understand why racks with sockets need to be made so that you can only stand next to them. For this, a minus star )
New and spacious. I didn't fly away myself, I just saw him off. As a greeter, parking is very convenient. My wife liked the new modern airport as she was leaving and leaving.
I'm about to compare with old airport in Adana.
It's totally great
Lots of space, high ceiling, great duty free and business lounge.
It's a great airport.
I compare it with the old one in Adana - it's heaven and earth.
The ceiling is high, it's cool, the gut is on the plane, not running around the field, a normal buttercup and business halls
A new, modern airport. As of November 2024, repairs are not fully underway. There is duty free, both in the departure and arrival areas, prices for a number of alcohol are lower than in Sheremetyevo. good coffee shops are open, with inflated prices. There is a designated smoking area.
I was in November 2024. Cons: 1 Duty-Free store. There is only one place on the second floor where you can eat and that is small, a waiting room without air conditioning. On the ground floor, 1,800 lire was paid for 2 Americanos and 2 croissants with chocolate.
A nice, new airport. Compared to Adana, of course, heaven and earth. In the direction of Mersin and Silifke, go a little closer, but not fundamentally. In general, there were pleasant impressions of the transfer through this airport. I think a little later everything will be brought to its logical end and everything will be just great.
Probably the worst airport I've ever been to in the world. Even the airline representatives don't speak English. The worst possible inspection, they took away folding bags worth $ 400, which are always taken in hand luggage and obliged me to check in my luggage for an additional fee, because according to the Turkish security services they are unacceptable, which contradicts aviation safety standards. Not a single representative of the company was ready to help me, because the only language spoken by representatives of the INTERNATIONAL airline Aeroflot is Turkish.
A new airport, cleanliness, order, no queues. Tax free, a smoking room in the port itself, next to a cafe, in the open air. The staff speaks English. Parking is free.
New! While there are shoals. But the staff is trying very hard! Friendly, courteous and attentive!
I don't feel like going to the hub yet, but everything is still ahead! We will hear a lot of good things about him soon!
The airport is new, clean, and comfortable. The smoking area is located on the street, among the plants - it's nice to spend time there while waiting for departure.
Beautifully maintained outside, the Havash bus is near the bus stop, sociable taxi drivers have suggested everything! I was inside only at the exit so far
An excellent airport, convenient to get from Mersin, there are no queues for check-in and inspection, but a cup of coffee with pastries is very expensive.
As a person who has graduated from Transportation Engineering, Marine Engineering, Software Engineering and Aviation Management, I have seen so many shortcomings that I can't explain it. If these are the ones that caught my eye, who knows what the ones that didn't hit are, if I'm going to sort:
- Air flight hours should be regulated and tightened. Infrastructure should be established for online ticket sales. In addition, visible signs should be placed at the airport exit related to where the havamash tolls are located. I have written this problem to the head because the time spent on the plane is as much time spent on the arrival of the aviation expedition.
- The airport's sinks should be reworked. Whoever planned the design has a decent architecture from the bus station toilet. What is that red stripe detail anyway? Even Ezel's mother, the blind Meliha, would have chosen a better color.
- The joints of most of the windows facing the apron side are ruined. There are also cables that hit the windows. There are problems related to the joint both inside the airport and outside.
- After leaving the airport, the number of benches to sit on while waiting for air is very small.
- The airport architecture is really poorly planned, the color harmony is extremely bad. Unfortunately, it's not like it can change, but it can be made more beautiful with small touches. I don't understand how they thought black and orange would match the color of the seats. Relaxing colors could be chosen for people who are tired of the road.
- As far as I can see from the outside in the apron part, the slope on the floor has not been adjusted and there are liquid deposits. In winter, when the rains increase, they will have to direct a team to clean it up.
- As a personal problem of mine, a person in human resources is incredibly lacking in merit. 4 in the meeting, he could neither arrange the timing nor inform them in advance that they would not attend the meeting. Nor did he deign to answer the phone. On top of that, we were told that the position was changed and deducted at the salary offer stage, despite the fact that we were interviewed about the position determined before for 4 interviews. Sorry, it wasn't said before either, we were told that our salary offer for this position was directly ordered. This would be the only way out of the environment in which such an unworthy human resource works.
A new, large and promising airport. It is not yet fully equipped and comfortable. But I am sure that over time, the Turks will do everything at the highest level.
The new airport is modern, quite informative and has not yet been explored by tourists. Maybe I was lucky and they talked to me in Russian on the information table. I was quite satisfied
A small provincial airport! To get to the center, you need to take the bus at the exit! Taxis are expensive. Mersin city center is an hour's drive from the airport!
There is not enough food court, the food is all of the same type, perhaps due to the fact that it is connected with the beginning of the airport. There are almost no shops either. But it's better than going to Adana Airport.
Convenient location, everything is convenient, nearby, even the payment of a fine for 4 overdue days did not cause any problems, the hall and toilets are clean
The airport is new, not small, but not yet equipped, very empty. There is no mother and child room. It is not possible to spend the night if there is a long time interval between flights. There is no cafe.
They are still a long way from Russian airports by three points, there are no improvements everywhere and very few people know English, this is about employees, only the goode coffee shop, the rest are three stars with a stretch....
