The rotunda in the Suvorov Park in Kobrin certainly gave grace and charm to the slide over the lake. It is a romantic place for dates, a beautiful view for photo shoots, a pretty architectural structure. For me, the most vivid memories of this place in the park are associated with childhood, when the rotunda was still outwardly more modest. Winters in those years were snowy, frosty and the children really liked it: skates, skis, sleds are the main attributes of our parties, it was impossible to drive the children home! Where the steps to the mountain are now, an icy path was flooded, along which we raced down on a sled. I can say that the speed was breathtaking. Some daredevils flew down on skates and the whole audience froze in horror: they would fall or not fall! And on Shrovetide around the rotunda, it seemed, the whole Kobrin was going to celebrate: and under each bush here you have a table and a house! On long winter evenings, a lantern from the rotunda illuminated an icy lake on which both children and adults were skating to music. Wonderful, isn't it?

I remember the rotunda from my childhood, when there was a sculpture of a huge moose on top. The pond was frozen and used as a skating rink. There was a skate rental. The rotunda is super!
