8 lakes is no longer a place where you can have a good time!
Weekend admission is 15K for an adult, 9k for children from 3 to 12 years old.
What will you get for this money?
Nothing.
1. Let's start with the locker room 🤢 UNSANITARY CONDITIONS Everywhere dirt, water and hair.
Mothers with babies throw dirty diapers right on the changing bench and napkins, and the staff does not clean. The toilet doors don't close, it stinks, the flush doesn't work, the trash cans are falling apart. In general, the women's locker room is a scary and disgusting sight. I WAS AFRAID TO GO INTO THE SHOWER ROOM.
2. We forgot the sunscreen, so they sold it there, but the price is x7.
We paid 7k for the cream, which costs 1,500 tenge on Kaspi. Okay, our joint, what did you forget... but you're completely fucked up 😠
3. Swimming pool
The water was dirty, there was snot, paper bracelets were lying in the water and near the pool. Savages jump into the pool and no one is watching it.
4. Bar
The bar is full of trash on Saturday. Littered with garbage and a dirty bar counter. At one o'clock in the afternoon there were no lemonades, fruit drinks and, most importantly, ICE... Something like that…
5. Food.
The food is good, but it stands like an airplane wing. 4K kebabs, 5k pizza, 4k lemonades.
6. Staff.
For the money that visitors pay you, can you afford adult employees?
It was very strange to watch a 12-year-old girl collecting garbage, and a 14-year-old girl struggling with smelly dirty floors in the locker room.

We had a rest with children, a great place,well-groomed,large territory,I recommend a nursery , near the pools, it works until 1900. There is food at the entrance, but we also brought apples, bananas, and carrots with us.

Our favorite vacation spot. Clean, beautiful, expensive (not at the price of a ticket, it's quite democratic here. A lot of it is generally free). The only drawback is that you can only get by taxi or car, in no other way from Almaty. Otherwise, I would go there every day. Excellent safari park, ice rink, spa. How I love this place. 💕

We stayed with the girls in the room. The water was drunk, not all the accessories were there. The staff is, frankly, slow in restaurants. The price and quality of the food does not match at all, even considering that in such places the price can be overpriced. There are no programs after 11:00. At least the music and the dance floor. We were celebrating a birthday, we had to wrap up early.
It is still impossible to enter the pool area if you exit. Let's say we had a room, we expected that we would run to the air conditioner sometimes and play board games. But alas…
But on the plus side, it's beautiful and clean. Especially at night, the beach club is atmospheric. I also liked the thermal spa.

There are no similar establishments in Almaty: there is an indoor pool with saunas, an outdoor one with hot artesian, massage services, the largest outdoor pool in Asia, lakes for fishing and walking, a petting zoo with a protected area, and restaurants. Prices are above average, but Tau SPA is more expensive and the level is lower than that of 8 lakes.

However, I'm screening you along with your "luggage" for the subject of carrying not particularly dangerous items, but food, which in itself is quite strange. The cafe on the territory is quite expensive, it gives the impression of some kind of imposition of food service, what to do-you want to eat, well at least you can take water from the outside world. In general, the place is expensive for Kazakhstan, it is well promoted. However, this is just a pool, not even the sea, chlorinated water. In Russia, this complex would not be of interest to us

The resort is very developed. There is only 1 minus in the cafe, it is very expensive and the food is so-so. Now the pros are the atmosphere here is like in Dubai or Turkey. The children loved to relax in 8 Lakes. We usually rented a cottage for two days. The bed is snow-white, the furniture is tired, like in a sanatorium. The price tag is always 5 check-in)
You can't have drinks with your food, they scan at the entrance upon check-in, when issuing a card with a mandatory deposit that can be spent on the territory.
We were in the kennel once, I no longer want to look at tired animals in conditions that are not entirely clear. The wolf and the bear are thin and unhappy. We rode around the territory with a breeze, the children are happy.
You can rent bicycles, but for the whole day, the hourly payment does not pass.
Breakfasts are included in the accommodation, served quickly, there are no complaints about the service. We liked it, we were there more than once, maybe we were lucky, many complain. At that time there were 8 restaurants, then 4. The price tag there bites if you eat with the whole family. The waiters mostly ask to close the account long before the end of dinner. Maybe it's accepted there, but the sediment remains.
There were not enough sun beds near the large pool. You can't leave the pool area, you have to pay again. The children stayed to swim, I went to the thermal spa. You can go broke with drinks in summer. More ice than lemonade. Almost all the ice.
We decided to go to the hot springs and only come once a year, as long as the children liked it.

Segiz Kol is one of the many family and outdoor recreation areas. Everything is very well planned. It is noticeable at the entrance to the parking lot. We were at 8 lakes on September 28. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the work of the administrator Lyudmila, who works at the Arovana restaurant. She misinformed us with the readiness of our order, asked us to wait 1 hour, when we approached, we waited for our order for another 30 minutes, as a result, 4 sticks of barbecue were fried for 1.5 hours. The waiter brought the kebab straight on a stick, did not take it off. The barbecue was burnt, I specially attach a photo. When the administrator Lyudmila was called, she did not even apologize, she immediately began to defend herself, like we had nothing to do with it, it was extremely unpleasant, a convincing request to the management to work with the staff. Each waiter has a rotation. Has your order been accepted? I: "Yes, they accepted", the administrator: "Well, that's it then, wait." So the rotation is like this: one is sewn up, there are a lot of GUESTS at the tables behind it, and where the tables are free, you can stand and do nothing.
If we, the visitors, are positioned as GUESTS, then the attitude, in any case, of the Administrator, should be on the level.
