It is worth renting rooms with sea views here (we had a penthouse on the top floor), as this view compensates for all the disadvantages :) As already written in other reviews, in reality everything is more tired and requires attention and care. And the first impression upon arrival, I admit, was not very good. But still, this place has its own unique charm, in the end I did not want to leave at all! The situation in the penthouse is quite simple, a lot can be fixed in the repair, but you somehow quickly close your eyes to all this, since it is generally convenient: a lot of space, clean, a very comfortable bed with good pillows, a small kitchen with all kinds of dishes and detergent, a spacious bathroom where everything is well located, a hair dryer, washing machine with powder, iron and ironing board, good fast internet, clothes dryer on the balcony. And the view from the balcony! The power lines spoil it a bit, but still, it's just wonderful. In the evening or at night you go out, and right above you there is a boundless starry sky, it's magical. One of the disadvantages of the penthouse is air conditioning. It's time to change it, it's barely coping with its task, it was a little hot in the afternoon. And in the second room of the penthouse there is only a fan. The pool is nice, deep and empty most of the time, and this is in July, at the height of the season. Overall, the feeling of solitude is calm, quiet and good. I like these accommodation options, outside the tourist element. But you definitely need a car (there has always been a parking place). The nearest beach is Akçagerme Plajı (3 minutes by car from the mountain), very picturesque and with all amenities. There are small markets in the village, but normal large shops are only in Kash, which is 10 minutes away by car. The famous Kaputash beach is 15 minutes away. Kalkan is about half an hour away. In general, it is a rather atmospheric place with a good location (if you are by car) and friendly staff. We would have come back! UPDATE In 2022, they returned, but already to an apartment with a sea view. This time there was no problem with the air conditioners: there are two of them, in the bedroom and the kitchen-living room, and they do their job perfectly. It's so homely, quiet and peaceful here that we'll definitely come back more than once. To sit on the balcony again and be amazed at how amazing the nature around can be.
