Unfortunately, I have to share my extremely negative experience with the Internet service from Beltelecom. Despite the fact that I chose the most expensive tariff, the Internet speed provided through optical fiber leaves much to be desired.
Photos are uploaded at a surprisingly slow speed, and unfortunately, there is no need to talk about videos at all — their playback becomes a real challenge, requiring waiting and constant adjustment. This quality of communication not only makes daily online activities difficult, but also causes great inconvenience.
In addition, the stability of the connection leaves many questions. Constant interruptions and interruptions make using the Internet extremely uncomfortable. This is especially frustrating in an era when stable network access should be the norm, not the exception.
Unfortunately, the situation in our region is aggravated by the fact that Beltelecom has a monopoly on the Internet services market. Attempts to complain about the quality of the service are likely to be futile. The monopoly leaves little chance of improving the situation, and, I admit, it causes real disappointment.
It's a disgusting office
The speed of the Internet can annoy even the melancholic. In the evening, a 15-second voice message takes longer to load than it would take to walk to the person you're trying to communicate with, wherever they are. I am generally silent about attempts to watch a movie or cartoon.
The boorish operator informed us that they were not responsible for the Wi-Fi connection, but only for the cable connection, that the Wi-Fi was a bonus from the modem manufacturer, and the master would arrive not when it was convenient for us, but as convenient for him.
I also tried to suggest that the speed was due to the large number of connected devices. And there are a maximum of three devices using this "benefit" at the same time, and even then, the maximum downloaded one is streaming video, and the remaining two are monitoring social networks, nothing is ever downloaded. Where the load comes from is unclear, as well as it is unclear what to pay the money for. To be fair, I'll say that after the boorish employee, a more adequate and polite one called me back, a dialogue took place with her, and we agreed on a visit from the master, who also turned out to be quite intelligent. But the problem didn't work out in the end, as you need to go and change the modem to a "dual-band" or something like that. But no one knows if they are available there, neither the master nor the operator. As a result, the desire to take all the equipment and refuse their services. But there are no alternatives, because the reviews about other providers in our city are as disgusting as mine about Beltelecom.
