We rented a car in Dushanbe at 55 Cars Rent for 5 days at the end of July 2024. We traveled around the western part of the country in a 2019 Kia Sportage. They paid 800 somoni ($75) per day.
The trip is great, the country is beautiful, the people are good.
However, I strongly do not recommend this particular rental:
= the car had to wait 2 hours on the appointed day and time. Although we agreed in advance
=before the transfer, it accidentally turned out that the car's air conditioner was not working. What was busily kept silent at the box office
=another car was brought in two hours later. but at a different price))
=the other car was handed over dirty and with an empty tank
=when I returned the car with half a tank of fuel, they refused to make a deduction for gasoline
= for a scratch on the bumper, as much as 900c was deducted. despite the fact that polishing in any service costs 100c, full painting of the bumper 400-500c
=the deposit transferred in cash was returned for another week after many calls and reminders
=returned with a squeak and even rude at last.
Here is such a wonderful rental.
