I bought a Makita DLM382 lawn mower. We've got an extended warranty of up to 36 months. I didn't use the lawn mower much, but as a result, the lawn mower broke down after 13 months (the welding on the wheel holder burst, because of this, the wheel stopped holding still). The defect is clearly factory-made. I passed it under warranty. They kept the lawn mower for 2 weeks to say that the repair was refused, "the breakdown is mechanical, which means we fix this only for up to 12 months." They could not explain anything, because they can only read the conclusion of the service center, it is also impossible to contact the service center itself for clarification. "Contact consumer protection, etc." we are working on the conclusion of the service center and that's it. No one has told me why I need an extended warranty. And I would go to consumer protection, but it's a pity for time, this new part costs 40 bel. rub. I paid about 250-300 rubles for the extended warranty, precisely so that later, in case of a breakdown, I would not waste time searching for parts. Draw your own conclusions, now I will bypass the 5th Element, and the extended service is generally a fiction in order to take extra money from the client!
