I live in this hotel, I really like everything.Clean, cozy rooms, friendly staff.The on-site restaurant serves delicious food, huge portions, the restaurant staff are very kind, they prompt and tell everything. A wonderful place! We rested here in late August - early September 2024. I really liked everything! Polite and helpful staff, the hotel is clean, cozy, beautiful. The room has a TV, a refrigerator, a kettle, a comfortable large bed, snow-white bed linen, towels for personal hygiene and for the beach, a hair dryer, daily room cleaning, soap, shampoo, shower gel, in general everything you need to eat. We took breakfast from the food, because lunch and dinner did not always work out at the hotel, we went on excursions. The restaurant is very good - the food is always delicious, the portions are large enough, the prices are fully acceptable, it's not even expensive for a restaurant. The beach area is constantly cleaned, free sun beds, in sufficient quantity, there are umbrellas, a shower on the beach. The water in the sea is clean, warm and transparent, dolphins swam almost every day, once there was a current with cold water, from the side of a mountain river, but mostly it is always warm. The hotel has a large swimming pool, around which there are also sun loungers and parasols. The territory of the hotel itself is not large, everything is nearby, there is a cafe-bar near the pool, 100 meters to the sea. The territory is fenced and guarded. A great place for a quiet, relaxing, family vacation. It is very convenient to relax with children here, all conditions are created, there is a children's room with an animator. I personally really liked it here, if you don't have enough and need entertainment, you can go to neighboring hotels, but it's quiet and peaceful here. I think I would love to come here for a rest. We stayed at this hotel during the May holidays (from April 30 to May 10) with three children (14, 5 and 1 year old) the hotel is super. The meals were breakfasts and dinners- perfect. Everything is very tasty, always fresh, shish kebab for dinner every day, and delicious cakes for breakfast.
The pool is clean, warm, and we swam a lot, because it's not the season to swim in the sea yet. Although there were some brave souls) The hotel is right on the beach, with gorgeous sunsets every evening! Horses and cows are always grazing near the hotel, beautiful ponds nearby and the very beautiful mouth of the Bzyb River, do not be lazy, take a walk. If we go to Abkhazia, then only here! ☝️

We liked the hotel, there is an elevator, we had full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), the quality of the food satisfied us. The territory of the hotel is large, there is a swimming pool and a bar. Of the disadvantages, it is not always possible to have breakfast, lunch and dinner when you plan, for the reason that there are no empty seats, which was very annoying. Very little pressure in the shower, especially in the morning. Smoking is not allowed on the loggia.

There were dolphins every day! The entrance to the sea is gentle, not large pebbles, aquasocks are needed, it will be more comfortable this way. The village itself is small and quiet. There are grocery stores, a pharmacy. For souvenirs and fruits, we went to Pitsunda, by taxi (300 rubles), 10 minutes to go to the market. and just take a walk! There are several cafes. A very beautiful place, not far from the hotel, where the Bzyb River flows into the sea! You can walk along the beach or take a detour along the path. They make great photos! We will definitely return there again!

We rested from September 2 to September 12. The hotel itself is nice, fresh and modern! Great food at the bar for the money. It is very tasty and varied. In the dining room, the menu is designed for children. The beach is nice, clean, the water is 28 degrees and transparent as a tear! Dolphins swim 20 meters away! But... the service wants the best. The faucet flowed - for the entire time after the application, no one came. Although the hotel is a chain hotel, the concept and service is different from the hotel in Staraya Gagra. I had a vacation with my children (6 and 14 years old) and my grandmother in Abaat Pitsunda in September, a wonderful hotel! On the very shore of the sea! Dolphins come every morning! The sea is clean, the beach from the hotel is clean, wide, there are sun beds and umbrellas. Vacationers from other hotels are trying to stay at Abaaty Beach and take the hotel's sun beds, the staff is watching this. As a wish for the hotel, do not miss Abaats from other hotels that do not have their own beach for recreation on the beach, because vacationers do not want to lie next to garbage, so they go to the territory of Abaats.
There is a heated swimming pool, clean! Sun beds, umbrellas, a bar nearby. The territory is clean, well maintained! There are benches where you can sit and enjoy the sea and breathe fresh air! There is Parking, the territory is closed! The restaurant is delicious, the dishes are fresh, there are a lot of pastries, I have repeatedly noted the chefs for the delicious dishes, the waiters are well done! the location of the hotel is not the best - it is a poultry farm village between Gagra and Pitsunda. there are no normal shops here, there is no promenade (only a short one along the hotel) from the centers of civilization - only the hotel itself and the Boxwood Grove boarding house occupies a large space within walking distance. You can walk there.
in general, a vacation for pensioners and families with young children is ideal.
young people and families with teenagers will be bored here.
We recommend that you immediately take a room with a sea view, because the reverse side is a view of the mountains - for now, along with the construction site under the windows. but soon there will be a sports ground on the site of the plowed field and another hotel complex will grow nearby.

We had a rest in July 2024 in the suburb of Pitsunda at the ABAATA hotel.

The bathroom is damp , ventilation is weak .

Everything is very fresh, the portions are huge, the mantas are just a separate story, I wanted to call the chefs after the meal and kiss their hands. In the morning there is a buffet, at lunch they give an excerpt from the main menu, in the evening there is a buffet again. The confectionery is simply delicious.The waiters were very friendly and served quickly. There is a full-day entertainment program for both children and adults. There is a grocery store and a pharmacy nearby. I advise you to take cash with you, you won't be able to pay with a card. There is a small river nearby, and horses and cows are walking next to it. Swimming on the beach is a lottery, thanks to the cold water from the river and floating branches, we swam 2 times in a week. Don't expect much from nutrition either. Children's animation consists of an adult aunt who tries to entertain children in a separate room by drawing, singing, and playing games. There is no more entertainment for children. There is simply nothing to do, the only entertainment is the pool and the bar. If you think between Turkey 4 stars and the abbot for the same money, then definitely Turkey, if it's much cheaper, then you can come for once. Like a trip to Abkhazia for the first time, definitely not here.

We have been to the Abbot 2 times in a row . 2023 and 2024 are heaven and earth . When we stopped by for the second time, there was one large bed, although there were 2 beds . The beach is pebbly, there are large pebbles in the water, take special shoes or you can buy them for 450 rubles at the nearest store. Buffet meals (1200 rubles per person), the only surprise was that there were no fruits, berries, and they were afraid to buy in the store. The Internet is good, it catches on the beach. The disadvantage is the wooden frames on the windows, which have already begun to crumble from such a climate, I think that they will have to be replaced soon. There is not enough clothes dryer (after the publication of this review today, July 6, the dryer magically appeared in the room). There are interruptions with water, the water pressure is minimal.

Cows, horses and dogs walking along the shore do not interfere, but on the contrary, add a certain flavor)
The girls at the reception are really unfriendly (today they also suddenly became friendly), you have to find out and find everything yourself. So, upon check-in, they said that the spa was not working yet, but it turned out that the massage was already working, as a result, I missed several days. We swam both in the pool and in the sea. The weather was different. The room was taken with a sea view, an apartment. The window is large, you sit down in the evening and you don't need a TV or other gadgets. The picture is fascinating. Sunsets, dolphins swimming almost every day, an evening thunderstorm over the sea, stars over the sea... Very beautiful view!
They took paid breakfasts. I liked the menu. Thanks to the waitress Nina and many thanks to the cook Lyuba. She made a cake for my birthday, very tasty🎂
As for the shops, of course, there is a choice, you won't die of hunger, but still we went to Pitsunda and bought food and wine there. By the way, 3 km from the hotel there is a winery and a shop with Chateau Abbas👍

We had a rest in July 2023. There are pros and cons. The hotel itself is designed in a modern style, and it is also cozy inside. There are two elevators.
The room is nice, comfortably clean. Rooms with sea view and mountain view.
The room has a double bed, sofa, TV, kettle, water, mugs, tea, sugar, dryer. Cleaning of the room on the 4th floor every three days. The cleaner comes in every day to check the towels, pick up the waste.
I would not say, as in some reviews, that the staff is not friendly. No, it's a completely good level. They're trying. It is possible to transfer things to the laundry.
The food is delicious, the prices for some products are overpriced in the restaurant, but this does not affect the rest in any way. It is important that the portions are large. THE SERVICE is still LONG, until you make a remark. The food, the menu is monotonous. A little annoying, it is possible to cover the hotel menu with food from neighboring cafes.
The hotel is on the beach, it is very pleasing. The hotel has a heated swimming pool, very comfortable and there is also a cafe at the pool, which is also very convenient.
Lying on the sea, you can go to the cafe and order something according to the menu, or take it with you to the beach). The bartenders are very frisky, professional.
Of the minuses, I would like to note: near the farm, the village of a poultry farm. Horses and cows walk along the beach, not always, but nevertheless. The smell of the sea merges with the smell of stagnant mud in the swamp. I'm not exaggerating. The sea air is not pure here,
The Bzyb River flows into the sea 300 meters from the hotel. (which the hotel does not inform in advance). It's cold, mountainous. It mixes with the sea and when bathing it is warm at the bottom , and cool at the top. Iced tea is obtained. Plus the smell of horse waste.
As for the beach at the hotel: the beach is sandy, and there are pebbles by the sea shore. The beach is pleasant. Umbrellas, rods, bungalows, there are saps. There are no catamarans. There are places for everyone. There is a lot of garbage after the storm, and some vacationers do not clean up the garbage after themselves. The voluntary site has not been removed yet. The garbage has not been removed from the sea after arrival either.
In general, the owners of the hotel are interested in development, but again, the whole system works slowly. A comfortable beach is important, but it is not completely there. There is also a cold river. The football field on the territory of the hotel was also not fully prepared, and no one played, of course. The territory of the hotel is large, it still needs to be improved.
I will say that the disadvantages did not block the joy of rest in any way. There is a beautiful boxwood grove and a cypress park nearby. There are a lot of sights in Abkhazia, which I do not list in the review. After all, we are talking about the hotel 😉

The hotel is new, clean and cozy. The territory is well maintained. Magnificent views. Amazing, amazing, gorgeous, beautiful, magical sunsets in silence by the sea. The Bomba restaurant - the dishes are delicious, exquisite, the portions are large. Special thanks to the restaurant staff for their professionalism and responsiveness. Regular room cleaning and bed linen change, thanks to the staff. The beach is nearby, where there are always free umbrellas and sun loungers. Animation is both adult and children's. The sea is invigorating, because of the flowing mountain river. But if you walk along the shore, away from the hotel, the water temperature is much warmer. We were also pleased with the dolphins arriving daily (albeit in the distance).
Minuses: 1. When choosing a room with "mountain view" or "sea view", whether superior or standard, you may get a room without a balcony (50 percent of them in the hotel). It is compensated by the delivery of a dryer. 2. A small playground. 3. Stray dogs on the beach. 4. Wi-fi is bad, it hardly reaches the 5th floor, periodically disappearing while "going" :).
Overall, I liked the hotel. But if you like everything to be 5+, then you definitely are not here.

I'll give the hotel a five. We stopped by in October for 2 weeks. Fresh modern renovation, we had a room with a sea view - beauty 💜
The restaurant is very tasty, we went to several places near the hotel, for comparison. The hotel's kitchen wins)
Marina is an excellent animator. Our three-year-old loved to go to her.
Of the minuses, there are dogs walking around the hotel and the beach (I love dogs, but I don't want them to shit in the sand) and cows), cows on the beach were rare, but the road to the hotel was full of traces of their vital activity.
The cleaning is good, but not perfect.
We went from Pegasus, they were not taken on excursions, it was more interesting to rent a car and explore the local beauties on our own)

We rested with my wife at the Abaata hotel for 14 days, from 06/15.24 to 06/28.24, we are from Novosibirsk.
A great hotel, rooms are constantly cleaned, the hotel itself, the territory, the beach, the pool. They only took breakfast, a buffet. The food is delicious, the menu is simple, we always ate well. We had lunch, dinner in a restaurant or in a pool bar, they cook very tasty. Payment in cash or by transfer.
The sea and the pool are within walking distance from the hotel. The territory is large and well maintained. The hotel is mainly designed for people who like a quiet, quiet holiday. We liked that there were no bad, drunken parties. Everyone, hotel staff and tourists, treated each other with respect. The hotel is located far from the road, behind the private sector, the air is magnificent.
From the negative points, maybe they will seem funny to someone, but nevertheless:
1. The music in the bar is only foreign. The employees replied that such a concept. It is not clear why there are no Russian and Abkhaz songs. We came to Abkhazia and wanted to listen to the songs of the indigenous people and of course our own.
2. The gym is not equipped with a horizontal bar and bars, there are also none on the territory. To put them in the fresh air is a minimum of time and cost. There are only treadmills in the gym, there is nothing else. I had to go to the nearby Boxwood Grove Hotel and train there on site. This is not very convenient.
3. There are no safes in the rooms. It makes you nervous. Because there are worries, and suddenly money, documents, bank cards will disappear. There were no such facts in the hotel, but always, something happens for the first time, easy money and their "power" have not been canceled.
These are small remarks and it is good if they are eliminated. Moreover, my wife and I are going to come to the hotel for 14 days, in the second half of September this year, as we really liked it. Overall, everything is great.

for a day. The food was delicious. The territory is large.not quite
planted. There is a corner with hammocks, it's cool to relax in the evening if the mosquitoes don't eat.

Beautiful new hotel, I really liked it. The staff is customer-oriented and friendly. The balcony has an incredibly beautiful view of the sea. The room is large and comfortable. They clean and change towels, update cosmetics every day. They change the bed linen, like once every three days. The Bzyb River flows into the sea nearby, so the sea on the territory of the hotel is not suitable for swimming, the water is icy and muddy. But since I don't like swimming in the sea, for me the river is not a disadvantage at all. You can take a taxi to other beaches with clean and warm sea. The pool is large, the water is warm, heated. In general, the entire territory of the hotel from any point is a pleasure for the eyes.Nearby is the Boxwood Grove sanatorium, we went for a walk there, on its territory there is a huge beautiful park and various entertainment for children, a trampoline and a maze, a children's disco.
