Standard airport, overcrowded in high season. Very slow security, check-in and control procedures. International lounge is quite modest in terms of food and drinks variety. Duty free shops are average. Waiting for the new terminal which is under construction at the moment.
There are long queues for departure, but they pass quickly. There is a lot of space in the duty-free zone and at the gates and everything before that is very compact. The points of pre-flight procedures literally follow each other without unnecessary distances. The order is as follows: 1. inspection at the entrance (as usual - things, watches, belts, outerwear on a ribbon), 2. check-in (there is nowhere to print the boarding pass: we printed at the hotel, but there was this queue, because the increased hand luggage, we were recommended to approach "to avoid misunderstandings"), 3. control at the escalator (an employee scans the barcode from the boarding pass), 4. passport control (they sternly look at you and take pictures on camera, put a stamp on your passport), 5. inspection (when passing through the frame, everything is written it is not clear why, because of this a lot of unnecessary gestures, and it is important: we carried they brought water and juices from the hotel twice, they didn't tell us anything, perhaps because the child and I, other passengers threw out water en masse). We arrived at the airport at 6:20 a.m., at 7:20 a.m. we were already at the gates, having breakfast. We were flying with Azimut Airlines, there was a small queue at our check-in desk (sukhoi Superjet 100), there were 5 times more people on the next one, maybe only check-in started there, and we approached our desk 2 hours before departure, that is, probably most of the passengers on our flight had already checked in. Then at 7:35 we were assigned a gate, which turned out to be on the first floor (we found seats on the second) and while we were packing and walking to it for 5 minutes, we already managed to make a personal "last warning" over the speakerphone. 5 minutes! When we reached our gate, we got in line, which means that we were clearly not the last and not late, why should we and only us make such a warning. Moreover, the landing was supposed to be before 8:15. By 7:45 everyone was already on the bus, they waited for another 20 minutes for something, then drove to the plane for a long time. We were very surprised that the landing ended half an hour ahead of schedule. And at the exit, my husband's landing (not me! ) they asked if I was pregnant. I would have been offended if I hadn't seen that earlier at the registration a very slender young girl was asked the same thing in front of her husband. But it's still unpleasant that my husband is being asked.. Apparently a national nuance. I wonder what would have happened if I had been pregnant and it turned out during boarding, but there would have been no certificate, they did not ask us specifically about this at the registration. Russian Russian is not the same as in Russia, no one speaks Russian, only English is not everywhere, but flights to Russia are duplicated in Russian. What else can I say: in the second terminal there is a large paid children's playroom, airport staff are not too friendly, there is no priority for passengers with young children, as in Russia, no one speaks Russian, only English and then not everywhere, but flights to Russia are duplicated in Russian. We did not find a public Wi-Fi, and there was no time. It seems to be said that somewhere below it should be taken, in the registration area, but there is usually no time to do this. Upstairs, access is already given only when buying something in cafes or in CIP. Before the trip, I thought about taking fast track, but for the three of us it cost like 200 plus euros and in general, everything went relatively well without this service. I didn't have to pay for anything anywhere.
Everything was convenient on arrival. You can change the currency. I was only confused by passport control, where an employee forbade me and my child to go to the front of the queue (we thought there was a priority like in Russia) and kicked us out at the end, rudely throwing our passports
I have visited Antalya Airport several times and I want to share my impressions. Firstly, the airport is very clean and modern, all terminals are conveniently located and easily accessible. The check-in process is fast and without delays due to the efficient management of passenger flows.
There are also many shops and restaurants at the airport where you can have a snack or buy souvenirs. The prices of goods may be slightly higher than in the city, but the choice is quite large. Wi-Fi is available for free throughout the airport, which allows you to stay connected while waiting for a flight.
However, it is worth noting that in summer there may be a lot of people at the airport, especially in high season, so the waiting time may increase. Nevertheless, the airport staff tries to ensure a comfortable stay for each passenger, helping to resolve any issues.
In general, Antalya Airport leaves a good impression and is convenient for travelers.
I recently visited Antalya Airport and was impressed by its modern and convenient design, scale and developed infrastructure. The terminal is clean and tidy, with pointers for easy orientation. The departure area is spacious and bright, with many cafes and restaurants for a snack before departure, as well as duty-free shops for souvenirs and gifts. The airport staff are professional and polite, always ready to help with any questions. In general, Antalya airport made a pleasant impression, I recommend it to visit.
A small, cozy, clean airport. Friendly and very adequate staff at all stages of interaction. Very efficient inspection and registration. Most of the staff understands English, and if you want, you can actually find a Russian speaker.
In my opinion, the most loyal and kind passport and customs control. They always smile and help. They love children very much and treat the older generation with respect. Not once in many years! I have not been fined or deported for "Overstay" for more than 6 months! my children and my retired mother were invited to come back instead :)
And those who complain about the large number of people have simply never been to a large airport :)
I have been to Antalya Airport several times, and overall it leaves a good impression. There are many shops, restaurants and cafes here, which makes waiting for a flight comfortable. However, sometimes it seems that there is not enough space to wait. All the cafes are usually crowded with people, especially when there are flight delays. It is often necessary to observe how passengers are forced to sit right on the floor throughout the airport waiting room because there are no empty seats.
It is especially unpleasant when the flight is delayed and you are sent to some far corner of the terminal. For some reason, the staff there forgets that there are such languages as Russian and English, and communicates exclusively in Turkish. Sometimes one gets the feeling that new terminals and infrastructure improvements would be very useful.
A decent airport
There are accordingly shops where you can shop or have a snack
While waiting for the plane, it's very interesting to walk there
There are panoramic windows with beautiful views of many planes
There was a flight from St. Petersburg to Antalya, everything went well, food was given out on the plane (I flew in economy)
On the return flight, the plane was delayed for an HOUR and a half!
Because of this case, 4 stars
Everything else is ok!
Antalya Airport impresses with its modernity and comfort. There are clean terminals, friendly staff, and plenty of shops and cafes. Unexpectedly quick security checks. We were also pleased to have convenient waiting areas. It is very convenient to get to the city. Overall, a great place to start or end a trip.
A convenient airport, clear navigation with separate zoning on arrival and departure, it's nice that the luggage always arrives whole. The arrival and departure areas have everything you need for passengers and their greeters/escorts. You can rent a car at the airport, buy a SIM card, and exchange currency, but the rates are not favorable compared to resort towns. In the departure area there are pharmacies, fast food, duty-free, and even playgrounds for children.
Infrastructure: Modern terminals with good facilities, including shops and restaurants.
Cleanliness and order: Well-groomed and clean territory.
Service: Courteous staff, ready to help, although queues are possible during peak periods.
Transport accessibility: Convenient connection to the city center and resorts (two terminals are located at a decent distance from each other), including buses, taxis and transfers.
Security: Strict security measures, which can sometimes lead to delays in control.
During peak seasons, there may be delays at passport control and baggage claim, but in general Antalya Airport in Muratpasha provides a comfortable and convenient experience for passengers.
Comfortable. The streams are well organized. Excellent service. A modern, developing airport. It is quite close to the city. You can get there by any transport. Large spacious areas for Parking and temporary storage of your car.
When there is only one airport, what is its rating :) The food is incredibly expensive. Navigation and the device as a whole are clear and logical. There is a smoking room in the clean area. Water is usually not taken away during the inspection. For tourists from companies, maximum priority and convenience are given, parking for tourist buses is closer, and personal cars are further away. Terminals 1 and domestic have a tram to the center, Terminal 2 has only rare buses from public transport. Unfortunately, there are only the same buses between the terminals every hour and a half, or a taxi, or 2 km on foot. Luggage is not released very quickly. There are few people in the off-season, you can get through everything very quickly. There are a lot of destinations in the season, more than in Sabiha even.
modern look, good duty-free, spacious and clean. The queues for departure are huge, but the quick service smoothes the situation a little. Clean toilets. The airport is small.
The airport is currently being expanded and there will be new terminals.
I hope this will smooth out the shortcomings.
A very busy airport (Terminal 2). We visited many times at different times of the year, once there were more people, once there were fewer. Sometimes the queues for registration are so huge that the whole hall is packed with people. This time there were not many people flying out on 2.11 (compared to the full house in May). Check-in was opened 2 hours before departure, and I had to wait in line all the time. And then gallop across Europe.
The airport is dirty in my opinion, suitcases always arrive dirty, there is a very bad tape for receiving suitcases, they fly out from a height. When we were with one suitcase, the wheels flew apart from such a fall.
Passport control passes quickly enough, even on arrival, even on departure.
In general, I don't really like this airport, although it is intuitive.
Good day to all!
To date, it was one of the countries of the resort destination in which we did not have a chance to visit for various reasons. The main thing was that there was no great desire.
But in 2024, in October, we visited Antalya Airport upon arrival.
The airport itself, of course, no longer corresponds to the flow of passengers arriving and departing from it. It's the month of October, and there's a lot of hustle and bustle in the departure area. In some places it is even difficult to get through. I'm afraid to imagine what happens here in July and September, at the peak of the season.
There are crowds of people at the check-in desks of airlines flying to Russia. Fortunately, we were registering for another company and it was much quieter and without a queue.
Next, customs control and inspection, here, to our surprise and probably thanks to the excellent work of the staff, there is not much fuss. Everything is fast and calm enough. And here it is, a storage unit of a clean zone with gates for landing. For some reason, there are a lot of people in this place and there are not enough places for everyone. Some areas with benches have been fenced off by the staff for some reason and are not allowed to gather. The center of the hall with shops and cafes is a huge and noisy anthill. The tables at the food areas are almost occupied, and those that are vacated are cleaned for a very long time. Due to the large number of passengers and noise, the announcements voiced at the airport are almost inaudible.
The overall impression of the airport, even taking into account all the comments, is positive.
It can be seen that the terminal is being expanded, there is a large construction site nearby.
We hope that soon it will begin to cope with the volume of passenger traffic.
There is a very good airport in Antalya, for tourists from Russia there is generally a blessing, there are all the signs and tour operators with their counters at the exit, to get lost there you have to be a complete degenerate.
A separate pleasure is the arrivals for domestic flights and a separate exit, so as not to crowd with your compatriots in one place and catch a taxi pretending to be local at an affordable price.
The city tram (the cheapest and fastest way to get to the bus station or the city center) departs from the terminal serving domestic flights. And the main flow of Russian tourists is "brought" to the international terminal 2. How do I get to the tram? For 5-10$ taxi (2 minutes ride) if you are with a suitcase or on foot (15 minutes) - free of charge. Route: turn right at the exit from Terminal 2 and go to the end of the terminal building until parking runs out. Then turn left under the bridge, along the road along which all transport goes from terminal 2 (about 1 km). At the end of this crossing, take a left at the fork and after 100 meters on the right you will see a "viaduct" with rails for a tram. Another 200 meters under the viaduct and opposite the entrance to the internal terminal, an escalator goes up to the tram stop. Congratulations, the city center is available to you with adequate prices for SIM cards and exchangers.
I'll start with the fact that I've been to Turkey a lot of times and I really like to relax there, this year I came with my wife together, she visited it for the first time, the airport of course in Antalya was very tired on arrival, we went to the bathroom very much, it was clear that they didn't particularly stick together for cleanliness, tiles in the rooms peel off and walk when you step on it is very comfortable in many places, the gum is stuck on, no one will remove it from the floor, in general, you need to put things in order and everything will be OK as before. I saw that the new terminal is being built well done, but the cleaning needs to be monitored.
A decent international airport. For fans of duty free, there is a place to roam. For the hungry, it's a decent choice where to go. Bathroom for 4, well, it's everywhere. There are good souvenirs, prices are higher than outside the airport, well, if you don't have time, pay a couple of bucks more.
1. There are not enough seats, given that the transfer most often brings tourists a long time before departure and people sometimes have to sit even on the floor.
2. It was stuffy, it felt like people were getting sick.
3. The women's toilet near the 60 boarding gates does not close, but due to the fact that there is always a long queue there, it is clear to everyone whether it is occupied or not 😏
4.In general, it's a bit dirty, some of the seats are broken off.
5. There are always very nice, pleasant staff at the check-in desks, well done, at least you raise the mood among this fuss ☺
There have been changes over the year. Expanded, everything is concise and clear, clean, the toilets are on top, the staff is responsive. But I had to stomp far to the tram, if I had been the first time I would not have found the way. When there will be a civil transfer from one terminal to another. The last station has not been launched yet.
It's a good airport. Passport control on arrival is clear, fast, and there are as many windows as necessary. There were delays in baggage collection last year and this summer. The Turks have completed the premises in Terminal 2: additional baggage claim tapes - now everything is OK. The dootie is normal. The prices in the cafe are too high. Clear. There is a smoking area in the departure area.
Polite staff.Everything is clean.however, the wait back for tickets is very long.Everything is fast and fast in Sheremetyevo.and we've been standing here for over an hour.but before taking into account, you want to go shopping. In the end, everything turned out to be crumpled.I had to hurry very much.although the shops have friendly staff.and it would be great if it was possible to pay using mir cards or rubles
There are a lot of people, it's dirty, condos work so that in some places it's fine, and in some places it's just a mess, there are places where condos don't work at all. I'm not talking about prices at all, as of August 2024, a half-liter bottle of water is the cheapest 4 euros, as well as 5 euros, a bun, a pretzel, a croissant - 5 euros, something more serious than 10-20 euros, a Red Bull energy drink 11-14 euros!!))) there are advantages, the border and customs control staff works quite quickly, queues of 20-30 people per window, this is tolerable. Flights to Russia and Iran are isolated, like outcasts)), driven by a bus full of passengers)), all wet from the heat)). Of course, the port is being actively built and growing)). Nothing outstanding.
Everything is fast in winter mode. But there's a bus to the plane, and I'm in winter quarters. At the same time, the plane is parked somewhere very far from the terminal. Upon arrival, passport control and baggage are available within literally 30 minutes. For example, in the summer they take 2-3 flights on one tape, in winter they make such a mess - that's when we arrived))
It is poorly organized with toll free - they are reluctant to register, once they were sent to the point of return on the 2nd floor with a specific brand of goods, and this is already for passport control. And they said that this product is on the 1st floor. Well, kind of oops.
Dutik is big, there are a lot of things. The bathrooms are relatively clean, and there are queues in summer.
Business halls are normal both internationally and domestically (it is more modest).
I didn't like that AK didn't have a terminal to pay for the preponderance, only cash. And the ATMs in the arrival area are only (scratch around the corners for 10 minutes), you need to put ATMs in the depot.
The usual airport in Antalya. Everything is clean, there is a toilet, the exits to the plane are conveniently painted, there are many shops, there is a place to eat. Purchases are possible for dollars and euros.
After the introduction of Terminal 2, the airport's operation became more stable and parking spaces increased. The toilets and rooms for the child are always clean and equipped. Everything is intuitive. Safely.
There is always a place where you can sit and wait until departure. Free Wi-Fi for 30 minutes. The toilets are clean. There are many shops where there is food , water , souvenirs, a pharmacy.
A terrible airport, of course. But there is no choice here.
Upon arrival, be prepared to wait for things for an extremely long time. You may be able to get here faster than you can wait for your things. When the tape finally starts moving, take your time to rejoice — they give them literally a couple of suitcases per minute. However, all these are trifles compared to what awaits you on departure.
Departure: Very hot and very, very stuffy. For a very long time, there are huge queues everywhere. Terminal 1 is extremely small, and there are many tourists. This is the first time I have come across the fact that it is literally impossible to sit down.
The terminal is clearly not designed for such a flow. Even at the very end of the season (mid-October), there is a terrible crowd.
They are constantly hysterically announcing something on the speakerphone. But how unintelligible that it is impossible to understand in any language. You just realize that some poor people in all this chaos missed their flight.
(By the way, Aeroflot flies from Terminal 2, maybe it's better there. It did not suit us in terms of departure time)
The VIP lounge was not found. The cafes are all crowded and there is nowhere to sit either.
There is very little choice in duty-free. But there is a plus — you can order in advance online and only pay on the spot. But this is ideally the case, but in fact, prepare for the fact that the order will not be found immediately, assuring that it does not exist. (Don't forget to make a confirmation screen with the order number. Otherwise, the connection here is not very stable.) Then it turns out that there was no part of what was ordered and another part was mixed up. It's better to check everything out. Cashiers speak a little Russian, but in any non-standard situations this will not be enough, but they have a real problem with English. Well, or we are so "lucky")) After all these trials, it's easier to accept)
In general, I sincerely hope that never ever!
There is a good airport for duty free fans at the exit and the prices seem to be cheaper! The airport is large and has 2 multi-functional terminals, fast enough service during check-in and customs clearance (our Pulkovo is far from them).
It's cool that there's a tram running from the airport to the city now, fast and very convenient. The airport is good and convenient. It's full in summer, and half of the airport is closed in winter due to the lack of tourists.
Good morning. Turkey is not the same anymore. But you can rest. Excellent airport with good cafes and shops, clean sea, Turkish service from the plane to the hotel. I recommend.
We flew on vacation.I really liked the airport, everything is clean inside, the air conditioners are working, the luggage was delivered in 10 minutes.after arrival. The staff is pleasant to communicate with, they will tell you where to go to the reception desks.
It's hard when there are a lot of flights departing next to yours. When there are fewer people, you can safely choose your purchases in dutifrey and find free places on the food court. But mostly it's hustle and bustle.
There are very few places to sit, and there is nowhere to fall during the tourist season. Also, the higher you go to the upper floors, the hotter it gets (ventilation on the upper floors is just tin). The Internet is generally a separate story of laughter, in order to connect paid wi-fi, you need to register and receive confirmation via mail. The funny thing is that there is no Internet, but confirmation via mail (idiocy). There is no currency exchange on departure, there is no information kiosk on departure (Russian bank cards do not work).
A well-developed place has a lot of things, those who were there for the first time have something to do if they are not tired. I was surprised by the order and cleanliness, and especially the smoking area, at that time it was clean!
Everything was cool, lots of people from all over the world. But everything was functioning perfectly. They were given business class on the plane instead of the usual ones. Everyone is smiling and speaks several languages. Clean and civilized.
Nice and clean, modern airport
It's nice to be in it
But in no case do not change money inside its territory, they cheat and even persuade you to exchange as much as possible, they say, it's more profitable this way
And everything looks decent, like a mini exchange office, guys in a shirt
In fact: in the city, 100 € will be exchanged for 3700 liras
And here 100€ = 2700 liras
This is a good "margin" 😏
