Divinely simple! I tried all the vegetarian ones, but I couldn't resist the meat one either, even though I don't eat meat. Such incredible exquisite and completely different tastes. Awesome wine and compote! A wonderful presentation, the atmosphere of the institution, even though the young people from the relocants spoiled it. The place was handed over to us from bunch to hand as the best hinkal, now I'm passing it on to my friends as a must-have for visiting Tbilisi.
We waited for the order for 1.5 hours. Feijoa compote is normal, vegetable salad is too, but everything else.... Well, it is))))))00). Khachapuri is VERY salty. Chkmeruli is not chkmeruli, although they tried to convince us for a long time that this is the most authentic recipe without milk or cream. No matter how much we searched the Internet for the slightest hint that this is normal somewhere, we were unsuccessful. For some reason, fried chicken with garlic is not called chkmeruli anywhere. A Georgian should be ashamed that he is selling THIS under the auspices of authentic national cuisine. After a lengthy debate, THIS was removed from the bill, but it's a pity for the time spent and the ruined evening.
Of all the things ordered, only the compote was really tasty. The food was carried for a very, very long time, we waited for a hot dish for more than an hour, a salad of vegetables for 40 minutes. The portions are huge. The vegetable salad is not bad (it's hard to spoil it), khachapuri is noticeably salty, chkmeruli is just baked chicken with garlic and a ton of butter (no cream / milk). With such a long wait for the taste, we were not thrilled. There don't seem to be enough waiters. They cannot clearly explain what is on the menu. There is also no administrator, we have observed several iterations of confusion during boarding.
the portions are very large (but also not cheap), it is better to take a couple of dishes in the company, you will definitely eat up. cucumber and tomato salad is specific, there is no sour cream. A pot of tea costs 18 GEL!!! Just black tea! It's edible, but it's worth a C
Delicious. I took soup with khinkali - great, sour broth and small khinkali. Homemade wine tastes good too, the staff doesn't speak Russian. I think I'll come back here to try the rest.
The owner of the establishment is a wonderful person, hospitable, pleasant, kind, the best. The food is incredible, khinkali is divine, salads are wonderful, homemade wine and chacha, everything is fine, I advise everyone, you will not regret it for sure
Deceived by the laudatory reviews, we looked into this place.
The food was not bad, but the waiter did not give any recommendations on what to take and in the end we just got monosyllabic answers "yes" and "no" trying to figure out the menu. Ordered almost at random.
They asked me to recommend wine and as a result they drank some very sour and not tasty.
There was no hospitality or comfort. Maybe just because we are Russians.
I just felt like I wanted to leave this place faster…
Incredible portions
Friendly friendly staff
They speak both Russian and English without prejudice
Food is a separate song
Take it, you won't regret it
Serving for 2
Evaluate your strengths
Khinkali is the size of a big man's fist
I definitely recommend it. This institution has restored faith in Khinkali. The cozy atmosphere, neither the riza got so that there was a "full house". Homemade chacha is something... The portions are large, especially salads - count your strength :)
I will definitely come here if I am in Tbilisi again!
An unremarkable entrance to the basement leads you to this authentic establishment. Rolling compote, tomatoes in 3-liter cans adds its own flavor, just like I went to my grandmother's cellar. But the incredible khinkali (cholkhi red) and delicious wine cannot leave you indifferent to this institution.
