The fourth standing took place on Via Dolorosa, where the Mother of God stood by the road to see her Son, and saw Him carrying a cross to the place of execution.
In 1881, a church was built on this site on the foundation of the Byzantine Church of St. Nicholas. Sofia.
Currently, the Grieving Mother Armenian Catholic Church is located here.
It is worth looking into to see the colorful mosaic floor of the 5th century in the crypt of the church and the place where the Virgin stood with traces of her sandals.
It's really worth stopping here and going inside...Believe me, it's worth it...
