The station looks small. There wasn't much inside on a weekday. But basically, some kind of bus is constantly loading on the platform. The location is difficult to assess, I went back and forth by taxi. But the old town can be reached on foot if there are few things. But there is a bruschachka, so there are roads not for suitcases. Inside there is a supermarket, a pharmacy, a home improvement store, even a clothing store.
Keep in mind that the station is closed from 00.00 to 04.00!!! Waiting only on the street. In winter, it's another story when you arrive by bus at 00.30 and immediately transfer at 05.00 on the street in the cold is not quite. And this is the Capital of Lithuania, the European Union should not be like this.!
Get ready that drunks/ those who have just "reclined" and those who feel bad will ask for pennies near the station every 5 minutes
The station itself is clean, there are no queues at the ticket offices, they will tell you how to get to your destination
