The hotel is very conveniently located in the oldest city, but not far from 2 exits from it. Icherisheher station is a 5-minute walk away, 10-12 minutes to the embankment, about 15 minutes to Fountain Square. There are good cafes and souvenir shops around the hotel. I was just looking at the location and the reviews. Everything is very easy to find. They know Russian by 80-90%, so it's comfortable to communicate. In the hotel itself, the staff is very polite. The 2 guys at the reception are nice, they will always help. They helped us carry our suitcase to the taxi when the taxi was not allowed into the old town because of the filming of the film. They are currently filming a historical film there. Room cleaning is only on request, keep this in mind. We were fine. But I heard that one of the guests was surprised.. The breakfasts are excellent. I don't know how it was before, I read different things in the reviews. They always give a plate with sausage, 3 types of sausage, 3 types of cheese, egg, 4 olives, tomato, cucumber, jam, honey, chocolate paste, butter + a plate with bread on the table. I also put a glass of orange juice and yogurt on the table. From drinks tea or coffee, we drank tea - it's delicious. Additionally, you can order mustard porridge, pancakes or scrambled eggs of various types. We tried the local kyukyu - with greens and also tried it with tomatoes - it's very tasty! I always had something left even because I had too much, and my husband ate well! Thank you very much! The woman in the dining room is very pleasant and courteous!
Our room was standard, there was a lot of space! Everything is quite new. It's a little noisy after 8 a.m. (we opened the window for the night in October, as it was dark).
I would be happy to recommend a hotel in Baku! Perhaps we would have stayed here ourselves!👍

I didn't like the hotel at all. They work dishonestly. I booked through Booking. Upon check-in, they asked to pay in full immediately. I paid. After that, they canceled my booking at the Booking Office, and wrote that I canceled the reservation myself at the last moment, which is why the Booking blocked my account. Apparently they don't want to pay a commission to the service.
The staff communicates in a friendly, unprofessional way. A very bad impression of the hotel. I wonder what the tax service of Azerbaijan will say about them.

Do not book through booking, as they ask you to show your reservation upon check-in and the administrator cancels this reservation using the booking password, after which booking blocks the account. Scammers, in short, don't want to pay booking fees.The room itself was not bad. The breakfasts are not very good (they give you a plate with sausage and egg + bread, and you need to ask for a hot dish separately), the staff is not particularly hospitable. They also flooded WhatsApp with their additional services before checking in.

They're cheating. The booking is canceled upon check-in, which is why the service is blocked.
The breakfasts are only cold: instant coffee, processed cheese, cheap yogurt. But the pita bread is fresh.
During the 5 days of our stay, we never cleaned up! Unfortunately, the audibility is excellent. You will hear cats at 5 a.m. meowing under the windows.
The room itself is not bad. Nice shower room with underfloor heating. Good location. But poor service, deception through Booking and poor breakfast greatly undermine the attitude towards this place. I definitely don't recommend it, and I wouldn't come back myself. It's 9.6 out of 10 on Booking. But in truth, I would give them 7.0 out of 10.

I didn't like it. The rooms are not cleaned until you ask, the shower was leaking, the rooms for two are small. A budget room and a standard room do not differ from each other except for the number of people. The sound insulation is terrible. We lived on the ground floor, near the reception, we heard everything. In the bathroom, the window looked out into the hall. The location is in the old town and close enough to everything, but it turned out that you can't call a taxi to the old town. But great breakfasts! It does not correspond in general to its price, it came out about 42,000 rubles for 7 nights
