Great hotel! Clean, tidy, delicious breakfasts (very tasty coffee, by the way). Take as many fruits, buns, and juices as you want. We rested from 05.10.24-12.10.24, cleaned every day, the water is hot, it's barely cold, but you can wash. The pool is very clean, the staff is friendly. The air conditioner is working!!
The only thing during our stay was the renovation on site. At first it scared me, we thought there would be a lot of noise from the workers.
We worried in vain. We can't hear anything, we sleep comfortably and calmly.
The sea is within walking distance, which is very convenient.
I don't understand the negative reviews)) If you want a five-course breakfast, bars at every turn in the hotel and watch TV in the room - go to Turkey)))

We stayed at this hotel from March 1 to March 9, 2024. The hotel is modest, the room is small, but with a refrigerator, with air conditioning. There is a TV in the room, but without a remote control, it was not turned on. The room was cleaned on request, linen and towels were changed. Water is not brought to the room, a kettle is on the ground floor on request, there is no microwave (if you need to reheat food). Breakfast (omelette, rice, fresh cabbage, toast, tea/coffee) is the same every day, so I recommend taking it with you or buying it at 7/11 (it is next to the hotel). The location of the hotel (5 minutes to Karon beach). Wi-Fi is free (catches on the ground floor, no deposit was taken for check-in.
Thailand is the country where the hotel is not of great importance, as there is everything nearby within walking distance for every taste and color). The hotel is perfect for those who love freedom and come to the room to take a shower and spend the night.
I wish everyone a wonderful holiday and I can recommend this hotel for couples without children or for young people.

The guest house is for people who book a hotel just to sleep and take a shower. It will not suit the fastidious. Cleaning was 1 time in 11 days, shampoo, toilet paper are always given on request. For breakfast, scrambled eggs with sausage, coffee, tea, toast with jam, rice, a couple of soups, some vegetables, fruit portions are given to everyone not much. But the plus is that you can always eat your own food at their tables. The room is not large, without a balcony. Karaoke didn't bother us, we fell asleep to the songs. The hotel has a good location, near the 7/11 shop and 5 minutes from Karon beach. There was no theft, there is no safe in the room.

Nice 3-star hotel, very close to the beach, 5 minutes walk. The rooms themselves are small, cleaning is only on request, not by default. We rested from 12/26/22 to 6.01.23. It is necessary, apparently, to immediately note how I got to this hotel. As a rule, we always treat the choice of a place to stay on vacation scrupulously, but in this case everything was a little different for two reasons. Firstly, we were going to spend only 2-3 nights at the hotel out of the eleven paid for, and secondly, there were not very many options, but it is more correct to say that there were none at all, because the tour operator did not confirm other hotels to us (and it took more than a day for an "unconfirmed" confirmation) Thus, we chose a hotel for more than a week and every day there were fewer and fewer options. And this wonderful hotel at the tour operator was in the status of instant confirmation, which played such a cruel joke on us))) I also want to note right away that Thailand is a wonderful country and even a few nights spent at this hotel in no way could overshadow the positive impressions of the holiday!
1) Location. Convenient, a five-minute leisurely walk to Karon beach. Nearby, however, some local construction work is underway, but this does not particularly interfere. Nearby there is a 7-Eleven store, a bunch of all kinds of cafes, makashnits, fruit tents, several exchangers, etc.
2) The territory. As such, the hotel does not have a territory. The courtyard has a pool with muddy water and rooms with access to the pool. I have never seen anyone swim there, and in general, the situation around the pool is not conducive to rest, or any kind of relaxation. I didn't take a photo of the pool, but a photo with a trash can and a rack with an exhibition of empty bottles are in the immediate vicinity of it (literally about three meters).
3) The number of rooms. This is trash! When we spent the first night there, I immediately remembered the movie "12 chairs". Do you remember the episode in the monk Berthold Schwartz dormitory? This episode could have been filmed at this hotel. Cardboard doors, complete lack of sound insulation, current plumbing, a running water heater that does not heat anything, clogged sewerage, wall tiles laid on another tile that comes off in layers, beds with spring mattresses that move apart, a collapsing laminate... A shower watering can with a running heater is located right in the toilet, which at the same time is and a shower cabin. The slopes are observed, it does not matter, the sewer is clogged and as a result, to get to the toilet after taking a shower, you need to wear rubber boots))) Cleaning is three minus. It is impossible to walk barefoot in the room. As I wrote above, we did not live in this hotel for the entire period, the last time we left for three nights on the islands, when we returned we found that during all this time no one had even cleaned our place. The beds are not made, there is garbage in the baskets, it's good, at least nothing has gone bad or stank.
I also want to note that we rented two rooms in this hotel and everything that is written above is more or less typical for both rooms. There is nowhere to hang the laundry. Not only are there no balconies, but there are not even any hooks or hangers… Wet swimming trunks were hung on curtains and a TV. A wet towel also has nowhere to dry (((( The bed linen is literally washed to holes and has not a snow-white, but a light gray color. There is no safe in the room, and in order to leave something in the safe at the reception, you need to present it to the staff, and count the cash in their presence… After such "rules" there is a desire to find an alternative to their "safe"))) From the good: the air conditioner works well.
4) Service. They are asking for some kind of deposit and for some reason it is 20 bucks. We didn't have any small dollars, and we didn't show up there very often, so we didn't make any deposits. Except for the deposit for beach towels. One towel is 200 baht. The reception staff is quite adequate and normal. We are always ready to provide assistance if you need it. They communicate in English, but with a strong accent, not always everything is clear the first time)))
5) Restaurant (breakfast) Look at the photo and everything will become clear to you. This is an economy-economy option hotel. Sometimes you write a review, describe the menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, remember if you forgot to write anything from the abundance of all sorts of goodies. But this is not the case at all. There's not much to eat for breakfast. And phrases like "you won't stay hungry" are also not applicable. You will stay. ))) Breakfast: toast bread, jam, margarine (palm oil?), rice, rice with carrots, some kind of soup, fried cold eggs, boiling water, tea, coffee (ground boiled)? Everything. There are no sausages, no sausages, NOTHING else.
In my memory, this is the first hotel where I did not get to quite on my own, and about which there is little good to write. There are luxury hotels, there are economy options, but they are still decent, clean, and cozy. But this is a completely different case. This hotel has a room on the ground floor, which is rented by a tour operator for meetings with their tourists. I will not write the name of the tour operator, but anyone who wants to will easily figure out who it is, since this hotel was bought out by one operator. So, one day, when I met the guide, I threw her a remark, sitting at one of the tables of the "restaurant" - they say, well, you sell hotels to your tourists… Do you like it here yourself? Do you know what she replied to me? "... I can answer that, well, you buy hotels..." and smiled sweetly)))

This "hotel" does not deserve more than 1 star. There is no ventilation at all, so the room will always be stuffy, only the air conditioner saves, but it hangs in such a way that it blows on people in any position, so there is a high probability of getting sick. There is always dripping water in the bathroom, to make it warm, you need to complete a quest (you need to drain the rusty water before that). The shower is designed for people up to 150cm tall (a watering can hangs at this height). When it started to rain, the plaster began to fall off from the ceiling in the room, everything drips onto the bed. The hotel staff will not be able to solve any of your problems. One of the advantages is the close location to the beach. But combined with the fact that the hotel is relatively cheap, the appropriate audience often gathers there. So the screams, screams, loud bazaars, shouting of songs and NPC music until late at night can be fully expected.

April 2023. When buying a tour to Phuket, I chose this hotel because of the price. After reading the reviews, I thought it would be a nightmare, but the price decided everything! I had a rest at the Karon view resort hotel in December 2022.
The first 4 nights after arrival, we settled in another Melissa hotel on Kata Beach, because according to the guide there were no empty seats in Karon View, and the tour operator Anex gave me a "surprise" - rebooking, although I had a confirmed reservation. She asked me not to move me and leave me here. But, it's useless…
On the 5th day, I was moved to this hotel, while I lost a day of rest due to the move (I could have been on the beach or on an excursion, but I was packing a suitcase, moving, waiting for check-in and disassembling a suitcase). I booked bungalows – these are rooms located in a single-storey building around the pool.
There was no limit to my horror! They settled into a dirty room with a disgusting smell of dampness, cocoons of some insects hung on the walls, the sink was dirty, the mirror was splattered, the toilet was uncleaned with streaks, the tiles in the bathroom on the walls and floor were probably never cleaned. There is sand on the shelves in the closet in the room, and garbage on the floor. The glass on the table and bedside table are stained with some kind of stains. The beds are separate, they swing, the mattress and pillow are hard, the bed linen is wrinkled with a stale look, as if it had not been changed from previous residents. When I asked: "Is this new, clean linen?", they answered me with confidence that it was clean linen, but not ironed. There is only one towel per person, badly worn, stained and torn. At the reception, I said that the room was not cleaned. The receptionist did not find the cleaner, came herself, sighed, waved a rag on the shelves of the closet, dragged a wet rag on the floor. That was the end of the cleaning. In the future, the room was not cleaned at all! The garbage was not taken out. The towels and the bed were not changed. I began to put trash cans outside the door, because it was difficult to find someone, and ants appeared in the room, which I poisoned with mosquitol.
There was no bottle of water put on arrival. They were given only after my request.
The hotel sells a small bottle of water for 20 baht, although a 1.5-liter bottle costs 14 baht in a nearby 7/11 store.
In a small bathroom, there is a hose with a watering can on the wall, when bathing, water pours onto the toilet, sink and flows into a hole in the floor behind the toilet. There is no ventilation, dampness and odors are appropriate. Two tiny bottles of detergents, no soap.
I was lucky that there was hot water, because a neighbor in the bungalow complained that they had not had hot water for 5 days until it was fixed. She told me that in order to clean the room, you need to leave a request at the reception (this is the service at the hotel!!!). After my request, the room was cleaned (without cleaning the plumbing), the bed was changed, the towels were given even more torn.
There is a TV, but without a remote control. Yes, the remote control is not needed, because the TVs in none of the rooms work.
There is Wi-Fi only at the reception, but tourists complained about the poor connection.I didn't use it. Thanks to Anex! Immediately on the bus from the airport they gave a free SIM card, they said that the connection and Internet would only be for 1 day, then they had to replenish it. But, hooray!!! The Internet was great, fast, everywhere until the end of the vacation without replenishment. There was a NON-STOP INTERNET for 15 days campaign.
The air conditioner worked well, it didn't turn off when you left the room. The refrigerator is old, but large and regularly cooled.
Breakfast is the same every day: dry boiled rice, rice with vegetables, cold soup with small pieces of chicken and vegetables, toasted bread (which quickly ran out and had to be refilled), jam, inedible semblance of butter, fresh cabbage salad, scrambled eggs, tea, instant coffee, artificial juice, water. Watermelon and pineapple: I saw fruits only 2 times, because they took out a small tray and they also quickly ran out. People were sitting with plates near the distribution, waiting for them to be brought back. I didn't want to waste time on this and left without them.
They charge a deposit of $ 20 for the room, which is returned when the key is handed over at the check-out (do not forget to remind them of this!).
The advantage of the hotel is only in its location: a beautiful beach with clear sea in a 5-minute walk through retail outlets, shops with fixed prices 7/11 and Green, massage parlors, fruit stalls, cafes, not too noisy from the road. In the evening, you can hear music and karaoke singing from the cafe.
The staff are Thai people who barely understand English and know a few words in Russian. The Google translator didn't help much either, I got the impression that they couldn't read Thai either, because they didn't understand what the Google translation into Thai was giving.
No one remembered my birthday at the hotel, no compliments from the hotel and congratulations, Anex tour in the same spirit.
Vacationers are only Russians, some behaved simply boorishly - they drank until 4 a.m. at night, noisily plopped into the pool, loudly shouted songs or cursed after libations, not thinking that someone wanted to rest and sleep at night.
Although I left the hotel after an early breakfast and returned only to spend the night, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE HOTEL. I understand that you don't have to expect much from a 2* hotel, but not to the same extent! Hostels can be cleaner and more comfortable. It's not worth the money we pay for it. I say this with confidence, because those first 4 days that I stayed at the 3* Melissa Kata hotel were a gift for me and can't be compared to Karon View.
At the airport, upon departure, I was told that the tourists had written a collective complaint against the hotel. I would love to sign up to that complaint. I don't know how this lawsuit will end with them, but it seems they were promised to return some of the money, which I strongly doubt…
I was on the Azur charter flight. When departing from Moscow, the flight was delayed for 4 hours due to late arrival due to snowfall, when departing from Phuket, the plane was delayed for 3.5 hours because electronic registration broke down, as a result, I was late for a transfer from Moscow to home. I had to buy new tickets.
A few words about the excursions.
The prices for excursions at Anex tour are 20%-40% higher than you can actually buy them.
I took only a trip to the Semilan Islands from Anexa, complaining of an early departure at 5 a.m. and a 5% discount for my birthday. And I didn't regret it. We really came to each island almost the first, having the opportunity to quietly look, take pictures and relax. When we left the next island, many boats came for us.
The excursion to the Phi Phi islands is beautiful, but the impression is very spoiled by the extreme crowding and many boats (departure from the hotel was usual), it is impossible to really look, swim, make your way through the crowd of tourists, the air is saturated with exhaust from boats, etc.

We lived in a bungalow, if you could call it that. The beds are separate, they swing, the bed is torn. The bathroom is generally atas, the shower has been built into the wall since Soviet times, but the worst thing is that there is no partition or curtains, all the water splashes on the toilet, sink. Ie if someone wants to go to the toilet at this moment, then you have to run to the toilet near the pool, but even there from 2 toilets it works Only one🤣 Thais have no idea what cleaning is. We have been cleaned only in the last 2 days (the bed was changed) and the mirror was splashed so it remained as when checking in, the sink is not washed, I think the floor was not washed either. I went to change the towels myself, they were also changed in the last 2 days. There are no pillowcases on the pillows, we slept without them. There is no hair DRYER in any of the rooms at this hotel. Breakfast: rice, rice with vegetables, vegetable soup, bread, jam, butter(margarine), vegetable salad (not always), tea, coffee, watermelon, pineapple, juices (like an invite), fried eggs. If you are not squeamish and you only plan to spend the night at the hotel sometimes, then perhaps it will suit you. We took a 100k tour for 10 days (and then a burning ticket) more for this hotel is already too much. From 10 to 22.00 it is possible to order a Russian menu - borscht, mashed potatoes with a cutlet and two salads - crab and olivier, Thai menu - noodles, rice (pad thai), tom yam at prices cheaper than in neighboring cafes. Beer, rum in the refrigerator at a price 5 baht higher than in the neighboring 7/11. Room cleaning is daily and unexpectedly for Ty wet and thorough. The staff understands Russian and is very friendly. You can bring your own food and drinks to the cafe, they will give you dishes. The pool is 8x4 meters deep, 1.6 m, clean and warm, open from 8 to 22. The only corridors are dark, painted in a gloomy gray color. We had a view from the window to the street, others to the courtyard - to the roof. There is no sound insulation, neighbors can be heard from above, from the side, steps in the corridor and bikes under the window, I liked the location of the hotel everything is nearby - the sea is 200 meters, 7/11 is 30 meters, pharmacies, market 40 meters, cafes everywhere, massage 50 meters.
