Vending machines accept only local currency, which was not very convenient for me. But later I came across an Exchange, after which I was able to buy mineral water. The 4 hours spent at the airport flew by unnoticed.

A huge, but quite understandable airport. It is possible to wait for a long flight only on benches, most of which are metal and it is cold to sit on them.There is free Wi-Fi, but it does not work everywhere. The toilets are very clean and comfortable. There are several cafes and a small shop. The security service is friendly, but performs its functions clearly and efficiently.

Very clean and almost cozy.
DutiFry was closed 10 minutes earlier, which was very surprising. The range of products is scarce. Wi-Fi is also off until 4 a.m. The cafes are closed.
Air conditioning for maximum cold.
No capsule hotels, no blankets. There are decent toilets, which is very important when you get cold.
There is a smoking room. I don't smoke, thanks for not choking on the smoke.
The cafe opened at 5 a.m., the money is only Polish zloty or a card, Sberbank passes.
In short, in the morning I remembered both the Warsaw ghetto and the United Nations...using obscenities.
The coffee brought me to my senses. The hot sandwich calmed me down a bit.

A good and convenient airport. There are no crowds. The staff works quickly. The entrance is quite easy. It is possible to leave the car in the parking lot for the duration of the trip. Sufficient Duty Free zone and clear navigation through Gates.

I did not like sending all passengers without Schengen by the back streets, the inspection was carried out on two lines out of four, which delayed the boarding procedure.
Because of this, I was almost late twice, although there was an hour's time between arrival and departure.
Against this background, I want to praise Riga Airport, where, with the same one-hour margin, additional baggage screening, I always had time to have a snack and drink coffee!
