Worst experience at an airport.
Staff should speak English especially when dealing with tourists.
Not saying this is spain.
The staff at bagage control should also know their job aswell and not every person changes the version of the situation.
Very disappointing.
A clean, modern airport. Easy access to the center of Madrid by matro. It is located right in the airport building. It takes only 30 minutes by taxi for 33 euros. One of the disadvantages is that there are few seats for waiting.
Of course, the airport is huge, and in order to understand the logistics and the symbols that support it, you need to fly more often. Moving between terminals by bus. The fourth one is the farthest, set the time to move. There are many shops and cafes at the airport for every taste. On the downside, there are no hotels nearby. You need to go to the nearest one by transport and the price of accommodation will be like in the center of Madrid.
Great airport. Free baby strollers for long journeys. There are playrooms and children's islands with a special coating for jumping and climbing. Everything is clearly organized, there are signs everywhere. The toilets are perfectly clean.
It's a small airport, but the job is well done. All the controls were quickly passed, the passengers were entertained by a cover band in the lobby - it was pleasantly pleased. There are many shops with a wide variety of products, not only souvenirs and plenty of places where you can eat delicious food. The price tag is almost identical to the prices in Spain
Barajas Airport, officially known as Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas International Airport, is the main air gate not only of the Province of Madrid, but also of the whole of Spain. Located in close proximity to the capital, it serves as a key transportation hub for millions of passengers every year, connecting Spain with the rest of the world through countless destinations.
The airport's design and infrastructure combine functionality and aesthetic appeal, ranging from the imposing Terminal 4, internationally recognized for its innovative design, to well-organized check-in and boarding processes. Cleanliness and order, along with a wide range of services, from restaurants and duty-free shops to VIP halls and conference areas, make the flight waiting time as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
One of the key advantages of Barajas Airport is its location and accessibility. Due to its proximity to Madrid, passengers can easily reach the city center by various means, including metro, buses and taxis, which makes the transition from an international flight to exploring the Spanish capital convenient and fast.
The airport service is also highly appreciated. The staff is always ready to help, whether it's questions about navigating terminals or helping passengers with disabilities. The level of security at the airport is at an altitude, which gives passengers an additional sense of confidence and calmness.
A visit to Barajas Airport leaves an indelible impression due to its scale, quality of services and hospitality. This is a place where every aspect of travel is thought out to the smallest detail, with the aim of making crossing the airport not just a necessary part of the trip, but a pleasant start or end to your visit to Madrid.
A beautiful airport, lots of cafes and restaurants, less expensive compared to other airports. There are many shops. Among the disadvantages: there are no sleeping areas, queues to the toilet.
a convenient airport consisting of four terminals.. there are connections between terminals (free buses, trains). at the airport, in some places there are signs in Russian. The waiting areas are comfortable.
A very large airport! It is better to arrive in advance so that you have time to go shopping, cafes and buy what you didn't have time for) I didn't have enough time.
All international flights to Europe depart from the first old terminal! But all flights of the local airline and Emirates are serviced in the new fourth terminal. It 's already getting a little bit better 😂
Overall, the airport is good, easy navigation, and delays are minimal. For the fifth year we have been going to the same burger King before departure)
A large modern airport. There are 4 terminals, a bus runs between them. You need to carefully look at which terminal you need before departure.
T4 - departures in the eurozone, large, many shops, cafes.
T2 is international, smaller.
The airport staff are polite, they will always tell you.
There are not many long queues at passport control.
An excellent airport, especially the new terminal T4, is large and spacious, but you need to take into account that for international flights from this terminal you need to take the subway, it is located inside the airport
A good convenient airport, we have been here more than once, and it was always convenient to eat, wait for boarding, and buy something. Earlier, however, there were more shops, the pandemic ruined everything, but the number of cafes has not decreased, and coffee with croissants in them is still delicious. It is convenient to leave from here, you can get to the city center by bus, and the price remains 5 euros per person, there are also many transfer minibuses to hotels.
It's a good airport. We were in the T1 terminal
There are shops . There is a separate queue for passengers with children at the inspection .
Entry by car for disembarkation of passengers is free of charge.
It is quite convenient and fast, which is not typical for Spaniards. The airport is clean, comfortable, cool, and the navigation is very clear. The range of shops and cafes in the preflight area is quite large.
I liked it. Especially terminal 4. New, big. It resembles Istanbul airport. There are many good cafes. The staff is friendly. Convenient location. Good shops. Clean and tidy.
A good airport, free check-in, if you arrive early, there is duty free both before and after the border guards, but it is more victorious there. They land according to the rules, first the last rows, so the first rows will have to stand. As a disadvantage, suitcases are loaded carelessly (one was torn out with meat, the other dangled on snot)
The airport is not the best one I've ever been to
Firstly, it is quite old
Secondly, it is huge — you can walk 10-15 minutes from one gate to another! (It surprised me at all)
Thirdly, the choice of places where you can eat and buy a bottle of water is very small
It's a good airport. The tax free zone is located next to the check-in counters. The only thing is that their customs officers force them to tick all the checks in blue vending machines before approaching them (I think it's called diva). Tax free was issued without any problems, but the most expensive purchases were asked to be shown. So, it's better to approach them first, then check in the luggage. It is also better to arrange the cash refund checks and the card in advance in different stacks in order to receive all cash refunds faster. These money-back counters are located after registration, but before passport control. Please note that a tax refund on the card can only be obtained if it is issued outside of Russia. If you don't have one, then apply for Tax free in cash. But there is a subtlety here too. The most popular global blue is only in the central terminal, we flew from terminal 1 and there are others there, they give money at an unfavorable rate. From 192 euros, almost 30 were accepted. The dutik is good, but we didn't have time to walk carefully
A normal airport, it can be seen that it is no longer the newest. When exiting the plane, the guard immediately checks for a visa in the passport - this is the first time I've seen this...
I flew from Madrid to Chisinau.... I got stressed... Nowhere... neither the ticket nor the check-in indicates which terminal the plane is flying from. I arrived by bus from Bilbao to Terminal 4... And it began ... There is no flight to Chisinau in the schedule, there is no employee in the help desk, I do not know the language... The translator is on the phone, who I don't ask, no one knows anything.
I got to the 1st floor and only there they told me that I needed to go to the 1st terminal . I found a bus, sat down and went into the unknown. It was a decent time to drive, but everything was a blur. When I saw the flight in the information board, I felt better, of course I figured it out. Please write to me where I still had to find out and see that the departure was from terminal 1. After all, if it had been indicated on the ticket or at registration, I would have gone there right away. Such a journey!!!!
An international airport of medium level, there is everything you need, but there is clearly not enough cleanliness... the time for inspection is reasonable, entry into the Schengen area is relatively hassle-free.
Excellent design and perfectly organized flows for passengers
Clear pointers
Although at first you can get a little confused, you may have to take the inner metro to the exit
Very parochial for the capital. Old, shabby, small. Business class... atas, at 17.00 there is only beer and crackers, rotten watermelon and a huge ku-ar code, which can be used to find information that they have a break between lunch and dinner.
A megalopolis in a megalopolis! Huge. But, if you don't panic, it's not difficult to figure it out. And find the right terminal. There are many toilets and they are clean. Snack points are everywhere. The elevators are working. It's normal and even interesting))
A huge airport. Transfer from terminal to terminal using a free bus and train. English is practically not used, the problem is. The staff does not know the rules for passing transit passengers well, they almost turned around with the current Schengen, which is one way, which is back.
A good convenient airport. It's a bit cramped, the planes used to be clearly smaller, now when boarding 150+ passengers, a large crowd forms at the gate.
A bit of a clueless airport. The movement of passengers from terminal to terminal is hampered by queues for check-in and randomly scattered cafes and shops. There are not enough toilets and they are unevenly located. Don't wait for the next one, go to the nearest one)
