A cool cafe in Sukhum, they cook very tasty. Salad - large portions. The kebab is very tasty! I'm writing, and I'm salivating, remembering their kitchen. One of the disadvantages is that it is located in a corner, it took a long time to find a cafe. The application gave false information about the location of the Abaza cafe. And another disadvantage is that there is no bank card payment terminal. A nice waiter girl solved this problem by giving us the Internet. By the way, out of 6 days of rest in Sukhum, we spent three evenings in the cafe Abaza. The Russian DJ guy famously selected musical compositions in such a way that both guests and locals could dance with pleasure. Many thanks to the staff and management of the cafe! We will be happy to visit more than once!

We decided to stop by on the last day of rest. The reviews promised delicious local cuisine. The place is colorful, mostly local, noisy, smoky, most of the company's tables were celebrating other holidays, etc. And for me, this can be attributed to the advantages, a direct immersion in local life. Prices can't be lower. I didn't like the service, for a long time, you don't exist at all for the waitresses. The kitchen was disappointing too, okay, chicken, but the pork shish kebab should be dried like that, the boat is also nice.

Of course, this is not a restaurant in the conventional sense, but rather a huge cafe with national cuisine. Meat in Abkhazian, hashlama, boat with egg, trout - delicious. All the food is very tasty, the prices are pleasant, the service is super-efficient. We lived nearby, had dinner 2 times because it was very tasty. There is local wine and chacha, bottled lemonade produced by Sukhumi brewery is the tastiest! The size of the cafe allows you to have a wedding))) one of the obvious disadvantages is that despite the fact that the area is called the Central one, the cafe is located in a mixture of the private sector and the industrial zone. The road is generously strewn with pits, pedestrian sidewalks are missing as a class. In the evening, many people gather in the cafe, including representatives of the police, so the place is popular and worthy. The flavor is complemented by camellias blooming right in the cafe and impudent cats who are waiting for you to relax in order to steal the most delicious piece.
You can pay in cash or by transfer using a card number (as in most places in Abkhazia).

The third is the taste of the dishes. We didn't like it at all. We ordered a frying pan with beef. The meat is dry, weathered, it feels like yesterday's boiled meat was simply overcooked with vegetables and served as a dish. The kebab was not the one that was ordered. It was salty, dry, and the quince sauce saved him a little. The children ate ice cream, but ice cream is also ice cream in Africa. The only thing I liked was the cold dogwood compote. This place was recommended to us by a local resident, because he comes here quite often. We no longer hoped that we would find a place in Abkhazia where you can have a very tasty meal and not be surprised by the prices on the menu. I definitely recommend this place and especially the places near the cauldrons and the barbecue. You warm yourself from the heat of the campfire and watch how fish or barbecue are cooked for you. Among the advantages: here is the most delicious boat in Abkhazia. There are many different national dishes. Inexpensive and delicious wine and local lemonade.
Cons: the service - one time they didn't bring us one dish, the second time they brought something they didn't order. They did not react to our arguments that we did not order in any way. If the waitress brought the dish, it means they ordered it. That was the answer. For the third time, pork was brought instead of chicken kebab.
In a word, they cook delicious, but the waiters do not know how to work.
Don't take the cutlets, they overcook them. The kebab is also very weak. Very tasty garlic sauce. Payment in cash only.

For the first time, we took a boat and khachapuri. Very tasty! I heartily recommend the adze above all praise.
But they are not friends with meat. The pork kebab is disgusting, maybe the meat was smoked or old, I don't know, it's generally smelly! We waited for meat for a long time. We also took chicken in hot sauce (I don't remember the name of the dish) the chicken breast was dry, although there was a lot of sauce and delicious, but only lovers of dry breast will like the dish.
Caesar salad - Peking cabbage with a smear, plus some good pieces of salted fish. Still, I would like some kind of sauce, not a ton of ointment.

Only the boats are delicious, but this is the local cuisine and everyone knows how to make them. The portions are small (apparently for children). Loud music, an 80s disco.. You can't talk calmly, you have to shout. There are dogs everywhere. Flies are flying. They throw the menu on the table, wait for the waiter for at least half an hour.

It looks like a good, good place, everyone praises the reviews, so we decided to go to lunch at this, if I may say so, institution. The whole impression of the place was spoiled by flies, which fly everywhere here as soon as they bring food. The waiters are sitting in a sprawl in the hall, they do not respond to requests to approach. We forgot about the shish kebab altogether, we have already eaten, we sit waiting for the shish kebab for 10 minutes, 20 minutes, we call the waitress, ask about the shish kebab, after which we just started cooking it. They asked for the bill, paid, waiting for the change, bring the wrong amount, called the waitress, reported the missing amount.
Tips are included in the receipt here and it is clear why, with such an attitude towards guests, it is unlikely that anyone will voluntarily leave even a ruble for tea. At the same time, because of this, the waiters have little motivation to leave a good impression of the place and provide good service, they will receive their percentage of the receipt anyway.
The food is not very tasty, although the prices of this place are able to compete with the restaurants of St. Petersburg and Moscow, which also does not do the restaurant any credit.
In general, I strongly advise all vacationers in Sukhum to avoid this place
