It's a very cool restaurant. We came here to eat several times, it was always delicious and not expensive. The portions are large, we ordered 1 course with my husband for two, salad and rice with seafood, fruit with ice cream and freshly squeezed juice. Everything is great! I recommend it!

Red Octopus is a great place to eat. Delicious, large portions (especially rice), not expensive (for that location).
You can leave your autographs on the walls and ceiling. It's also fun to read other people's books

I didn't like it very much. We ordered Tom yam. We cook better in Siberia. The incomprehensible and unpleasant color of the soup seems to be with the addition of starch. I lived nearby, we didn't go there anymore, but the place is visited. The staff is friendly. They ask you 3 times whether you liked it or not. 10% is included in the bill, formally worked out.

The restaurant is quite large, there are bathrooms, landing on two floors, the breeze blows well from above. The menu is small, we tried curry from the local, chop suey - I liked it, it was very satisfying. The service is unobtrusive, the locals came to celebrate the New year in the cafe.
I wouldn't have come here specifically from Hikkaduwa, but if you were nearby, why not.

A nice restaurant with very caring staff. We ordered two soups, a signature salad and grilled fish, which we initially chose ourselves. It turned out to be a 1 kg fish, it was also served with a portion of fries and a vegetable salad. All this turned out to be worth 13,000r rupees. We ate for two and were satisfied!
You can leave your mark on the walls in the restaurant))
A 10% tip fee is included on top of the order in the bill.
