I was lucky enough to visit this beautiful park in September of this year. A very beautiful place, wonderful nature, majestic mountains, a mountain river with turquoise water, clean air. There is a waterfall nearby. Tame squirrels are running around. I really liked it.
It's a great place. And the views are amazing. The road is not difficult, it is easy to get there. I recommend seeing it firsthand. The infrastructure is not well developed. But this is a plus.
A must-visit place even when traveling to Bishkek for a couple of days to see the mountains of Kyrgyzstan and gorges, mountain rivers and local nature. However, it is better in good weather to enjoy a mountain walk. You can even get there on Yandex. Go and then call a taxi back to Bishkek. You also need to pay extra for entry to the territory of the national park
It was both summer and winter. A magical place, magical nature. I got to the Teacher's glacier in the summer - I advise everyone to prepare beforehand :) at least do the exercises there and so on.
It's a very cool place. Wildly beautiful, atmospheric. The air is like a dessert, delicious and sweet. We went by car, the impressions are unforgettable. Entry is 500 SOM for a jeep (passenger car). We walked at the beginning of the park (from the parking lot) and did not go up much. There are a lot of people even on weekdays, a lot of people from the Russian Federation, a lot of cars with Russian license plates. We will definitely come back.
A magnificent beautiful natural park . You can feed squirrels and birds with nuts. Beautiful views from the mountain river . Expect at least 2 hours of walking
An excellent choice for a weekend trip. Clean, beautiful landscapes, impressed by the frozen waterfall and the view of the glacier. There are a lot of hiking routes, I haven't walked myself yet.
One of the most beautiful places in Kyrgyzstan. It's definitely worth a visit, you can't go through it in a day. The entrance to the park is 700 som from the car, but it's worth it
A very beautiful place with wildly fresh air! You 're breathing deeply . I advise you to visit here at least one day! The only disadvantage is that I think the check-in for passenger cars is a little expensive, 700 soms is expensive for me. And so everything is fine!
"The only mountains that can be better than mountains are the ones I haven't been to yet." But even if you have been to this wonderful park, there is always a reason to visit it again: majestic peaks in white caps tend to rise, while below, regardless of the season, streams of clear mountain water are bubbling, taking all your sorrows and worries into oblivion. Set a route for the day or take a tent and allow yourself a few nights among the slender pines and bright stars - in any case, you will return home a different person.
It's a sooo beautiful place, the area of the gentrified walking path is small, but after it you can climb the river (over rocks) or walk towards the mountains and climb a couple of hills. Entry through the barrier costs 500 som, but walking is not an option, it is very far and cars drive quite fast. Taxi drivers from Bishkek usually agree to take you for 2000-2500 som (+500 som for the barrier), wait 2-3 hours while you walk. I definitely recommend you to visit
Wildlife. It would be nice if it remained like this, so that people only added the opportunity to comprehend it correctly, without interfering with its essence.
We went up to Ratsek's hut. The views are amazing.🔥💯 The climb up is steep.
We managed to see argali and ermine 😍
There are a lot of tourists in the season, you definitely can't get lost along the route. The road to the beginning of the route in the park is in excellent condition, there are many parking areas. There is a connection approximately to the waterfall. The weather is very changeable, and everyone was caught in the sun and rain with hail.
I decided to visit this park on my free day.
I chose the route to Ratsek's hut.
It took me 3 hours to get to the hut from the beginning of the trail, 2 to descend. If you want to visit the Fabulous lake, then lay down another 1.5 hours. This is a well-trained person with experience. If you are physically weak, add another 30%, because the trail is not easy, especially going up from the waterfall. It takes 1.5 hours to walk to the waterfall. To a broken heart, 30 minutes. Be sure to take trekking shoes, sticks, fleece, membrane and raincoat. The weather can be different. There is water on the route, on the way to the waterfall and on the rise. The checkpoint passes 400 tickets to the park during the day, do not be afraid to let the taxi go if it brought you - then they will return without additional payment.
Mountains! Nature! The air! A must-visit. We arrived early in the morning, checked in and immediately went to the park. You can take a Yandex.taxi, immediately arrange for the driver to wait for you. You have to pay extra for this, it's not very expensive, but there's no other way to leave. The beauty is incredible, be prepared to climb a lot uphill along the paths. It is ideal to take food with you and have a picnic on the intermediate observation deck. As an option that we used: there is a cafe at the entrance to the park, you can order food for a certain time after a walk. It is always open, but it is better to come after the May holidays.
The amazing enchanting beauty of the mountains!
If you go upstairs to the "broken heart" and the waterfall, be prepared for a tangible physical exertion. But it's worth it — the views are incredible!
There is also a route along the river, there are no big ascents, and it is also very beautiful.
As for any plain dweller, mountains always excite and give vivid and unforgettable impressions!
The amazing, mysterious and picturesque landscape remains forever in the memory, along with the aroma of crystal air, the murmur of the river and the singing of birds!

The park is very pleasant, but the parking is small, and it is difficult to order a taxi. It is better to arrange with the driver in advance. It is better to prepare in advance before hiking in the mountains. The trails are narrow and slippery, and the weather changes every minute (and this is in July).
It is a beautiful national park, but you need to go prepared. There is not enough starting point with reception, where they would suggest the beginning of each route, give a map. And so there is only a stand, and for the first time they accidentally went on a difficult mountain route
This is a very beautiful place, a must-visit! I don't even know what else to say, I'm attaching a photo, but it certainly doesn't convey all the beauty of nature and mountains.
a great place within walking distance from the city. I.e. you can arrive quickly from Bishkek and not crash your car on the way. If you arrive earlier, you can manage to get up to Ratsek's hut
It is located in Kyrgyzstan at a distance of 41 km from its capital on the northern slope of the Kyrgyz ridge at an altitude of 1600-4860 m. It occupies an area of 2,280 hectares. It starts from the high center of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too and extends north to the Ala-Archinsky gorge. The Ala-archa River flows through the park.
